Mystic Kids 1/4 Discussion

i ordered Gene in pinky skin from edendoll too (without face up), he´s going to be my first boy 1/4 doll
i thinks their scultps are lovelies, i like evenlyn too and i would like to buy her in the future

 

Mystic Kids are great! I ordered a Ellis and they shipped him in about 15 days. I've received him and he's lovely. I'm sure the 1/4 dollies are just as good~

 

Yep! Ordered him a face up, which made the shipping time even better. 8D His pose ability is quite good, he has no locking system in his torso or arms, so I needed to suede them there. Other than that, no complaints about his posing so far. xD

His resin colour is gorgeous, I got normal pink and it's a really nice subtle pink. Not too blinding. It's very smooth like most chinese bjds. I honestly hate the smooth resin but it's not a deal breaker for me in buying dolls. 8D Also, his resin is quite thick and sturdy. I didn't notice any thin bits.

i got my shipping notice today, yay!!!!
But it´s going to take a while, i choose registered airmail, maybe 3 more weeks of waiting (i hope so)

 

I received my Gene last night with faceup. He looks just like the company photos but his head a quite small and is more YoSD size than MSD size.

My Gene arrived today safetly!! i just love him so far, but he doesn´t have face up, i just want to do it but maybe i´ll just have to wait until week end
Another sad thing is i don´t have anything for him (at least he came with a pair of glass eyes), neither a name :´(

Not sure if there's still anyone visiting this thread. I purchased my Miri last night. There is something about her face that drew my attention and a voice started "I have to get her".

 

I found a lot of doll lovers don't like the mole under lillian lip. But personally I love that faceup. What do you guys think about this?

 

I don't like the mole. If I wanted a mole, I'd have it put on and in a different location. I'd like to know more about these dolls. Saw them only once on the website but intend to go back and look. such pretty faces.

 

Hi! I discovered these dolls today and I'm really liking the promopics! I think it's awesome that they offer a full-set with all of their dolls. The clothes seem super nice too and well made.

I'm especially interested in Miri and the 27 cm boy Cris (mentioning him here because it seems that there is no thread for Tiny Mystic Kids dolls :'c), he has such a cute face-up with freckles and all~
I'd like to know more about these dolls and if you happen to own them, please post more pics here! ^__^

 

I love Francis - such a sweet face - in fact they're all fairly gorgeous! Very pleased to see that Alices Collections are now a dealer for them too

 

I saw them on JS and they look really lovely! I love the height of the boys. If it weren't for the two-piece body, I'd probably spring for that instead of the AoD body for my floating head, but the two-part body kind of loses it for me, especially for $50 more. Ah well. I suppose I'll just have to keep my eye out for a character I need shelled that might work as a MK doll!
If anyone has an AOD boy and an MK boy or girl, would you mind posting height comparisons of them? I'm mildly curious, but not enough to make a thread in photo reference. :P

They really are lovely dolls, though. What kind of clothing do they wear? Slim or regular MSD?

 

I just saw these on the Junkyspot website. OMG they're so adorable. I'm already in love with several sculpts, but I think I'll get the 1:4 Sean first. He's too adorable. I'm glad to hear that the company is looking like a good one so far.

 

I just saw this brand on a box opening and just HAD to check them out. I think the Lillian sculpt is kinda similar to Unoa Lusis (perhaps it's something about the eyes). These dolls are very beautiful, but what I really want is the CLOTHES!

 

Hey everyone! Im really interested in buying a francis but ive been out of the doll loop for so long i dont know what kind of clothes to buy! Normally id just buy stuff from dollmore but he is bigger than the boys there so im unsure of what clothes to buy!!! Help would much be appreciated thanks!

 

I love Lillian and Natalia. But just can't choose between those two! Natalia had mature sculpt though than Lillian

 

aphtaiwan I love Natalia as well! and Lillian is no less gorgeous!! The first time I discovered MK I was so close for Natalia impulse purchase. *it did not happen though* Are you planning to get either one of them?

 

I love Lillian. Her lovely tooth is showing too! I am pretty bias and I go for her, yeap. I originally wanted a kid delf but end up getting either Natalia or Lillian :O

Up there ^ Someone said that Lillian reminds them of Unoa, I AGREE!!! That's what drew me towards her! I absolutely love Unoa's, but it's so hard for me to find one I want for a good price ;-; I got Lillian, and she is extraordinary

I just discovered Mystic Kids and the dolls look so wonderful imo! Francis and Illy are now on my wish list... If I could have just one of them I'd be happy.

But I was wondering, does anyone know if any dealers that carry MK offer layaway options? I know they're on Junky Spot, Eden Doll, and Alice's Collections, but I'm not sure if any of them have layaway...

 

I asked Alice's collections if they do layaway. I will inform you if I get the message

Sorry I couldn't be of any help. She has what Emory called "The junky spot" faceup because she didn't have the mole. But this is what she looks like without it:

No, I didn't. I ordered her from Junkyspot To be honest I'm not sure how she came without the mole. My only guess is Emory requested some of them without it!
