They're beautiful, Bone! Their little knit outfits are adorable... I love Nefer's dolls, and I'm so happy that they're on-topic now. I was happily able to put a Nexeven on layaway this month, so soon I will have a CK doll of my very own (Nexeven's page: http://circuskane.com/2012/11/21/nexeven-replicant-nexus-generation-7/ ) I think CK dolls are so beautiful and soulful... I hope more people share theirs.

She doesn't like to wear clothes, or even a wig... But I'm planning to sew her an outfit she can't refuse.

I can't wait to join you all. I was lucky enough to purchase a Humpty from her original owner. She should arrive sometime next week! Squeeling with delight and excited that I'll be able to share her here. I have no clue what she's going to wear, if anything at all.

Nefer is a more of a magician than a sculptor: I haven't even heard of anyone able to produce so many drastically different dolls and so quickly - and each one is a gem!

I love seeing everyone's Suzy. Suzy was my first CK doll, but since then I got Humpty, Iracebeth, Aleah, Maheya, and Nexeven is coming next. There is a story behind each of them - they are all so unique... I'll be sure to post some pictures soon. Here is one of my Suzy for starters (face-up by Nefer):

Hmmm Has anyone removed Humpty Dumpty's headcap? It looks like such a seamless fit that I'm a bit intimidated...

nancy dear, all you have to do to remove the headcap of one of my doll, is to use a Xacto knife, you put the blade in the seam and PLOP it'll open like in a magic trick

I work a lot to make my headcaps totally seamless, which I can be a bit intimidating at first, but it allows some of my collectors to let their dolls bald if they want I must confess a passion for bald dolls myself lol!

YuP, the head caps fit really flush, but you Really can open them without a knife too, just pull straight out and it should open up just fine.

The love you have is woven through every single one of your creations. I just wish I had more funds because I would have more of your beauties.

 

I'm loving all the pictures of Nefer's resin kids, but I have to admit that Humpty has a special place in my heart. Nancy, congrats on your new darling girl!

My NK dolls are some of my favorites-I have a Suzy and an Aleah, with Nexeven to come-I think she will be nearest and dearest to my heart. They all lend themselves to such creativity in facial and clothing design. Got to post some pics when I get home. . .

Ah Dear Nefer thank you for giving me the courage to pop her headcap! I adore her bald and have just recently purchased a beanie

im so excited to see this thread. nefer is a friend of mine and a great doll maker. she has great lay away plans too. i won Iracebeth....on the give away contest last month and am waiting for Iracebeth. she is even blushing and painting her for me. OH and she comes with eyes. so what size clothes do i look for? im not very good at sewing. I know she wears a size 5 wig. and what size are the eyes? i want to get more eyes too. squee i can not wait until she comes home~

Hi, Everyone! I sure have enjoyed going thru the thread and seeing the pics of everyone's wonderful CK dolls. I just purchased a Humpty Dumpty second-hand, and I am thrilled to be getting her. I was wondering if the Humpty owners would please confirm the size wig she wears and the correct size eyes. It was my understanding that she wears a 6/7 wig; however, I later saw somewhere else that she wears a 7/8. Also, I read that she needs 12mm eyes, but I was wondering if 14mm eyes may also fit her. I really appreciate all the help and input everyone can give. Thank you!

 

I wish I could help on Humpty Info but I'm not sure... You know, I haven't seen very many Ettie pictures and I'm dying to! I wish I could've gotten her!
