Catrina emailed me yesterday to say that she is waiting for some funds to clear and the refund will be sent next week. Will update when this is done.
i would like to know if Catrina casted the neferti heads and if she will keep his word and ship them in this month. if not, i want a refund.
This. Many times this. I was reassured about the status of this until reading posts in the now-locked waiting room in which Bimong claims that Dollfair cannot legally produce the Neferti heads. At this point, I absolutely require that there be some form of confirmation as to whether I can receive my doll, or whether a refund is the only recourse I have now.
I just want my 43cm Narin doll head I ordered at the end of May with Day facepaint, the only reason I ordered since the price of the heads was on sale....hopefully I will get a answer soon.....

First, I apologize that people are waiting to hear back from me - I am doing my best to both catch up with the huge volume of emails that I have received and arrange a solution to this situation that will take care of everyone who ordered. I will be writing with news as soon as possible. In response to the questions about the Neferti head - I haven't been on the forum in a few days, so this was the first I had read that Bimong would not be permitting us to produce the head. He has not contacted me personally about it, either through phone calls or emails... so at this point, our plan is to continue production as we were instructed in writing in September of 2010 when he sent us the master for production. I will be posting more about this situation and the circumstances that lead up to it as soon as possible. I will begin processing refunds on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week - please hang in there, we'll get through this terrible situation together.
I'm happy to wait a bit longer if the nefteri's are being cast, at the moment I want to have the head more then I am worried about my money. Catrina, I don't they are still going to be ready this month, can you give us a loose esimated time as to when we could see the Neferti's shipped out all thing going smoothly? If you awnser here everyone waiting on Neferti's can see. Thanks
A few weeks ago, when things seemed to be going from bad to worse, I asked for a refund. Catrina assured me I would have the refund within a month. It didn't take that long. I believe it has been about 2 weeks since my request and I have now received a refund from Dollfair for $596.44 which is a little shy of the $605 I paid. I assume the difference must have something to do with the Canadian dollar rising in value against the US dollar? Not sure about that $8.96 difference though because the refund showed up on my Visa statement with no further comment from Catrina. I've now happily rerouted the money to Fairyland. Hopefully I'll have a couple of their dolls by Christmas.
Catrina e-mailed me five days ago, saying that the refund would go through this week and that she would be sending me another e-mail confirming my refund. no sign of it, so far. :/
Added the information for both of my order to the Wiki. Still didn’t get a single replay after sending a few e-mails to Catrina. I don’t mind waiting for both my 43cm Narae and Neferti head to be casted but if casting the dolls is impossible, I’ll be asking for a refund for both of the orders.
as far i've understand, you have the master mold from more than a month now, so, the question is very simple: are you able to keep your word - did you already casted the neferti heads, and will you ship them in this month?? we're already at 18 oct.
Haven´t got any reply to my PM and emails asking about the refund from Catrina and I will not accept personal reasons as an apology. One has to deal with his customer´s problems when he wants a professional and successful business. I am very disappointed about this transaction and I want it resolved quickly.
I am hoping that I get my doll head, but the later this continues I am re-thinking if I should wait or get a refund. Bimong has told me he will resolve this, but according to his website he asks all involved to get a refund from Dollfair. I am more confused as ever now.
We have been waiting for a funds transfer to reply to each refund request.. I didn't think it was appropriate to reply without a definite time for when the refunds would be sent. Refunding will begin on Wednesday when the transfer is complete. We are casting the Neferti heads now and will have all of them completed by the end of the month. We were instructed in writing to cast the heads and ship them, since Bimong was not able to do this. He even sent us a TIF file of the logo we are to place on the certificates. So there is no problem with the Neferti orders at present and we will be in touch with all the customers for Neferti with an update. Again, I apologize for the delay in replying to emails. Now that we have refunding schedule in place, we'll be contacting everyone individually and giving definite info on each request now that we have information from the bank.

Thank you for the update! I am relieved to hear that the Nefertis will still be produced. I can absolutely wait a little longer if it means that I will receive my doll. I eagerly await a shipping notice.

Agent Byakko, who ordered for me Narin Dragonfly, said in a wiki. Since I do not have a PayPal, then ordered Byakko. But this is my order!

I am waiting for refund on two orders #3403 and #3532. Hopefully today. Received complete refund for order #3532 on 10/24/. Thank you Catrina. I decided to wait for Catrina to look through her Naraes and see if there is one that I'd like for order #3403. I will update this post when order #3403 is resolved.
No email back from Catrina still for me for over a month and about 20 total emails to all her known accounts. Ordered June 8th, my order number is #00003557. Days passed since order and funds given to Datatex Media: 134 days. I can't understand it, Nocturneofsilence, since we've gone through the emails and someone has been helping me organize all the numbers. I assure you your refund will be arriving shortly. we will be doing refunds today of orders taken via Visa/ Mastercard etc. as well as some Paypal. i have been advised by Paypal to transfer money into my account there since the refunds will go faster. Paypal refunds should be happening over today, tomorrow and Friday due to the time it takes for transfers to deposit to Paypal. Neferti orders are proceeding and casting is going well. and we will be sending those off by the end of the month.
Are the refunds being issued to everyone that ordered (except for Neferti) or only those that have contacted Catrina?
I also wait for my doll 43cm + a butterfly head . I ordered them 2 + 3 March 2010 I am so sad thinks are going this way!

