Today Buddy, the MYou Alan we have here received his clothes, wig and boots from Denver Doll. His outfit is called Christopher Out for Petite Slim 27 cm dolls, Ruby Red Galleria Side Lace Black Boots for Bleuette dolls and a Chicline 4-5 Wig called Karna in Lt. Brown. The wig needs to be trimmed, and he needs socks as the boots are a bit big, but not to bad. The outfit fits as was afraid the pants wouldn't snap shut but a bit of wiggling they did. Shirt that is long sleeved is a tad short but the short sleeved shirt is supposed to go over it so it works. The hat was stupid looking so it's for a pet or something later. The short sleeved shirt doesn't button. It is designed to be worn open.
Overall I would give outfit a B+

long time no post! I'm looking into getting one of the 17cm tinies and I'm wondering what size clothes the boys wear? mostly the pants. The body looks like a smaller version of the 30cm pear body. if anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it! and also spam any of the cuties cause I haven't decided which sculpt I want yet!

Huh. That outfit does look pretty good on him @animemom ! I saw a few other things on DDE that would fit the same size range; I might try some myself.

I'm currently working on a yarn wig for my boy, who still doesn't have a name yet (names are the hardest part!). Finding boyish 4-5" wigs is so hard! Still, I've been wanting to learn how to make my own wigs for a while now, so this gives me an excuse.

 

Hi again! I've been trying to find out what size bottoms fit the 17cm dolls. I've seen some posts mention that they can wear some standard lati yellow and the bottoms are covered up by tops for the most part so I can't tell. I've also found that lori doll and lottie doll clothes fit, buy with further research I haven't been able to find any clothing packs and my local store doesn't care the lines at all anymore. Do the lati yellow SP bottoms fit? Or realfee bottoms even?

Also, while I was trying to browse the thread some of the pages kept repeating previously read pages? Is this a glitch? I had to stop reading in the 20 somethings because I thought I was starting to go crazy, but like every third page was a repeated along with the next two... I'm on mobile, so... am I crazy???

Buddy got a couple of Blythe sized shirts from TTYA on Etsy and as you can see the sweatshirt is 3/4 length sleeve on him not long.

He's gorgeous animemom! I'm finding it extremely hard to resist getting an Alan of my own right now, because I have a million (OT) pre-orders waiting to be paid. Otherwise, I would have gotten him a while ago -- he looks super close to one of my grails that I'll never be able to get.

Are those his default eyes from MYou, or did you purchase those yourself? They look really nicely proportioned for him; I'm wondering if I should start looking for eyes for mine incase I'm lucky and they don't discontinue him before I can actually purchase him. DX

 

Silly question, but can you pull on the hands to remove them? Sorry I’m very inexperienced in disassembling dolls but I want to dress my Bettina but her hands don’t fit through the sleeve and I tried pulling the hands to expose the string so I can unhook the metal part of the hands but I can’t. Maybe I’m not pulling hard enough? I don’t get the mechanism.

 

Thanks for the tips nancy_schroeder_ca. I used a small vinyl paper clip and it worked! The problem is that the tiny metal hook holding the hand fell out of the metal rod inside the hand and it was a pain to hook it back inside the hand. Maybe I was doing it wrong but yeah not bad for my first time but wow are those metal things small and easy to lose!

 

I considered ordering Gina, but I saw the new Vieruodis girl today and she is cute too, it makes me a bit insecure... I think, she would be a great druid in tan skin

 

Ok so I had to take a look at this new Vieruodis doll, and OMG she is marvelous! I always wanted a tiny with elf ears. My bank account is in danger. I want to get a PS5 on launch day but now I want her too.

 

Does anyone own both a mature tiny and a 17cm kid? I was thinking of making a (sort of) family with them, and I was wondering if they fit together in terms of size and all that. Any pictures of them would be so greatly appreciated~

 

Wondering about resin colors - Is yellow, like normal yellow? Also, does anyone have photos of Coffee skin?

 

I am seriously tempted by the new Vieruodis. Can anyone with one of the more mature dolls confirm whether or not they can wear 8mm eyes?

 

@Leo Pheonix They can! The irises on standard 8mm eyes are a bit big on them, though. I have Volks acrylic 8mm in my boy (who still hasn't given me a name yet...). Here's an image of what it looks like. Don't mind the rushed photo and messy hair; I'm still in the middle of making his wig and it isn't fully trimmed or styled.


@sincerelypia I think the size difference works out OK depending on the proportions of the 17cm. The ones with larger heads might look a bit odd but I think body proportions affect that. I snagged a pic of my boy in a lineup with my tinies to get a sense of scale for you. From left to right: a Doll Leaves Bella, RamCube Wei, PukiPuki Pipi, and Souldoll Ranbi.

I agree with LilTigre! The bigger head tinies may look a bit silly with a small, delicate faced mature tiny doll...but that doesn't keep me from doing it.

So, I also have two MyouDoll 1/8ths now! I realised after the fact that Feng Linger has a head size much closer to iMda than to the later generation 1/8th I already have. oh well. Still cute.

I also don't have a mature tiny MyouDoll, but I do have the tiny Myou's...and Atelier Momoni Knita, who's similar in scale to the MyouDoll Alan. I think.

So, essentially, while I tend to take more photos of my Atelier Momoni with the Lati Whites (who have smaller heads), I do occasionally put my Atelier Momoni with group shots of the tiny toddlers anyway...

Hickory is such a cutie! I have been thinking about getting this sculpt for awhile myself. I got my first yoSD a few weeks ago (1/6 Carol) and for whatever reason I thought she'd be smaller Lol

 

@DollieLovex3 thank you and I felt the same when I got xiaobuding earlier this year. I was not prepared for the gigantic noggin! Lol

 

Exactly! I was so surprised when MYOU Carol could fit my MSD doll's wigs! (And some of their clothes/accessories). I honestly thought this was what the 'Big baby' size would be like...but knowing that they are even bigger I've taken them off my Wishlist.

I love your little Noe's mess of curly hair! I have Dudu on my list of wants if I ever decide to get a 17cm again, which I'm heavily considering but at the same time my Daizy was first shelled as a 1/8 from Aimerai and I reshelled her into a 1/6 since I like that size better.

 

Your daisy is the absolute cutest!!! Ive had my eye on Nina ever since I got my first 27cm girl. This is my first time seeing her in the tan skin, now I want her in tan for sure!

Did anyone else order a Vieruodis? I finally ordered mine in Coffee when it was on sale. Also to let you guys know, 3.5cm shoes from Nymphodisiac on Etsy fit MYOU 28 cm dolls really well and the seller has elvish looking boots.

 

Thanks for the tip! I purchased some recently from Ebay and if it wasn't for the Mary Jane style strap and socks, theres no way they'd stay on her tiny feet.

 

Had a question about the sleeping heads - the listing says they're "half sleeping" but the eyes look completely closed in the promos. Is this true, or is there a little bit of eye visible?

 

They have a full sleeping and half sleeping of some of the heads. Like for example, Lorina; half and full. I don't have any of their sleeping heads but based on those pics I'd say both at least have a small slit. Promo pics with faceups have lashes that may be covering the slit though.
