Narae and Narin 60cm Discussion part 2.

The wig is still a bit wild, but I think it suits her. She's beginning to develope. I wish we had better weather, I want to do her face up!!

 

I've got my Narae60 today! With a kind handwritten note by bimong and a lot of biscuit (already eaten by my boyfriend ).
The doll itself is beautiful, with a nice shade of tan. She is perfect!

She is standing near my right now. Without eyes, wig or face-up but she is amazing nonetheless.

follow-the-wind - I am waiting for Bimong's next release - mid FEB? and wondered how her scale worked with the slightly larger females - 62cm-64cm. She looks so small/tiny. Also, do most sd clothes fit her? She is just gorgeous. And your resin is the tan?
I have not ordered from Bimong since he has releases. Does one have to be at the computer to order the day of the release?
Anyone who can answer the questions...Thank you.

 

I am hoping to take pictures of my two girls tomorrow. They don't look small in person! They can curl up and sit in realistic positions! I currently have a leotard on my NS girl that was made for a Supergem girl. I want to switch my light tan girl to the larger bust and the ballet feet!

You will have time to order! He closed the last order a bit early but even then I think he gave about eight hours notice.

 

@jo1961 I don't find her very smaller or thiner than my (many) other SD girls. Of course she is more slim than Volks SD10 or SD13 but those bodies are quite large for 58cm SD girls.
Right now my Narae is sitting next to my Spiritdoll Proud girl body (66cm tall) and she is as large than the Spiritdoll.
Is there any particular size you'd want me to try on her? I own dollheart SD10 and SD13 clothes, as much as Supergem, souldoll zenith, fairyland clothes and so on.
Yes mine is tan skin. She is slightly lighter than Fairyland tan skin. And darker than souldoll sandy brown or elfdoll real skin.

 

Follow-the-Wind - Thank you for the reassurance. I only have Dollshe female bodies and Dreaming Doll bodies. I believe Dreaming Doll is 58cm. They wear most of my SD16 clothes, SID or EID Iplehouse or Freedom Teller clothing. All my guys are 70cm. Since my Dreaming Dolls look OK next to my 70cm guys - I guess Bimong's girl will work in the group too. I switch heads all the time on my doll bodies and I think my biggest concern was if my Iplehouse heads would look OK on this body - I have most size 8 or 7-8 female heads. Because this doll is so expensive - just wanted to make sure she will work with my other dolls. The clothing that fits her is smaller than most of the clothing I have but I have lots of doll clothes so surely I would find something that fits her. Too big is lots better than too small.

 

@jo1961 Well I'm not sure she can wear Iplehouse outfit. EID woman? It's a big no no. SID woman neither. I may try my SID clothes on my Narae, but I think it won't be very beautiful. You see Iplehouse girls have very wide soulders and often big breast.
SD16 may be too wide at the soulders too. I can give it a try.
Dollshe girls (and boy) are very tall BJD with very small heads (too tall and too small for my taste, that's why I own none of them).
Narae58 will be a little girl near a Dollshe ^^'

 

This is what I worry about as her body looks so very small but I love the pose-ability. Great posing is one reason why I love Dollshe's and that their new resin seems not to yellow. I have my 58cm girls with my Dollshe and 5th Motif boys and they look fine to me. *But then my sister is 4'11 and she married a 6'2" guy. I am rather accustom to that strange look.

I do not have any large bust female bodies and although I disapprove of how thin the model industry requires of their clothing models - I know why with my dolls. I think thin bodies look better in clothes.
*I have no Iplehouse bodies - just heads.
I guess I need a photo of Bimong's new girl with a 68-70cm boy.
*I have a special place in my heart for Bimong - I ordered my first bjd's in 2005 directly from Bimong - bank transfer. I had a long wait and he sent me extra items for the long wait. He is a kind and very talented artist.

 

I will try to get a comparison with a tall guy!

Zev01, I love your Dandelion. I still have two but my first one has yellowed badly - but evenly. & would never part with her.

 

I see art bimong put our 60cm girl up today. Please - someone put her beside a 69-70 cm doll.

 

New annoucement on Bimong's site says he expect the second batch of narae60 to ship mid-march. Also he's making further modifications to the body, it seems.

Hello! Does anyone know that Bimong's normal skin is compatible with Volks or Switch normal skin? (I just found a previous post about it. If anyone has another comment, please tell me) I really want to do a hybrid. That Narin body is so gorgeous! And How to do a layaway? I can't find any information about this option in the website.

 

Unfortunately I won't be able to help you with the hybrid questions.
But as for layaway here is the information from the last preorder.
But if you need a longer layaway I'm sure you can contact Bimong himself on Instagram,
he is very nice and friendly!

Too bad that I can't do a hybrid between Narin 65's body and SD17 heads.
Because this body requires a head that has neck circumference at 12 cm.
So my floating heads, which have neck circumference at 10.5 cm, can't put on this body.

