I am just about to burst and thought this might be the most approriate place to do it: I just sent payment for my white Moon! I have been pining over her since her preorder and finally got courage to ask Nefer. Now I'm bouncing happily around and waiting for my Moon.

 

Hi everyone! I'm happy to join this thread. Today I received my first Nefer Kane collaboration doll - sweet Onion. What a striking whimsical little thing she is! I've never seen a Nefer Kane doll in person but I was always intrigued by them so I took a chance and ordered her during her preorder. Nefer has been the best to deal with. She let me have a reaaaalllllly looonnng layaway which is the only reason I could get Onion. And she is such a warm, caring person to deal with. I loved her! This little Onion has already won a place in my heart because of Nefer's kindness.

 

I denied that I had been developing a crush on Onion since I first ran across the sight of her enchanting self on *bay. After she sold I kept revisiting the photos of her from the listing, my heart jumping a little gleeful hop at the sight of her. This went on for several weeks. Then, one recent day Onion was a new arrival at the Doll Peddlar; AND in coco latte resin. I tried SO hard not to want her; but we all know that only makes it worse. So a few minutes ago I mashed the "buy" button and instantly knew I'd done the right thing.

She's styled perfectly! I love her faceup, her wig and her adorable outfit! All look great with her lovely resin. I am enchanted by these sweet Little Onions.

 

You are so sweet! I just happened to have a Dollmore wig from another doll that fit Onion and the color worked! I'd added eyelashes but decided she is more charming and innocent-looking without them. I've decided her name must be Mildred because I think of my beloved great aunt from my childhood, when I look at this little Onion.

 

Thank you. Mildred fits her and its a beautiful name made all the more endearing by the memories you have of your great aunt. My Onion's name is Vidalia. It ties into Onion but I also think it's pretty! I'm still working in a faceup for her so I haven't tried eyelashes yet. I was thinking of using some platinum blonde hair from the mane of my Palimino pony, Poca. And making them sparse but long. Maybe with a little gloss on the tips?

 

Ha! I had considered "Vadalia" as a name also for the same reasons—great minds... Good luck with the faceup; using Poca's mane hair is brilliant! Now you've got my mind reeling with some new ideas....

Hi! I'm trying to find info on Nefer Kane's Iracebeth. It looks like she was released in 2013? Is she considered a mini or a tiny? How much did she originally sell for? How much does she go for now? TIA!

Is anyone participating in the order for the tiny Nancy Luna? There's a limited chance to get hold of a full original moon too at a slight discount. I've popped a blue Nancy on order and a glow in the dark full moon and I can't wait. All my recent visits to the ckdolls site now has me pining for one of the onion girls too!

I got my Pocket Mystery Elf today! She's beautiful!

 

I think her head is the same as a Blythe dolls, so she'd take 11-12 inch wigs.

She's so cute! I really love the size of the new tinies coming from Nefer.

Hello everybody. I just received a Moon for Christmas. She is my first girl, and a size that confuses me. What clothes fit on her? Thank you

 

Some Blythe sized clothing will fit her upper body but will be too small in the hip area. If you go with Blythe clothing, I'd suggest sticking with foofy skirts/dresses or stretchy items. I've owned a moon in the past (had to sell for reasons, but I've got a new one ordered) and used to sew for her so I'm familiar with the size.

I managed to snag the last Onion in praline so she's now on a shortish layaway. I'm becoming addicted to Nefer dolls and I'm now hunting down a Bloon

 

Does anyone have a Lapin? I don't know what their status is, but I think she's gorgeous and if anyone has one, I'd like to see pictures!!

 

My praline Onion is now in transit and the Pocket Onion preorder has started. I'm definitely going to be getting a tiny version to join my full-sized girl. Is anyone else here going to order a tiny onion?

Love your Vidalia choice for her name! I ordered the tiny version and was thinking Pearl since she's tiny even though I have the pink, not white one coming. Might have to see what other onion names there are!

Congrats @aeris! I have a pocket Onion and a pocket Mystery and just love them both to pieces. They're such delicate and sweet little dolls!

 

I have just about managed to keep myself away from the Summer sale as I had to finish my layaway for a gorgeous little Whybe.

My two pocket onions arrived recently and they are adorable!

I ordered a Pocket Mystery Elf and she just arrived ,but she didn't come with a COA.
Do the dolls not come with one?

 

@MrsDiablo I've never gotten a CoA with my Nefer Kane dolls and all of mine have come directly from her. I don't think they come with one.

 

@shinibun Thank you! That's good to know, since this the my first Circus Kane doll. Now I'm in trouble, I want all the pocket sizes dolls!

 

The pocket Nefers are arriving here. Moon, Onion, & Humpty soon. They are teeny tiny, I've cobbled outfits together from PKF petite blythe and Puki. Nothing exactly fits it's mostly trial and error. They are just so adorable, I love them all.

 

I finally had time to work on some of my dolls last week and managed to get my Moon's face up done. She's is a blood moon, but oh so cute!

So adorable!!! I just got a pocket onion by Neferkane!! I’m wondering if they are the same size? I need to find her some clothes... any suggestions?

My second Nefer Kane girl, a pocket Mystery. I’m over the moon in love with her. She’s my only doll this size so I’m at a loss as to where I can find more clothes to fit her....greatly appreciate suggestions! Just noticed the reference to Petite Blythe clothes. Will do a search but if anyone knows of a good place to get quality fairylike dresses I’d be very grateful.

 

I have no clue if this thread is still alive but I am so excited to be getting my first BJD and it's a Nefer Kane doll!
