New to DoA, and being back into the Hobby

Hi everyone, I recently have the urge once again to adopt some dolls (for now, I’m back to square one with my Dika Doll Senior, who’s still waiting for his face-up in the corner), can’t wait to adopt some more! Also, thank you for accepting me here.

 

I 100% agree, it’s so fun revisiting the old feelings, but also experiencing some new things within this hobby, and thank you for the welcome!

I know that feeling well! There’s also been some dolls I wanted to buy now from years ago (like DFH’s Chubby MSD), only to find out they’re gone from AC. ;-; Hopefully, you’ll find the dolls that you wanted soon! And thank you for the welcome!

 

I completely agree! I sometimes forgot how addicting it is to adopt dolls, hahaha. Thank you, I’m also excited (and nervous lol) as well to do his face-up, just waiting for the rest of materials to come home to me, hahaha. And thank you so much for the welcome!

 

I feel yoouu. There’s also some dolls I regret not getting when they were still available, and yes, it’s also refreshing to see more varieties within the hobby! The lists of dolls I wish to acquire is getting quite long. And thank you so much for the welcome!

 

Welcome to the hobby!!! Instagram is great, and it’s where I go when it comes to Artist BJDs, as well (wishing to catch one of them in pre-sale, and hopefully have enough money during that time lol).

If you want some recommendations, I also recommend Facebook aside from Instagram, there’s lots of legit secondhand dolls there that are in good conditions, and are also very affordable. Not to mention, they also sell discontinued dolls sometimes that can be grails for some people (like me). You just have to be careful, though, make sure to double-check their legitimacy first. ^-^ Both apps are also where I go aside from AC when it comes to legit BJD dealers.

Also, congrats on your first BJDs!!! Hope to see more of them.
