There just aren't enough Nelly's around! I caved and got one in the Junkyspot 10% off sale and I am not disappointed at all. Heck I wish I would have bought at least one more doll

So here's a crappy cellphone picture of my Nelly (Caroline) with her feline familiar Oliver (A Souldoll Ranbi)! She doesn't have her wig yet sadly, but I'm hoping to get it soon

 

I bought mine off ebay. o wo I was super happy. They offered free face up and free shipping. I only paid 130 something at the time. I do wish I didn't get white skin thou. Buuut over all. I'm happy.

 

Welp, your post just sealed the deal for me Aram_Kepley! I need Nelly in my life. I was going to get Verdin but Nelly's eyes are just perfect. Will update in like a week when I get her

 

My new girl Emma came in today snapped a quick picture after I finished making her dress and going to start on the wig tomorrow! She's so cute!!!

I have been checking these dolls out. I think I am in love.
I have never ordered a BJD any advise on the best place to get them. I have looked on ebay and find they have a larger selection than junkie spot but not
sure which sellers to trust.

Hi! ! am new to Mystic Kids Dolls and I just got a Venetta For my birthday. Her name is Hina Ichigo, she is supposed to be a character from a show called Rosen Maiden. I haven't made her outfit yet, but plan to very soon.

Hey everyone! I have a Nelly on the way and I'm so excite. She's my first YOSD. How old do you all think these little guys are supposed to be?

 

Eee! She's here! She's so cool. And tons prettier in person. Her proper wig may be showing up tomorrow or Wednesday but her clothes are going to take awhile. I put her in a Pullip dress for a minute. Looks cute from the front but wouldn't close in the back. Now I've got her in a slim MSD shirt from Wimukt. She swims in it but at least she's covered up. I'll take better pics of her when she's more presentable.

My boy arrived a while ago, but I still haven't gotten a wig for him, so as soon as I do I'll show you pictures.

 

Haha so much Nelly love it seems! She's next on my list to buy I'm reshelling Ciel's sister into a Nelly since Christina didn't really fit and I didn't bond with her.

 

I'm so in love with this doll, I want another! Her balance just amazes me!

Kristen is so lovely! I really like her chin and her sweet little mouth. Her little doll is perfect for her too :P I think I'll have to keep these lovelies in mind for my wish list.

 

I interested to order "Cris". He is veryyyy cuteeeee and I love MK's body.

His name is Ciel he'll have a new sister in a couple of months when I have the funds to drop on Nelly :3 Also, would anyone know how good a match Loongsoul White is to MK white? Just I need a body for a Loongsoul head and I prefer MK bodies.

 

Does anyone have any Christina picspam? She really charms me but I need to see owner photos to be sure.

I love her Neko Sherlock Holmes look but her fullset is rather expensive. Gah. Considering maybe getting her nude as an excuse to finally buy a yosd dress from Kuloft ^-^;;

 

I have a MK Vanetta and I find the sculpt very versatile! With her original faceup I saw her as maybe 10ish, but I've since wiped it and done my ownand I think she looks a few years older. Because their heads are so "tall" I feel like you have a bit of leeway to make them either kiddish or more mature.

Oooh and yes please to fullset photos of her outfit, if it's not too much trouble. Also, may I ask - did you get her with the fullset wig? The wig is such a beautiful colour with her skin and eyes, but I wasn't sure what the quality would be like. It looks a bit split-endy in the promo shots.

Julien is a very cute sculpt muharuka. I've had mine for a while and he's pretty damn spoiled :p I just wish I had better lighting to show off the gorgeous green eyes he came with.

 

I just found out about these cuties today. I really want one now XD. I need a Cris in my life! I need to stop looking at dolls, I already have a way too long wishlist...

I have a favor to ask from anyone who can help. I would like to see a color comparison between the Mystic Kids pink/normal skin and yellow/normal skin. My first doll is the pink/normal skin and I'd like to see the other color before I buy my second doll.

I've been debating on what to do with my little Ciel, but I think he's staying for the moment. I might suede his neck at some point because Mystic Kids YoSD's seem to have a habit of not wanting to look up, my old Christina always wanted to look down as well.

 

This thread is begging to be revived! Until I finish the outfits I'm working on and drag out my camera, I'd love someone to start a picture thread in the new sub-forum.

Does anyone have any favorite pattern sources? I've been adapting Adams Harris' Minifee things and trying to work with some Yo SD things but boy, what weird proportions everything is. My girls are smack in the middle of Minifee, Yo SD and somehow, a short Narae.

 

I got my Cris recently, he's so cute! Sadly I can't provide pictures right now but he's in my profile pic.

 

Hello...I'm in need of some assitance. I'm trying to find the measurements for Christina. I bought her second hand off ebay but I can't seem to find anything anywhere with her measurements. I can't really buy her clothes and such if I don't know roughly what they are. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

* width of shoulder : 6.5 cm

* Circumference of Hip: 14 cm
* Arm Length: 7.5 cm
* Leg Length : 9 cm
* Thigh Circumference : 8 cm

I found those measurements on the Alice's Collections site, and Alice is a dealer for Mystic Kids, I believe.

In terms of what she can wear, my Christina has been able to wear Volks and Luts YoSD stuff thus far.

 

Yes it does ;u; Someone also PM'd me that. I was also wondering what other company hands would work for her...I want to change them but I have no idea where to even start there...

 

It's looking kinda quiet in here, so here's some spam of my lovely little Ciel! I took this pic a while ago, and went a little overboard with the stickers, oops :P Also, can I request some pics of another Julien with 10mm and 12mm eyes please? I'm looking at getting new eyes for Ciel and can't really decide how much smaller I want to go.

Ooo, congrats! I had a Christine and she's a super cute girl, are you gonna go the fullset of get her blank?

 

I only a got the nude doll with faceup. I got her a red wig and a couple of the new Volks outfits they had on the reopened USA site.

 

I got my little girl today, but none of my clothes fit her! I have ordered a couple of outfits from Volks that should be fine for her though. All my other 26-27 cm dolls are super slim. I have a crochet dress that will do for now, and a pair of tennies. I have shoes coming from overseas that will go with her pretty new clothes, too.

The wig is a Glib in "carrot". It matches her eyebrows perfectly! This was a quickie photo, but I will post nicer ones soon.

As others have stated, the quality and posing ability of these dolls is amazing- especially for such a reasonable price! I can't wait to sew her some clothes, but that will have to wait until this school term is over.

 

Today I got my Volks order in the mail, and now my pretty Christina, whom I have named "Lola", has two lovely outfits all her own. I can see now why Volks items are a little pricey! You guys probably knew this, but the true YoSD clothes re perfect for the MK tinies! My pics are with flash in my cave room, but maybe I can take better ones in good lighting later.

On my screen, the color of the tie looks very red in the Volks pics, but it is more like a burgundy color in person.

 

Oooh, they look so good on her! I love Volks outfits, but the website has never worked for me so I tend to go to Dollheart or the secondhand market here for the fancier clothes.

I just put an order in a few days ago for a Cris head with the factory face-up and the MK girl body. I put together a little collage of most of the clothes I bought for her too. I think I'm going to name her Charlie. My plan is to build her a diorama this winter when I can't work on my garden. I'm picturing a stick house in the woods.
