    2. Trying to keep my triplets in semi-matching outfits made me realize I don't have as much yosd clothes as I thought I did. :sweat Also I paid for their faceups so they'll be shipping off next week to be worked on. :XD:

    3. Congrats to everyone on their new precious ones. I've seen so much cute lately~! (Also it seems I really need a Xiaobuding. I adore that sculpt so much.)

We also had a little arrival here thanks to @Iri_Nes (♡) chipping in for me. I love her so much already even though she's so fiddly and tiny and I'm so uncoordinated. I'm still working on finding her a name. Any suggestions?

I've also been contemplating on reshelling my 30cm boy and girl on the 27cm body just to make shopping for them easier. However everytime I hold them I'm like 'Nope. Not happening. The cute is too strong.' X3

Guess I'll just have to work harder on learning how to sew and being less lazy searching out premades that do fit them. I look forward to it either way.

    4. I'm totally in love with these 1/8 cuties - already got my eye on another :XD:.
I'm finding it easy to make clothes and accessories for them although, I think I would struggle to do a face up.
I've gone with a tree theme for my doll names and have called mine Myrtle.
Do you have names for your other dolls?

I don't have any advice regarding the 30cm bodies - having not having seen them in the flesh yet, although if you can hold on until I get mine I will be making clothes and am happy to help out with outfits/sewing advice.

    5. Also, meant to say. I love the way she is posing in this picture. Is she standing on her own?
I am struggling to get my tiny to stand without support.

    6. My 30cm Lorina is named Elliot as a placeholder but my DouDou and Fenglinger remain nameless so far. Their names will come sooner or later~♡

As for my tiny girl who was posing, she can certainly stand on her own. In fact she's a master of disaster waiting to happen and she does it all better than my Pukifee and Tiny Delf. The latter are better at general posing due to being double-jointed but these ball-joints make for some fun times.

Feel free to check out some poses I did with her over here on my Instagram. There's no trickery involved whatsoever, just careful balancing.

    7. Wow, she is so much better at posing than my Tangtang. Maybe mine needs restringing?

I notice you have a Tiny Delf and Pukifee too - would you be interested in trying out some free handmade clothes? I am hoping to make some to sell from my own patterns and just want to check how they would fit on other roughly 1/8 dolls.

    8. I love using yosd as children to SD, and my Myou triplets belong to these two (both parents are Luts). All of these doll are in some way still under construction but the dad is probably the furthest along. But here's Myou 27cm compared to a 58cm and a 71cm if anyone was curious.

    9. Bumping to spam these cuties (Nuannuan & Rourou) What do you think?

    11. So cute. I am really tempted to get another one to keep my Tangtang company.

    12. Oh I love her @kimlouiseb! That carriage filled with stuffed toys is just perfect :)

      • x 1
    13. She's adorable! I have Taotao who looks very similar!

Does anyone know why they changed and made the heads larger? (like Lati, size 5/6 wig). Which do you prefer the smaller head or current larger one?

      • x 2
    14. Thats interesting - I didn't know they had changed the heads. She is my first BJD as I am new to the hobby, and loving it!

    15. @kimlouiseb: "Thats interesting - I didn't know they had changed the heads. She is my first BJD as I am new to the hobby, and loving it!"

Yes, look at my Nuannuan & Rourou photo right before yours, that's when they enlarged them :)

    16. I actually like the larger heads. Gives them a more endearing, child-like look. Did they just make all of them have larger heads or are certain ones still smaller?

      • x 1
    17. I'm not sure but I was referring to the 1/8 dolls. The first two sets have the smaller heads and the current set has the bigger ones. I prefer the smaller head just because it's more proportioned.

    18. There are so few 4/5 wigs, especially with different color options that I am glad they now fit 5/6 like Lati Yellow or Pukifee. Those two brands have huge followings so the wig options are always improving and expanding.

      • x 1
    19. My triplets have returned from the faceup artist and their wigs also arrived!
Ami, Nikko, and Nen are mostly done. All that's left is that they need new eyes and more matching shoes. :whee:

    20. Leeza~Kat: Even though I prefer the smaller heads, I found the wigs were never quite the right size..4...4-1/2, so I am in agreement with you that this is better for ease and consistency!

