Narae and Narin 60cm Discussion part 2.

When you want the full doll you ordered the body and then tell them which head you want on it. If you just want the head you use the order for the head. Not sure how it works if you want just the body .

Bimong keeps changing they way he sells things! I think the next plan is heads and bodies separately but I'm not exactly sure how he will list things!

 

You can, but most of the time he has a different gift head for every preorder. Make sure to read everything on the body listing, or you can ask him if there's a gift head!

 

Hey all and happy holidays!
I have another question, maybe somebody has tried dressing their Narae60 in Loongsoul clothes (for the 58cm girl?) The measurements seem to be a bit diffrerent as Narae's body is 1-2 cms bigger in some places, so I am not sure if they would fit.. Maybe some other firm's clothes have worked out well for your girls?

 

It's been a while since I bought clothes for my girls but SD13 I think fit. Stacey's Pink Ocean makes things to custom measurements, so that is a safe option depending on what you want.

I looked back a bit and I think you are talking about the new Narae body! I have honestly not dressed mine in a lot of things yet, but some 65cm girls clothes have worked.

 

I don't know about loongsoul but from my experience, narae girls take SD13 boy for bottom. I also tried a pair of iplehouse SIDw jeans that fit very well at the hips.

 

My new Narin just arrived. Look at those hands! The body is amazing (as expected).

Narin looks so gorgeous! I purchased New Narin 68cm last month, too. Bimong told me that the casting is finished and the shipment will be ready soon. I'm so excited! The production time is so fast. I didn't expect to receive him in 1-2 months.

 

Hi, lovely people here! I'm also a newly minted Narin 65cm owner - my poor boy has been waiting for his faceup since before Christmas, but natural light has been sparse around here.



I'm wondering what kind of clothing you all have found that actually fits - he is practically bursting out of that shirt made for slimmer 70cm dolls and I'm wondering if I should have more luck with SID sizes...

 

And here is my boy finally faceupped (although he is still waiting for his proper eyes and I'm planning on trying my hand in wigmaking for him):



And to - partly - answer my own question, I did some measurements on the body, and as it turns out he is somewhere between EID and SID size when it comes to upper torso. Shoulder width is 19 cm which is definitely EID, but chest (32cm) waist (25cm) hips (33cm) are slimmer than a SID, so I'm still on the fence on which size I should go with...anyway that is an EID undershirt he is sporting right now

 

He looks great. Those pants fit well. If you bought them, what are they?

 

Unfortunately they are a mis-sized pair from M3 Studio. I ordered them in EID size years ago, but got this pair that doesn't actually fit an EID (too tight). The belt-loops are asymmetrically sewn so I assume that this pair was an accident.

I don't actually have anything else that comes even close to fitting (the really EID sized one from IH is too big and the slimmer 70cm clothes are too tight). This yellow pair is too long (hence the rolled up bits) and roomy in the waist, but not horrible (at least he can sit very comfortably in them XD).

 

I want to get some time to try some things on my Narin.

 

I've got my Narin65 too but I didn't take picture of him for the moment. I want to make a vampire out of him.
The body is really heavy, I nearly have difficulties to handle him!

All Bimong's new sculpts have been gorgeous, I wish I could get one. But instead I drop by with a quick snapshot of my Narin N611 hybrid since I've been playing with him a lot more lately.

 

@Follow-the-Wind -Thank you! He is the first doll that I handled that is so heavy and so poseable at the same time - kinda makes me think of a fat cat I can't wait to see how your vampire guy turns out, post lots of pictures of him!!!

@AlisonVonderland - Aw, Kamael is so sweet on this picture! I saw that you made a short wig for him in the past - was it very hard to get right? I've never done a wig in my life but I'm kinda thinking about trying one for my boy.

Although his hair situation is not solved yet (he is borrowing someone else's hairdo for the time being), he has his own eyes now, and I couldn't be happier with them:

@Lilla Oh, sorry for answering so slowly - my boy is the 65cm version. here he is between a 69cm Dollshe boy, and a 68cm Mirodoll+Iplehouse EID hybrid:



@fancat I looked around the measurements and it seems like (aside from the height) the 5th Motif guys have similar shoulder-hip ratio, so I'm planning to start with stuff in that size range. From the Venitu discussion it seemed that they fit mostly in Iplehouse SID sized clothes. For pants the Rrabbit and Freedom Teller ones were specifically mentioned as fitting well, if I remember correctly.

If you have your eyes on regular slimmer 70cm sizes, I'd definitely go for stretchy stuff. None of my non-stretchy 70cm shirts fit on my boy.