BTW your Narae in light tan skin is really gorgeous! I am so tempted to buy Narin in this skin.
It is such a hard decision because the price is too high. I'm not sure which skin I would go for.

This might seem like a strange question, especially since the head is no longer listed on the website, but would a Bimong Moryo head be welcome in this thread? Or is this just for Narin/Narae? I wasn't sure he would fit here, but since he's by Bimong and in this size range, I thought I should ask. (And I have no idea where he would fit, since he seems really rare.) Sorry, I'm still rather new to the hobby.

 

If there isn't already a thread specifically for Moryo I would assume yes? As you said, same maker and same size

Narae, and I assume narin too, should ship in may.

He also said he would change the hip joint to be like narin's and that worries me a bit ._. I'm gonna lose aaaaall the pieces when I restring her!

 

Looks like bimong has quietly started selling some of heads again....

I wonder how long it would take to get just a heads. Of course then there's the hybrid question... And the do I really need another floating head/difficult hybrid question . I'd love to see pics of your narea 60s though, for drooling over

I might have missed it, but was Narin 609 modified? Sorry, I don't really follow Bimong's work, so I tried to search around. I vowed I would buy Charisma one day, but 609's lips look different, and I can't find any confirmation. If it's true, I'm really going to kick myself for continuously letting this guy fall to the side. I loved his lips! Thanks guys.

 

I have a Narin and another 60cm Narae body on order. I will try to post the new girls very soon!

He has been restoring the wear damage on the masters that occurs with long use. The heads he has on the site now are the grey sculptures and may get cleaned up a bit more. I have some older Charisma heads and I have a new N609 head on order. So when he is shipped in a few months, I can compare them.

 

I'm amazed by both Narin60 and Narae60 but I didn't order/preorder either. I was out of the hobby and came back to this masterpiece it was a shock é_è The amount of engineering in those joints! I wonder if it's a doll I could end up owning; the difficulty level seems soooo high!
@sahoma did you end up getting Narin or Narae? I'm so excited to see~

I'm hoping another preorder happens when I'm loaded so I can suddenly afford both, just for hybridizing purposes hehe

 

Thank you! I was wondering if it was due to the master mold. I will be on the lookout for comparisons in the future. I'm hoping I'll luck out and find a Charisma for sale, but thank you nonetheless.

I have a Narae but she is waiting to be painted! And I don't have a lot of SD sized clothing. But honestly, I love her the most when she is nude XD It's just so beautifully sculpted it's a shame to cover her up XD

 

How about a bikini or undies! They don't hide much!

 

Do you know what style you want for her? even if you keep her naked I assume you will put hair and eyes someday xD

@sahoma That is true....well I always thought of her as a secret agent type of person. Not necessary a secret agent! But kind of like mysterious. And she definitely has a short pixie cut, maybe even partially shaved.

 

I would like to see sooo bad a Narae and Narin 60 in real, they look so beautiful.
To the lucky owners of normal skin Narae/Narin, i'm looking to buy a Narin 609 head, but have no Idea on which body i could put his head, any ideas..?

I can't help you for a body for the Narin, because I still don't have my Narin. And my Narae is not in normal skin. Sorry!

I hope the new body will be finished soon. I have one on order and it will be arriving with my third 609 head! I have one from D-Storic and one from Art-Bimong which is currently on an old Soom body. All of mine are normal skin, but I do have the new Narae in tan. Here she is with Soom Aslan in tawny skin:

 

Wow Bimong light tan and soom tawny look really close! That's good to know!

 

The Aslan body is blushed. Narae's head is Art-Bimong's older light tan and is a bit darker than the newer body.

 

@Follow-the-Wind it's not a problem, i won't probably buy him this year, but i'm hurry to see a Narin on your hands, for sure.

Got my shipping notice this morning
Didn't get an email, but Bimong sent me a message on instagram & if I log-in on the site my order has updated. For those of you waiting who don't have instagram, it might be worth keeping an eye on the site

 

If you guys wanted the elf head it's going to take another month. Bimong emailed me this morning, and I've chosen to wait the month (we're in the middle of a hurricane and I don't want the package to get lost or damaged in the mail.) However, if you don't want the elf head he will send it with another one so you can get it this week or next week.

 

Bimong actually sent me my doll early and said that he would send the elf head to me when it is done! He's so sweet!!
Also if anyone is curious (even though no one asked) pinky white skin matches DIM normal incredibly close.

I know some pictures have been posted already, but if anyone has other comparison/group pictures of the new Narae with standard SD size males, I'd really appreciate it! I've got a dikadoll Abel on a 68 cm body ordered and I think they'll look fine together, but I'm still nervous for some reason!

 

I have a really silly question, it might have been asked before, but do you have to order head and body separately?