    21. Cap'n: What cuties they are! Great job on the face ups and overall styling! I like the one on the right eye color.

    22. Anyone found Silvia and her half sleeping version too cute to resist?

    23. I love the sleeping one!! I have no more room, so that dismisses all ideas.

    24. I wouldn't mind checking the fit for you on a Pukifee, Tiny Delf, Realfee, ... Let me know if it's still needed. ^-^

I just noticed people saying they enlarged the heads on their 1/8th line? I think my Fenglinger is one of the earlier versions in that case because her head is so tiny. I love it though despite her being a pain to find a proper wig for. My Pukifee/Tiny Delf wigs don't fit her at all, not even close.

On that note I recently received some clothing for my Elliot and he looks so adorable, my little pastel boy. Remind me to take a picture and edit it in when I get home. He still needs a face-up but I've had so little time lately.

I just got Silvia in white skin today from BJDivas. I was able to find an iplehouse kid outfit for her. I’m in love!

    26. She's so cute. I love the grey wig on her.

    27. Can I ask how long she took to arrive?

    28. She was in stock so very quickly. I am waiting for a Lorina from junkyspot now, they just got a lot of myou dolls in stock. I’ve never ordered directly from the company but on junkyspot’s website they said that they had waited a long time for them.

    29. I brought my Tangtang from Junkyspot a few months ago. I am tempted to get another of the smaller scale ones from them but they are all normal skin colour and I would like a different tone.

    30. Your triplets are so very adorable together~♡ I can't possible decide who I love most.

Sam, you're such a cutie pie. You look beautiful in that dress. Love the way you've styled them. Can I just say that I love the little dress as well. Cute fabric, matching buttons and a good fit. I'm so jelly. Great job!

Ah, white skin is great~! Sylvia looks stunning. I really love their sculpting. Congratulations on your little girl.

    31. @Siara Thank you <3 Sam dows look great in red and browns!

    32. I am going to order another Myou tiny even though I know it will take a while to get here. They have a 15% discount on at the moment and a special offer where you can buy an extra head (for $36) when you buy a doll.
I'm actually going to order directly with them this time - I've sent them a few emails and they've responded really quickly and been helpful.

@Siara I am still working on making clothes and refining patterns for 1/8 scale. As soon as I have got a set I am happy with I will send them to you so you can try then on your tiny crew.

I'm at home today with a lurgy (i'm a teacher but no Covid symptoms luckily) so having a good dolly browse to cheer me up.

    33. For sure, I love redheads and freckles so much. I wonder why none of my dolls have them yet. Sam pulls it off so well.

Hope you feel better soon ^__^ I've noticed the event as well. I've been so tempted to order more resin too...maybe it's a good thing I can't decide between another 1/8th or 1/6th...

      • x 1
    34. Omg I didn't know they were having a head event too! I wonder if I can jump on someone else's order then to get a head because I really want a Myou head for a spare body for a hyrbid but I don't think they sell the 1/6 heads separately.

Edit: Also where did you see the extra head event posted? I can't seen to find it. :?

    35. Its pinned to the top of their Facebook page as part of the new line announcement.

    36. Does anyone happen to have one of the sculpts with the smaller head (like Sybil or Ziyan) and one of the biggest headed babies? I only have the larger headed ones but am currently eyeing Sybil, but I don't know if he would look out of place with the others all bigger headed. >.<

    37. I have an MYOU Bettina on the way. I ordered her with the 3 part torso, small chest and face paint only. She is presented to customs as of now so if everything goes right she should be here by this week or the next one. I took a chance and ordered some iMda 2.6 and Momonita shoes for her because they have similar foot length (3.5 cm) but have yet to receive them. It's going to be a challenge to find out what clothing would work for her. I am sewing a dress for her according to an iMda 3.0 pattern. Really curious how it's all going to fit.

    38. [IMG]
Here's a photo of my Bettina who arrived on Friday (more on my instagram).:) She's my first BJD! It doesn't really show in pictures but her company face-up is sparkly! She has exceeded my expectations and at first I was afraid to touch and move her but she's not as fragile as I imagined. Mine is a bit kicky though but I'm not confident enough to disassemble her yet. Also good news, the iMda 2.6 shoes fit! The iMda 3.0 dress I made her was too long and wide in the sleeves so I just shorten them significantly. It fits her without her bra on. She's wearing an 11cm wig by natrume with a wig cap and it stays in place. That's about it!

