    5. I would just be happy with them releasing more of the ones already created!!!! It's nearly impossible to find legit ones where their owners are looking to sell!! The doll is so lovely, no one wants to let them go :D I love making furniture and accessories for my boy! Has anyone ever restrung one? I am nervous about that prospect but I can see how much it needs doing!!!

    6. I hope SOom is reading this so they can introduce new face sculpt, I love my nappy and happy soo much. Also wish they come in diff. skin colors too. I displayed mine in a doll house :)

    8. Don't have any new pics of my nappy and happy but I have them in my flickr, click on chinadoll1 and go to my album and look for folder of nappy and happy :)

    10. @aureliaXaurita What pattern did you use to make his outfit? I am having a hard time sewing for this bottom heavy little guy! Its my daughter's first bjd and I can't get a sleeper right! I'm contemplating filing off his parts so she will just use dresses, lol!

    11. Oh my goodness! No need to go so far haha! I am actually quite unable to sew! However there are many many tutorials to be found, here is one from an online group I'm in for making a nappy https://www.facebook.com/groups/113849662123138/permalink/386379604870141/

      And here is one for a little dress for another doll size, simply add a strap at the back to extend the fit around. Pukifee/Littlefee-Iplehouse BID

      Baby boy will fit perfectly fine into lati and pukifee shorts and tee shirts, pants and long sleeves are too long. The clothes I have him in are made by Spampy( bonnet and nappy in green) and Gugu Moda (sleeperwith hood in tan and ivory)

    13. I know your pain! I am searching as well as I have every intention of owning the full nursery!! :D do be careful when buying second hand as many many recasts are out for their original nappy Choo, sweet baby Choo, hallow baby Choo, happy baby Choo, and PoPo! If they haven't got the coa or box or swaddle- don't trust it!!

    18. Oh my god he is my grail at this point :) I just love his face the most!! I have Dalang, and I also have a regular Nappy Choo now who is more or less ready to move on. The original sculpt never made me fall as hard as this one. I have a question, do you find that he is floppy at all? Both of mine were acquired many many owners passed down, and I think none of us ever knew how to restring! Have you ever done it, or felt the need to? Thank you so so so much for sharing!! I can't get enough of that face <3 <3

      As for floppiness, well, I don't feel the need to restring him. I don't think they're supposed to be super flexible, though, as it's an "infant" that barely sits/stands. Anyways, I also don't really play with him a lot, so I'm fine with any way he's stringed! :D

    21. That makes sense! I just have trouble with the head looking straight- it tends to dips all the way backward and expose the top of his neck hold D: lol totally unnerving when you get the two together for a pose and are about to snap a shot when BAM! Head does the exorcist thing :'D lolol and the other I just wish could stand better, I get a few moments before tip over. I have a Popo I recently found on hold! One step closer to my nursery >.< I am so happy!! One of these days I'll sort out how to put a stinking picture IN my thread and do a group shot <3 feel free to spam more of yours!!!! Totally enamored xD

    28. Thank you~ I made these patterns myself after many trials but the pants are totally wrong though. They look okay but not how they are traditionally done by Japanese and I still have a lot to learn. I have created some free patterns for Lati Yellow in the past but I never tried them on Nappy Choo yet. If I have time next week, I will test them out and share those patterns with everyone here.

    32. Loving all the Choo photos :) My little Nappy Choo is still waiting for a face-up and some love.....have had it for far too long in the box! I really MUST get it out and get it sorted. I love these little guys and girls :D I wonder why Soom don't have them up for order more often?? Seems strange when they're so popular.

      I have made the face up, the hair and the body blush. However that was a couple of years before and I had to live abroad for sometime. Now I am back in every way and this is my first post so... Hello again everybody!
      I would like your opinion, I am going to redo the face up, do you thing that I should open his nostrils? I am thinking also of the possibility of giving him for adoption. What would you suggest?

    35. He is adorable! I absolutely love the hair you did! Personally, I don't go for opening the nostrils. If you were going to sell, they are selling like hot cakes now. Just realize that you may not be able to find a replacement easily. It has been many years since they have sold them regularly.

    53. I see iMda has a new bebe body and one of the faces looks like Happy Choo Lili and it is named Lili. Then Soom has Nappy Choo available again for their 20th anniversary sale. So I’m trying to decide if I want the iMda bebe or one of the Soom Nappy Choo babies. I’ve always wanted Happy Choo Lili and a Nappy Choo but realized they were not available anymore but now both at once in a way, how do I choose?!

    54. I think Soom/Neo-angel Region has tapped into my brain. Strange series of events...
      I received an email notice from etsy that some items I had bought two and a half months ago finally came up for review.
      They were onesies I'd gotten for my Dream Valley Ding, originally designed for Nappy Choo.
      While I was on etsy I decided to see if there were any new outfits for Nappy Choo/Ding, and ended up ordering several.
      So I'm seeing all these cute Nappy Choos and thinking, maybe I should get one to share the clothes!
      I checked Soom and several other retailers, but I only saw some on ebay and forbidden sites so I gave up.
      A few hours later I do my usual DoA scroll and what do I see? A just-posted announcement from a Soom rep that Nappy Choos are up for preorder. :o
      The hard part was ordering just one.

    56. @spih, I don't see measurements on the site, surprisingly! But I've been buying Nappy Choo clothing for my Dream Valley Ding and he is 12 cm, so I imagine they are close.

      edit: Well, I just noticed there is a drop-down "additional information" that gives dimensions of
      27x16x6cm!
      So now I don't know what to think. I find it hard to believe they are 27cm tall.

      double edit: So now I found a googled page from Neo-angel Region that says Nappy Choo is 12cm.
      I doubt if they made a bigger version, especially with the price they are charging so I'm going to say 12cm is probably the correct size.

    57. Nappy Choo is 12cm, Happy Choo and the new iMda Bebe are 14cm. Same head size though. I’m leaning towards Nappy Choo because there seems to be a lot of cute clothes for them and I’m not sure what would fit the iMda Bebe.

    60. Thanks for the info about Nappy Choo size. I made some searches for owner pictures and found a couple that had a Nappy Choo together with a Lati Yellow or a Pukifee. The size appeared to work fine with those. Nappy Choo was shorter so the 12 cm height seems to be right. The weird dimension numbers are perhaps the box size.
