The point is that Dollfair has a working website for dolls she is no longer supplying. The supia one and the others should all have been closed or at least had a notice saying she was no longer an agent for those dolls.
I'm sorry, I didn't know the old Supia site still existed. Got a response back from this investigator lady--she said she's sent me a letter!

We were discussing the websites on another group and holding a domain name when you no longer have a business operating under that name is cybersquatting. Apparently you can contact the ICANN to register a complaint.
I ordered a large bust Narae right before all this hoopla started, and my order was one of the unfortunate ones that did not get fulfilled. I got a refund via my credit card company. The people at Dollfair are very nice. I would advise others to make contact by phone because that was always the best way for me to get through. I, like others, ended up buying bjds from another place (Soom in my case). If it hadn't been for all of this, I probably would never have started my own sculpt. Funny how things work out.
Wow! I should've read the latest posts. Gosh, I feel naive. The Dollfair people did seem nice to me. Come to think of it, I wonder if the only reason I got a refund was because I did it through my credit card company as a dispute. The credit card gave me back all of my money plus interest 16 weeks after the purchase which is way after the 60 days they're obligated to.
Yeah. Unfortunately, all three or four numbers have been tried by pretty much all of us, and we never get anyone--just an invalid number code, or ringing into oblivion.
I said that before I read everything. I feel terrible for everybody who hasn't gotten money back. I'm so gullible. I believed everything Dollfair told me and just visited DoA for an update. I guess that shows how long it's been since I thought about it.
Don't worry. A lot of us believed Dollfair until it was too late. Sent the investigator a link to the blog; I'll be faxing her my printed emails and such soon.

You're welcome guys...... I know that some of us (me included) were criticized by people for being to harsh or angry and maybe we even felt a little guilty about it.... but looking back on the past couple months.... I think that we were right to not be patient and wait and keep accepting excuses. I dont know if anything will come out of the Attorney General's Office thing but i feel GREAT that we did it. In fact I feel pretty good about everything we did.... even if sometimes it felt really difficult... or felt mean. Hello everybody! It seems to me that keeping silence for such a long time was a mistake, I should have already written here. But I decided to get compensation from Dollfair... It was another mistake. I was fooled by Catrina. It is very sad that I made so many mistakes, but still hope to get my Neferti doll from Bimong. Now I'm here without doll or money, I'm in terrible stress and I really want to improve the situation. In June 2010 I made 2 orders in Dollfair company. I ordered Neferti LE-30 head (light tan French resin) + Limited face painting + Limited Jewelry and Neferti LE-30 body (light tan French resin) in Dollfair international (Total Price: $760.00. Online Orders_00003586 and 00003599). I paid for them immediately using Visa card. Erin, I've heard that you are in contact with Bimong. I've already wrote him, but I still got no answer. I've sent you a pm with my order information. I would be very thankful if you help me to solve my problems. I don't know what else I can do.
Does anybody have any news from Monica Gregory ? Also, did those of you that finally received their Dollfair order directly from Bimong explained her about this ? I'm wondering how it might be considered ; I hope this doesn't label the complaint against Dollfair as 'resolved' . :/
Haven't heard anything back from her through phone or e-mail. It's just like a we sit and wait to see what happens next. My Narin came but 2 of his fingers on the left hand was broken. There was no apparent damage to the box it came in so I'm thinking it was broken before it was shipped. I e-mailed Bimong but haven't gotten a reply back yet. EDIT: 4/11/2011 ~ Received Bimong has sent me a replacement and he also sent an extra for the other hand too. He's such a sweetheart. Everybody who likes his dolls should continue to support him.

Any updates from Monica Gregory anyone? Either e-mail or phone call? I tried calling her this morning but she didn't answer so I left her a message with my number to give me a call back but so far nothing. I'll wait to see if she will call me back. I'll give her another call on Thursday.

Though it has nothing to do with Narin, it has a lot with Dollfair. So I feel obliged to post it everywhere I can to warn you guys. First a little piece of a story. Jan 26 I placed an order at Limhwa site for Elly. I paid immediately, and my waiting started. Mar 16 I received a mail from Morgan Rhys, saying that they sent me a refund as they have a new PayPal address for Limhwa orders. She apologized a lot and asked me to reply and clarify if I'm interested in my Elly or not. The money was refunded next day indeed, and I decided to send it again to the new PayPal address Morgan gave me as I was really anxious to get Elly which I really adore. I got a reply the same day (Mar 18) saying that payment was received and my Elly will be shipped in 3 weeks (which means approximately April 9). Few days ago I found out that one customer from Russia received her Limhwa orderes placed Jan 2011 recently. She told me that she didn't have to resend payment to another address, so I started getting worried and decided to write both to Limhwa and Dollfair yesterday. Today I got a reply from Limhwa. I ordered this year from Art-Bimong and while there's been a delay, he told me that my Narae is getting a face-up and it should be shipping in a week or so. There are a few orders trickling through still.
I just posted on teh Limhwa waiting room thread that on the Limwha site, she mentions that she has lost contact with Dollfair, after receiving orders for dolls but no money to pay for them. It's very sad, but it seems Limhwa is a repeat of Narin/Narae. I hope the losses won't be as bad as Narin/Narae. I have been waiting for over a year (Feb 2010) since I ordered and paid for a Narae. I'm glad that Bimong has been able to fulfill most of the remaining orders for Neferti heads, but there is still a group of left with no money and no doll.

Sorry to jump in pretty late into this problem, but my grandmother, who doesn't have a DoA, ordered a Limhwa Toyou Sara on 3/7/11 from the international site and sent her payment, but never got an order confirmation or reply to any of her messages. She even called the contact number (440-239-0723) but it was disconnected. We've both looked around to see if others might have had this problem, but now we're wondering if it's the same problem as what's going on here..... It seems like there still isn't very much information on what EXACTLY happened with Dollfair, has there been any more information since the last reply? It seems like a similar problem, but from the dates, these seem like completely different incidents of the same thing. Has anyone else had problems with Limhwa since their 'grand reopening sale'? Any information would be fantastic, we're really confused and naturally pretty upset. Thanks in advance.

As I have mentioned above, it would be in your grandmother's best interest to contact the Ohio Attorney General as well as file for a chargeback (if a credit card was used).
wasnt limhwa warned by Bimong? I thought I read somewhere Bimong was to warn Limhwa so who knows what happened? either they didnt choose to believe it or...I dont know
Bimong and many Dollfair customers wrote to the Limhwa owner/creator so she knew about the problems months ago.... i guess people just have the idea that "it won't happen to me!" but sadly it did.
It sounds like steps were taken on the part of the Limhwa artist's part. They just didn't help. From ehowinn's post in the Limwha waiting room, a reply from Limhwa on the matter, additional emphasis mine:
Just because they had a bad break-up (yes they were in a relationship) doesn't mean he would automatically lie. WE haven't done anything to her and several people from here and other artists had tried to write to her in the past. I'm not saying that I don't understand her side, and that I think she isn't hurt, or even that i think it's her fault that Catrina is a scammer. I'm saying that she had plenty of warning from more than one source, she hadn't heard from Catrina in 2 months.... and didn't try to warn anybody else that there was a problem until 2 months after Catrina dropped off the face of the earth (again). At some point, when at least 8 people write to you warning you about someone, and you continue to work with them and then you (and others) get burned because of it.... then you have to own your part in it. Yes she is a victim, but I don't feel as sorry for her as I felt for the other artists who didn't see it coming. I'm allowed to have that opinion and you can have yours, but really if you didn't order from Limhwa or don't currently have an unresolved problem with Dollfair then this thread isn't for you.
