I am buying an Asella Raspberry on layaway and I was wondering what kinds of clothes she fit. I can't seem to find the info anywhere

 

Audrey wears pretty much anything Minifee. Their shape is a little different but their measurements are more or less the same. She can also wear yosd tshirt as crop tops. Any shoes minifee can wear, she can wear.

I have fallen in love with the beautiful deep chocolate Raspberry! But judging from Jpop's preorder history, Raspberry isn't offered that often, and in dark resin even less... I was just wondering if anyone knows/ has ever asked if Jpop takes suggestions for future preorders? I know it's a long shot, but it seems so hard to find these girls on the secondhand market :<

 

As far as I'm aware jpopdolls only releases a sculpt in each colour once. So your best bet will be second hand. However I'm pretty sure there hasn't been an elf raspberry released in that colour so that could be an option.

Hi guys! Since I last posted here I have actually been able to get my very own Raspberry doll, yay she is really stunning!

Since I am still looking for her perfect look/style and have actually commissioned some basic clothes for her, I thought I'd share the measurements that I took. Please note that my doll has the smaller chest size, not sure about the measurements of the larger chest.

- boobs (small chest size) 6 in / 15 cm
- waist 4.5 in / 11.5 cm
- circumference at belly button 6 in / 15.5 cm
- hips (widest point) 8 in / 20 cm

- upper thigh (widest point) 4.25 in / 10.5 cm
- upper arm circ 1.9 in / 4.5 cm

- shoulder to shoulder 3 in / 7.5 cm
- shoulder to belly button 3.5 in / 9 cm
- shoulder to crotch 4.75 in / 12 cm
- shoulder to wrist 4.25 in / 11 cm

Ahmigahd~ I've thought Raspberry was stunning since seeing several on Tumblr *cough*KaykeAllstarSmoteyMote* but I had no idea the colors were limited runs through Jpopdolls and now I'm kicking myself for not researching her sooner! I really like the tan colors because I think they'd look great together with my Cerisedolls dark tan Ellana, and the fantasy colors (especially the thought of that lavender grey!) because I think it would look great with my Peak's Woods lavender-pink Dotty Muse. But who am I kidding~ Raspberry looks great in any color!

 

I ordered Raspberry in lavender gray from Jpop and I'm so excited! It says estimated delivery is April, but no word yet. I'm dying here!!

 

Thanks to @Allstar I ended up adopting a secondhand custom cast Raspberry in light purple! She arrived a few days ago, but I forgot to post her here. Here she is with my other purple doll! (Please excuse the messy room!)

How do you like her?

 

I love her~ She's gorgeous~ She's so smooth and her hands are so dainty and her faceup is so cute and her body has so much delightful detail~ aaaahh~ Her hands and lips are my favorite parts!

I'm having trouble getting her to sit up by herself. Her knees are kicky but her hips are loose. so I guess eventually I'll have to work up the nerve to check out her stringing. I'm a bit spoiled by mobility thighs; I've had to fiddle with her legs to get her to sit up with her legs over the edge of a couple of boxes. She doesn't want to sit with her knees together, and even with her knees a little apart it's a bit of work to figure out that sweet spot so she doesn't fall backwards. She stands solidly when she's well-balanced, though!

I guess I'm so distracted with other dolly projects that I haven't been trying hard enough XD Hopefully one day I'll be able to join you all in Raspberry ownership~~ For now I will have to be content with your pictures, so I hope you guys spam this thread as much as possible! X3

Question! Am I the only one who bother this hand?

The pose is so antinatural and I never know what to do with it.... I'm considering seriously to boil it and modify the pose but I don't think it can change too much, the angle is very pronounced and there's a lot of resin here...

 

I know that boiling will soften the resin and allow you to change its shape, but I've never tried it. I'm always worried about damaging the doll permanently

 

@DreamSight I sort of get what you mean--it almost seems like that hand pose is made exclusively for perpetually brushing her hair behind her ear or for holding an imaginary piece of string. I've never tried resin boiling (or steaming) so I can't give any advice on that... but I wish you the best of luck if you decide to attempt it!

 

Finally, after see a lot of modification tutorial and videos, I decided not to do it. The hand has a lot of resin mass at knuckles and I think will be impossible to modify with a natural pose. I'll try to hide the hand or put holding something. T^T

 

@designedforsmiles she is so beautiful! Do you mind if I ask how you got her custom cast? I'm sorry I'm new to this company and I don't really understand how they work

 

The first Raspberry dolls were handcasted by the artist. After that, they were Jpopdolls exclusives and were no longer made as artist casts except for a few doll conventions if I remember well. If you want one, you'll have to search the second hand market !

 

@Sept thank you so much! You're very helpful. So then jpopdolls doesn't even sell them anymore?

 

Jpop still sells them, but on a preorder basis. I placed my preorder for Raspberry last November. I'm not sure how often Asella/Nobledolls offers preorders, but I can tell you I'm still waiting on my girl. They do have Rhubarb in stock in green skin as the color was a mistake from the factory.