 

@Smaug , no worries! I went back a few posts and discovered you had mentioned it! I don't sleep well and my eyes skip over things easily at the moment. Thank you for answering my question and for the picture. You've got a trio of good looking boys there!

Hi everyone! Happy to finally join the forum posting again. I just ordered my Narin 65cm. Can't wait to have him here.
I was wondering if anyone knew which jointed hands would fit this doll the best?
Bimong sent me a measuring pic of the wrist and its approx 6.8cm (2.63 inches)
I adore Bimong hands but I've always wanted to buy some jointed hands if I ever got around to buying an SD doll.

@Arianne02 I have been wondering this myself! When was the last time large ladies were released anyway? Over a year ago? I'm holding out hope for a Dandelion60 and I'm on the fence on if I need to add a Narae N610 to that.

Does anyone know that last time he worked on upgrades for the large lady bodies? He seems to be upgrading bodies lately and I'm wondering if he is possibly pondering some changes.

 

Actually wasn't there a notice he has now stopped production on dolls?
Unless he took it back.... But I think the last ever preorder ended in may or june.

@sahome This is such sad news! How did I miss this?!?? I'm sitting here a bit in shock just trying to absorb the news. Thanks for pointing it out.

He certainly is on hiatus. I do seen to remember that he was planning to update the 60cm body in the future and he did say he would do occasional heads and parts. The volume on the final order convinced him to use a casting service, so maybe that will make it easier for him. The last orders from the last pre-order are supposed to be delivered in the fall.

 

I am looking to hybrid my 2018 Narin609 head and it seems to be very hard because of the neck size. I need an around 11cm neck body. And I want him 63 to 65cm size to match with my old 60 Narae girl.
Could anybody show me a new Narin head on an Iplehouse nYID or SID male body, please? No matter of resin color or Narin head mold.

 

Could anyone help refresh my memory. I’ve had 3 narae in the past, but I can’t remember which wig size I’m supposed to order
Specifically I’m looking for a monique wig. 6-7” or 7-8”?

 

Wig size is 6-7. Their heads measure 6.5 inches.

Her face needs work, but the body is in good shape (save for the fact the previous owner sanded it and it lost some definiton)

I love her, but ouch that price tag.
I thought I remembered Bimong saying she would be $1000 for a fullset? If I want the fullset now, I am way over 1000 :/

Edit: well I found another post saying "Sale price of normal color version will be $150 for head, $650 for body, and $70 for hand and foot parts". He did mention a price increase in casting when he released her, but I'm still really bummed out about it.

 

This is the first release of this size. He does offer layaway. I wonder if the special cedar box is raising the price. I know he switched to a new casting service also.

I got NS. easiest to hybrid. Also I'm basing him off a comic character. I didn't expect him to take such a short amount of time and I wasn't really ready with a body. Time to start shopping! Or I'll most likely wait and try him on things when he gets here.

Though I'd really like Bimong's 68cm boy body...but it doesn't seem to be available. Also it would cost me my life.

 

I have the Bimong body, the 65cm version but I may try the elf head on some other bodies!

 

oh! How do you like the Bimong body?? Does it pose as well as it looks like it does? Does it look good in clothes? Would it make a good Spider-Man? I'm dying to know all of the things. I want a really well posing body, and I especially would like a neck joint, which leaves me with about three options and I only like Bimong's. XD

I tried him on my Dollmore Glamor Model body and it was proportionally good, but the neck was too short. That is one of my largest bodies (in height and shoulder width). I didn't bother with EID because no, or Ringdoll RGM03 because I know it won't work also because of the neck (RD neck is too short and too skinny). I didn't bother with any of my Dollshe's because I only have the older ones (Pure, Rythmos and Classic) and they're too small. The giant newer ones might work, but no one in my area owns one.

That's all I got! I have no idea how to handle giants XD

 

Just popping in to say I've got the 68cm body and I love it. I have a number of bigger guys and I have love-hate relationships with them because they're always tough for a clumsy person like me to handle. I haven't tried doing any crazy posing, but the Bimong body is the 60cm+ body I've had to fuss with the least to get it to do what I've wanted. He stood out of the box for me immediately and he sits beautiful with his legs folded in front of him, under him, and under to the side. He curls up well too. I'm still clothes hunting for him; I'm mostly worried about finding pants to fit those thighs and butt lol.

 

How big is the head you have on him? I feel like the new one is massive (he's larger than most of the heads I have on my 70cm bodies) and I'm afraid he'll be too big for the 68cm body. Which is so sad because I love it D:

 

I've got a Narin N609 head on it and if anything, I feel like the head is very slightly small for the body (but I have a lot of funnily proportioned dolls in my collection so my eye for a realistic scale may be completely blown). I know Venitu is a larger head and seems to fit on the body fine.
