I really love your Lillian, Shawnee. She is very pretty. I've been thinking about getting her or Verdin (i love that she has big eyes)

yea, i just can't figure out which ones I want more. I thought about buying the event bunnies also.

 

Does anyone know the wig or eye sizes for them?

 

i believe i read that they wear 7-8 size wigs

I was wondering about this. I think on junkyspot they are listed as a 7-8, but the measurements (17.5cm) seems to put them in the 6-7 range. I think I read that they have smallish heads for their bodies, so it probably depends on the wig. But a wig that's closer to 8 inches is going to be huge.

 

I have a 7-8 wig on my Francis and it's perfect with a wig cap under it. I was surprised because they do have pretty small heads, but as long as it's closer to 7 it should work.

 

I am considering buying one of these dolls during the event.

I have choose to get a 1/6 girl but I'm having a hard time figuring out if I want Christina or Verdin?
* 0* they both have big eyes, I love Verdin's slight smile but slightly dislike her eyebrows (they look like sad/worried eyebrows). I love Christian's lil paw tattoo, I don't really mind that she isn't smilin' thou.

 

So I finally got around to taking pictures of my Francis.

 

I love the 1/4 size dolls from Mystic Kids. I received Lillian a few weeks ago from the JunkySpot event and she's so gorgeous. Her tiny teeth are so sweet and subtle and when you notice them she just melts right into your heat. I definitely seem to be favoring her a lot more over my 5StarDoll. So much so that I ordered Caroline. And she was just delivered! I have to go and unbox her now. I would definitely recommend these to everyone. They seem really well made and the bodies are gorgeous and have a great weight to them. They do need an exact 7 (with a wigcap) size wig or smaller. The first wig I bought was labeled 7-8 and its more like 7.5 so it slides right off of her head even with a wig cap on.

 

I love Francis's sculpt so much. I actually ordered "him" on a girl body I think he's pretty enough to be a girl, and I really like the eye shape. I'm having a heck of a time finding the right wig though :\

 

I think he would definitely make a lovely girl, you'll have to post pictures when you get her.
For what it's worth I bought my boy's wig from formydoll.com The 7-8 fits well with a wig cap and there are a lot of cute styles. Shipping is really high though.

 

The wig I really want is from Luts. I've seen a few though. I'd like options, so I'm waiting for group orders rather than killing myself with shipping.

lately i've really loved Leeke's wigs. I bought one off ebay for my 1/4 girl that will be in sometime. I started to use it on my Yosd girls > w< and It makes really wanna buy some.
Also, Francis is adorable! >w <

 

I just ordered myself a Francis for the Autumn event through Junky Spot as well! He's just so darling, I knew my next doll purchase had to be him (especially since I don't have any boys yet). I'm going to get the Snowy event doll with him, and I also grabbed a Dollzone silver-blonde wig for him. From what I can see of Becs' photo, I think it would also be a good look for him!

 

Francis is actually my favorite boy sculpt!
And by the way, how do you order him in a girl body?

I am going to get Verdin yosd sized.
I am still trying to figure out if I want one of those bunny though.
Did anyone else order a bunny?

 

No bunnies here. Both of my girls were in stock so they each came with the free Nano Freya cats. I'm just not sure what to do with either of the cats. I never really gave much thought to collecting the animal dolls. (I know they have a specific name, I am just blanking at the moment.)

 

If any of the dolls I wanted were in stock I would probably just go with the kitty instead.
I'm not buying from Junkyspot though, I found a seller on ebay that sells yosd sized for 138 + 24 shipping with free face up and I can add a bunny for 25 still.
I'm just waiting until Thursday to buy since I get paid this Friday.

 

my boyfriend is going to get me natalia for christmas! im so excited, she will be my first bjd. im surprised, it seems no one has bought that sculpt because i haven't been able to find any pictures of her besides the company ones. but i will definitely be posting pictures of her as soon as i open her!

Yeah it kind of makes it difficult to decide what kind of wig to buy her because I haven't seen any modeled on her except the one!