Oh I'm so envious! I've been eyeing Rivanone on Asella's flickr for awhile - how on earth did you get hold of one? I haven't found them available literally anywhere. Was she an artist cast?

 

She is indeed an artist cast, I got her from the french second hand market. To my knowledge there's only around 7 Rivanone (I might be wrong). The person I bought her from had 4 in total, over time, but sold at least 3 of them. I don't know where they went though :C

 

Is the one you own the one that was on display at doll rendezvous in Paris last year? If so I saw her in person and was like

 

I don't think so, mine is tan grey !

 

Oh nooooo, heartbreaking... I suppose I must just hold out hope for a cast run through Jpop Dolls. I just love her so much - her eyeshape is enchanting!

Thank you ! I'm so happy to have a Raspberry, I wanted one since such a long time and it finally happens ! (Just a bit complicated to put her big butt in clothings !).

Your Audrey is so unique, I love the way you dress your girl !

I finally getting closer with my girl, I'll do a brown alpaga wig but I have to say, this one is perfection on her ! And she gonna receive some blue Mako eyes.

My girl has some heel feet, somone knows what kind of size I can put on her ? I was thinking Tonner 22" like MNF but not sure tho.

 

Firstly I love her in the pink wig especially with those bright blue eyes!

Secondly I have the heel feet but haven't got round to buying some shoes yet however I'm fairly certain @kayke used to put the 22" tonner heels on her raspberry (right) :

Hey! If I remember right I think those specific shoes she's in will also fit flat feet. But there are some styles where you need the heel feet. I get my shoes from either paul_zhangby on ebay or Facets by Marcia - Fashion Doll Jewelry and Accessories

 

Thanks Allstar and kayke for the info. My Raspberry ( Bianca ) has now got her high heel feet from Jpop so
good to know what fits. Most of my Narae shoes are too wide.

Oh gosh @dotworkdoll she's GORGEOUS. Really recharged my desire for one of my own... I contacted Jpop the other day asking if they were ever intending on doing another run of them from Asella, and they said that they'd "need to contact her" and thus didn't offer anything conclusive...

I know this is a neglected threat, but I just got a Radicelle second hand. the seller couldn't find her left foot. I've sent Jpop an email to see if they could help me and haven't heard back yet. So I figured I'd pop on here and see if anyone knew of a way to get in touch with Asella to see if she happens to have a foot or feet laying around (I know a long shot). I don't think the Raspberry feet would fit the Radicelle because of their size difference (if I'm wrong please let me know!). Anyone have any thoughts? Asella's Flickr and blog seem to be dead.

 

I just got my Raspberry yesterday, and I am obsessed! I made the wig, but it's for someone else so she won't be keeping it. The wig I DID make for her was a little too small, so now I'm working on making another wig.



This is the Pinky Flesh color from Jpopdoll. I've been having so much fun dressing her up. I bought so many outfits. I have a great idea of what fits and what doesn't fit now, so it's time for more shopping! I keep staring at her gorgeous face. The lovely corset is from Raouken. I believe it was made for Minifees (I got it in a swap so I'm not the first owner), but it fits her perfectly!

 

Hello, all! I have a Raspberry on the way, bought from a wonderful seller! Is there a place to find her measurements? Would like to start filling her closet with pretty clothes but don’t know her sizes for wig/eyes/clothes!

 

So, I just managed to stumble across this sculptor's work on Instagram and did a little googling. Apparently JPopdolls is doing a pre-order until the 11th of December for the Raspberry in either Fair or Tan skin. Too bad I already spent my dolly budget for the near to immediate future. Maybe they'll go back into full production.

 

Ahh you posted this a while back, and it looks like you already have your Raspberry but just in case you still need measurements, here are they are. These are the measurements that I personally took, so they might be a bit off here and there. I've also added some notes that might be helpful.

Height (Body Only): 33cm
Height (Total): 38cm
Bust (Under): 12cm
Bust: 16cm
Waist: 10cm
Hips: 20cm
Waist to Crotch: 3.5cm
Hips to Crotch: 2cm
Waist to Knee: 13cm
Waist to Thigh: 6cm (High), 8cm (Mid)
Waist to Ankle: 23cm
Legs (Total): 18cm
Foot Length: 5cm (Tonner's American Model shoes fit, along with anything that fits Minifee/Unoa)
Foot Width: 2cm
Shoulder to Wrist: 11cm
Shoulder to Elbow: 6cm
Shoulder to Shoulder: 5cm
Neck: 2cm
Neck to Rib: 6cm
Rib to Waist: 3cm
Head: 17cm- Her head is a bit larger than it looks. 5-6 inch wigs will be too small. Use at least 6-7 inch wigs. I actually personally use 7-8 inch wigs just because of the shape of the head. I'd just order a few sizes to start off with to see what you prefer.

Grey Elf Raspberry preorders are open atm at Jpop Dolls... I won't lie; I'm super tempted.

 

I do have a Rivanone (she's curently faceless as I've been waiting to get her back from a faceup artist )