    39. My Nina finally shipped! This is the longest I've ever waited from Myou since I had ordered her around June 1st. But she's on the way so I'm happy. :3nodding:

      @Calust
Adorable girl! Seeing all the newer slim tinies is making me want one. :XD:

    40. She is very sweet. I like her outfit.

Still waiting for my Myou order which was placed in the first week of August. I'm hoping it will be here by Christmas.

    41. I feel like the pictures of their skin tones really don't do them justice! In videos as well as in person, all of the colors look kind of different!

    42. I decided to get a Myou Alan from Junky Spot. I have been wanting a BJD for my dolls that I could find clothes for easy enough. I am having my doubts about the latter. While he is close to Ken doll measurements with a few tweaks most people make the clothes for Ken, not this guy. So I may have to buy patterns. I haven't sewn doll clothes in decades.
Anyone have a favorite Etsy seller for clothes or patterns?

Thanks and looking forward to sharing him here.

    43. 100% agree, they definitely look different in person. I've owned MYOU Normal Yellow and Normal Pink. The NY is a lot more yellow than you'd think, and the NP is very pale/white.

    44. Does anyone have Carol on a 27/30cm body?
I am tempted by JunkySpot's new stock but can't find any owner pics of her around.

    45. I was curious too, but I think she is too new. I ordered her and should receive this week from Junkyspot. Curiosity got the best of me. :)

    46. Can Gina or Bettina wear 8mm eyes? Or do only 9mm work?

    47. MYou boy is here and he is definitely a slender fellow. A couple of people told me he is like a Blythe doll so I ordered a couple of shirts from TTYA. Didn't think pants would work, so still need to find a pattern as his leg length is longer I think and his hips are bigger I think then Blythe so guess I am sewing for him.

He is temporarily wearing clothes for my LTF sized kids.

    48. @animemom I did try a couple of Blythe cotton clothes on my Bettina and her shoulders are too wide so the clothes can’t snap in the back. I don’t know about Alan’s measurements, if they’re similar to Bettina in the shoulders. I guess it depends on the style, but the clothes I tried on her looked a little loose on Blythe so I figured that they would fit but they didn’t.

    49. Ooh would love to see photos when she arrives.

    50. Thank you for info. I did order stuff in Blythe size and if it doesn't work I will try the littlefee size instead. I can sew the backs up. I also ordered some things from Denver Doll as the measurements of the doll it was made for is very close to Buddy's size.

    51. What doll were they made for?

      • x 1
    52. @animemom He is tall, slim and very handsome. Good luck finding clothes. He would be fun to see for.

I will post photos of Cathy soon. Her face up is not as soft as company photos but looks pretty.

    53. Resinsoul tiny measuring 30cm tall. It should arrive Monday. Will share photo of him in it.

    54. I just got an Alan myself, and I knew clothing would be a challenge, but not this much of one! Ah well, most of my dolls have size issues like that, haha. (The pear-shaped MYou big babies are even harder to clothe...)

I went through a bunch of my fashion doll clothes and found a few things. There was a doll line called Liv about ten years ago that had a single boy doll in it- the pants from that doll are a perfect fit. The pants are almost impossible to find on the second-hand market, though. The other clothes are easier to find on eBay or Etsy. (The boy shirts are a bit baggy but long enough. The girl shirts fit well, but they bare the midriff a bit. Girl pants only work if the doll stands, as sitting down immediately bares the booty.) Ken clothes from about 6~8 years ago also fit pretty well, if a bit baggy. Creatable World shirts and pants are snug fits, but - again - bare the midriff.

I was curious about the Resinsoul-fit clothes myself! Do let us know how they fit. If they fit well enough, I'll have to buy my boy some.

    55. Hello!
It's been a really long time since I've posted here. I've lurked for quite awhile. But I'm trying to get better at taking pictures of my girls. So here are my twin Silvias. Their names are Christmas (purple hair) and Mint (green hair).

    56. Hello ! I'm finally able to post !

    57. She is adorable.
She is one I have had my eye on but there are not many owner pictures of her around.