 

I have yosd sizes and I have tons of wigs. I haven't found a wig that I would just leave on my two girls for good time. I love changing them all the time. > w<

Awesome! I liked Natalia a lot but she sold out so quickly during the Junky Spot event. I love my Lillian and Caroline though. I just don't have patience for pre-orders and overseas orders. The waiting makes me crazy.

Here is my Lillian (light hair) and my Caroline (dark hair). I'm not too sure about the dark wig for Caroline, it doesn't seem to suit her. Also, pardon my mess. Caroline was my fit model the other night when I was sewing.

 

Hi. I recently had been debating if I could go for Natalia or Caroline. I just had some hard time to decide though, I already found some Caroline owner pictures and she really looks very pretty. I originally intended to go for one bjd blank faced alone. So just wanted to let anyone think. Natalia is really cute but I can't decide at all because of Caroline's innocent face

 

That is a hard decision. I love my Caroline though, but she does look the youngest and most innocent. That's a tough decision! Good luck. Or get both!

 

I know. But I am looking for a mature sculpt. Caroline looks mature and I can't get both. I may could. I love both girls as well so since Caroline has owne pictures. I got to wait for Natalia's owner pic

aphtaiwan - I went through Alice's Collection (They have been so super helpful) and with them you can put in the order notes to order as a girl. I asked Junkyspot about it as well and they said they could probably do it too, it would just be a special order.

 

Do standard msd clothes fit them best?

Does anyone owns Natalia already?

 

Not really, I would say they are more they're more slim MSD. Smaller waist, small feet. It all really depends on the particular part of the body and the item of clothing. I've made some things using what was labeled a standard MSD pattern that were too big and I've made some Unoa patterns that fit in some places but were smaller/bigger in others. I definitely have to do some tailoring to get clothes to fit them.

She has my favorite face out of all of the 1/4 MK girls. She adapts well to any style (younger or mature) which is nice. I love my Caroline but I tend to make her look younger all the time because of her face, I don't think she's as versatile.

So, I have decided alrighty. I am really not a fan of Natalia at all for my conclusion. I also liked Lillian but I have decided that Illy looks very pretty as a a girl. I honestly like Francis more but seeing Illy makes me want to have himI am gonna order him as a girl

I just paid off my layaway with Alice's Collection for my girl francis. Has anyone else ordered their MK from them, or have others all gone through junky spot? Just wondering if anyone might have an idea of what my wait time might be ^_^

 

Can't wait to see your girl NoDivision. I am planning to buy Illy in girl body for that too. I wanted to make her look really sick and sweet at the same time. Did you order with faceup?

 

I got free faceup with the event. I plan on sending out for new faceup at some point but it will nice for her to arrive with something ^_^

does anyone here have a Doll-love mini and a mystic Kids mini? What's their differences? How do they pose? Do they have similar pink skin? I wanna put a DL girl on an MK body. MK seems more slimmer than Doll-love in general. Please do tell me

 

My Verdin got here a couple days ago and I decided to take some pictures of her with Dorian, my Francis.

 

It's hard to believe she's the same doll as Francis - it's amazing what a wig and new eyes can do! She told me her name is Verona ^_^

 

It really is incredible how different the same sculpt can look. She's lovely!

 

I ordered a Mystic Kids Lillian, and she's in the mail right now! Wooo! I plan on styling her as a Japanese ghost girl, and the big sister to my little Pukifee Luna ghost girl. I can't wait to share her with you all

Oh, I forgot to add, what size eyes would she take? I can't seem to find it anywhere

 

Well, I think it depends on how you like them to look. 12mm or 14mm would probably both work - I ordered 12mm for my boy but they aren't here yet so I don't know exactly how they'll fit.

Woo, I just found out she's in the US now and will probably get here for christmas! SO excited! She's my first girl doll (besides my tiny, but she's so tiny she's more like a little kid, not a woman!)

 

ah-hah! I knew Francis looks better as a girl! I am thinking of Illy as a girl but when I saw this I felt awed and suddenly try out for myself

 

I know I'm going to order a doll when I keep going back to them and MK's Francis is the one I've been going back to over and over again XD looks like I'm going to start planning to save money for him (I've bought enough dolls this year, so I'll have to wait until next year haha). =^-^= he's just so cute!