I've put information up in previous posts.. will try to write it more simply and clearly: Funds went into my bank account on TUESDAY and then Paypal advised I send funds into my Paypal account, so my customers would not pay fees. Here is the latest on this: Date: Oct 19, 2010 Time: 10:51:21 PDT Status: Processing (Expected Clearing Date: Oct 22, 2010) i did as much refunding as I could with my balance yesterday and more funds will clear tomorrow, as the notice says, Oct 22. Zababee, you have sent me perhaps 15 emails and PM's the past week, all with different instructions. We will ship you your white Neferti head you requested us to make for you, and can refund the remainder to you when funds clear in Paypal tomorrow. Neferti will be shipping next week and we made your white head as you asked me to. The heads are now in finishing process. NEFEferTi update: Cristy Stone will be painting the Neferti heads for those who requested painted heads. You are getting a fantastic deal here, because Cristy's faceups go for three times what you paid for your Neferti painted head. She includes a signed certificate of authenticity with each of her faceups. If you aren't familiar with Cristy's work, she has won many BJD competitions and her work is so amazing. She will do your head in the same style and colors as shown in the Neferti photos. I'm so grateful to Cristy for her love and support on this project. Thank you everyone for your patience. Though this has been a bad experience in some respects, the majority of the emails I have received are so sweet and supportive, I have been moved to tears sometimes. Catrina Edit: Lara, you did get a refund yesterday. Tracy, I'm not sure what to do about order refunding and having your order continue with Bimong. I've heard all the same stories and assurances now for months, and don't want my customers to end up in my shoes.. money gone and no doll and endless frustrations, that is why I'm refunding you guys rather than turning over orders to him.

I ordered a Narin Charisma back in July. I emailed Catrina regarding a refund earlier this month and I have had no correspondence from her what so ever. PMing her now to try and resolve this.
I emailed to Catrina demanding for a refund.That is my third letter to her with this resolution. I think it is impossible to force me to buy head at her if I don't want anymore and want my money back. My next step if Catrina continue to refuse to sent me refund today-tomorrow will be goung to DoA administration. I think it is simply unfair to give refund to everybody who wants it exept me - just because Catrina read at last all my letters ,that I was sendidng to her with not full information about what was going on.

Just as a note, DoA's administration is not involved and will not get involved with these transactions as they did not happen through our Marketplaces. We can't be used as a threat in this instance (or any other, really), particularly because your order is being fulfilled.
dear Armeleia! Thank you,sorry - I just didn't knew that nobody could help me. I will be trying to convince Catrina to give me refund - as to everybody else. She doesn't reply my emails, so I will be doing it here. Without asking for DoA mods help.
Quick update: The Paypal funds came in today, and most of the people in the Wiki should receive their refunds today. (insert cheers and happy celebrations!!) If you asked for a refund after I sent this first deposit to Paypal, I will transfer more today and it should show up Monday or Tuesday (it takes about 3 days for it to show up). Today should be most of it though. I have been working with Paypal and got their advice on the best way to do this.. and it takes TIME to do each one, since sometimes people have sent me multiple payments and use a different Paypal email ID than their normal email address, or address used as a billing email address. Each refund will also show the order numbers on them in the Subject area of the email. I'm sorry but DOA screen names are confusing to me and most of the time I have no idea who you are unless you give me your order number. Even though I am sending money from a balance, Paypal is still charging me fees.. and I already paid fees on everything in the beginning. That's why it's been hard for me to calculate how much needs to go to Paypal. Each refund is different, depending on where it must be sent. Zababee, I will give you a refund but you need to know how confusing it was getting so many different and opposing requests from you in the span of only one week. I did reply to your original request here on DOA, to switch to a white resin. I would also warn you about sending your money in for a Neferti elsewhere-- that is why I was shipped the master and logo to make the certificates. There was NO ABILITY TO MAKE ANY DOLLS. ~~~ZERO~~~. No boxes, no certificates, no casting place, no molds, nothing. I was in shock and I'd had enough promises... . If things don't work out for you, I may not be able to make a Neferti for you after this time. Did we want to do all this here and make the Neferti heads? No. It's been a huge amount of work. We had no other choice, because there was no other way to get them to our customers. Luckily we make other types of BJD here and are able to color match the Narin colors and do the molding and casting. thank you everyone, please take a look for your refunds. They are all moving along well now. We also discovered some of our email trouble: about 5 of our customers have that email virus on their computer, which sent our system THOUSANDS of SPAM emails in the span of only 1-2 weeks. We weeded through our spam system and found some of the missing emails. This is why I have been replying to emails via my private email address this week. Oh well, Murphy's Law is in full effect here. But I'm pleased the refunds are progressing steadily and hope to have all concluded shortly. Catrina
Masala Chai Tea, I've replied to your questions. And many of the WIKI people have refunds now, I am not sure who is who, but we've been working all day at processing these. Visa/MC refunds might take a couple days, but the Paypal ones should come with an email announcement. Due to Paypal fees, I've needed to make another transfer to the Paypal account so I can finish off those refunds. Paypal shows this: Date: Oct 22, 2010 Time: 13:00:07 PDT Status: Processing (Expected Clearing Date: Oct 27, 2010) So we will be able to process the rest here on the 27th. the reason I'm doing transfers into Paypal rather than using a credit card is that the credit card method will send fees to my customers.
