My Dudu came yesterday from JS and I just have to share a pic. I like him a lot - he poses well and I think he is even more adorable in person. He has super-long eyelashes, which I may trim a little bit if I can get up the courage. The wig he has on is just temporary because his own wigs are still in transit. I don't have much for clothing for him so far, apart from a romper that I sewed before his arrival. He actually can wear some Barbie t-shirts and capris (as pants) and a riding jacket from an 8-inch Breyer doll fits him perfectly.

@Hmac58 , he looks great! I'm sure he's glad to be home. I'd love to see him in that riding jacket. What kind of wigs did you order?

 

Thanks @phanuel. I'm really enjoying him. He seems to naturally fall into cute poses. I ordered 3 wigs from Facets Boutique - Johnny, Bob, and Red in differing shades of blonde. I like him as a blonde in his MYou website photos. If I don't like any of these on him, I'll try to make him a hard-cap wig. I've made some long wigs for other dolls but I've never made a short-hair wig. It could be fun!

@Hmac58 , that's a spiffy jacket! Let me know how the wigs work out. I had some wigs on hand that I had ordered from Migidoll for my Cynical Baby Teddy--5-5.5 inch--because no other wigs were fitting him properly. Turns out they also look great on Dudu. He's wearing one in the photo on the previous page.
So I ordered two more which just arrived today! Kind of a surprise because they were having trouble shipping them due to the virus situation. But I'm glad they're here.
The problem with these small dolls is that some wigs may fit the "skull" but the hair is too poufy. So far, the Migidoll ones have been just right, but I haven't found them anywhere else but the Migidoll site.

 

@phanuel, thanks for the tip on wigs from Migidoll. I really like the one on Dudu on the previous page. I know what you mean about many wigs looking too "poufy" and I think it's especially a problem on these tiny boys with short hair. Two of the three wigs that I ordered from Facets are not the look I wanted for Dudu. they overwhelm his sweet little face. I think that part of the problem is that I ordered size 5/6 and I should have chosen size 4/5. The third wig is closer to the look of the Migidoll wig, in that it is sleeker looking, but I need to give it a trim. I'm waiting for some thinning shears from Amazon, then I'll give the little guy a haircut
I'm going to check out the Migidoll site. Good to know that they are shipping, at least to USA.

 

@Hmac58 , you know, I went back to look at the Migidoll wigs and they only have two short ones left! All the ones I ordered are gone. Do they only carry one of each?!
I think you have to stay under 6 inches. I got one on Oobie Doll that is 5.75 and it fits well too. It's very curly, as opposed to puffy, but a good fit.

@Hmac58 , looking at Migidoll again and, although they only have two short styles left, they are available in different colors.
Also, The Doll Peddlar has the same wig my doll is wearing in the previous picture, page 42.

 

By the way, if anyone does decide to order anything from Migidoll, wait for the invoice from them before you pay. I paid through PayPal right away, using their email and then received an invoice. I got it straightened out fairly easily but, next time, I will certainly wait for them to contact me with their invoice.

 

What is their shipping cost like, @phanuel?

So I attempted that Barbie "hack" where you make a swimsuit out of a ballon on my Gina. It worked...sort of.

It came out far too...sexy. Maybe a slightly bigger ballon would work better...

Also, could anyone post pics of Feng Linger? I'm seriously thinking about getting her.

Uh oh I have fallen in love with Myou 1/6 doudou girl, but I would love to know if anyone has her in coffee resin? I believe this will suit her... tempted to take the plunge! They seem to be excellent quality, nice packaging and full set clothing looks wonderful...

 

I will soon I hope have MYou Coffee resin boy and girl as I have 2 Little Rebel heads that need those bodies to match the resin as close as possible. I have never had a MYou body so I will definitely post photos and a review once they arrive. Hopefully you will hear from others with dolls in hand.

 

I have yo's from at least 5 different companies and I have to say I love the weight and resin feel of the MYou bodies. Their posing is good! The balance is nice and I was able to get my pear shaped girl to stand right out of the box. The tan body i have has beautiful coloring throughout, none of the marbling that other companies see. I can't wait to see the coffee tone! It's on my wish list.

 

Hello! Dropping in! I just recieved my xiaobuding on the 30cm body today. So exciting and his size is not what I was expecting. Anyway, I feel stupid for thinking that he'd wear yosd sized pants and low and behold, they don't fit. Could anyone point me in the direction of bottom sizes that fit? I'd really appreciate it!

 

Congratulations Zavrinas! Pretty please share some photos of your Xiaobuding? ^__^ I look forward to seeing more of him. I'm currently thinking about ordering a little friend for my Lorina and he's one of the sculpts on the list. :3

To be honest I've had YOSD pants fit them before but it's always a gamble. Stretchy fabrics are your friend. I know many people also use MSD-sized pants with some adjustments. I've been borrowing some clothing made for Lati Green and other 30cm dolls and those seem to work. I also used casual MDD clothing on my Lorina (no pants yet) and so far so good.

Speaking of which, she/he is still blank but beautiful. I'm still figuring out their character but I love playing with them a lot. Here's a little photo.



I really love the beautiful glow the white skin has. It makes me hesitant to try out the other skin tones but curiosity will probably win out. Sculpts are so hard to pick out as well, they're all incredibly adorable. I look forward to seeing more cuties here.

My little guy's name is Braythe and he's the nephew of one of my bigger dolls, Sylvester (SDF65 Gray). I'm completely smitten with Braythe and so glad I snatched him up when I found he was in stock at Junky Spot. He's in the normal skin tone and has that glow to him too.



I've had Myou dolls on my want list, but for the msds and I'm so glad I decided to get a Xiaobuding instead of another company. He has the company faceup that I totally had every intention of wiping and giving him a matching faceup with his uncle, but he's just too adorable as is!! If I had to complain it's that there wasn't a lot of gloss on his lips. He's super sturdy too! I thought delfs were sturdy and hefty, this little guy beats them hands down! Speaking of delfs, Braythe totally stole Macadamia's (hdf madeleine) fox pillow toy. lol

 

My two MYOU Special 28 cm bodies, one with small breasts in "normal" and one with large in normal yellow, came in recently. I made an unboxing video, in case anyone finds it helpful:

My 30cm Doudou wears mostly msd shorts. I've found rRabbit to be some of the best since quite a few of them have elastic in the waist along the back. The overall shorts I have from there also have resizeable straps so they fit him perfectly without having to permanently adjust them!

Also since we're showing off Xiabuddings, here's my bunny boy whom is waiting his other two siblings that I just received shipping notice for. I ordered another Xiabudding in coffee and a Delia in coffee for his siblings, plus a Nina in tan for their cousin. All are 27cm and all but the Nina are blank.

@Zavrinas Your little Braythe is adorable ^__^ Does he get along well with his uncle? I also hope he returned the little fox to Macadamia afterwards.

@Cap'n Your little ones are absolutely darling. If you ever find the time I'd love an elaborate comparison between the 27cm and 30cm bodies. I currently own only the 30cm bodies and while I love them so much I sometimes find the limited poseability annoying for photography purposes.

Unfortunately I missed out on an auction because the time frame totally slipped my mind and it was in the middle of the night. I'm still mad at myself for that. However, someone was kind enough to offer their neglected little one up for sale instead.

Hence meet my new girl, she's a Doudou in normal pink skin with the company face-up. I originally wanted another white skinned baby because my boy (the one on the right) needs his twin sister but fate decided otherwise. Not sure how I'll tie them in together yet or if they'll even exist in the same universe but she's adorable.

The pink skin totally looks like normal skin in real life. I thought the seller made some kind of mistake. However when photographing her together with other dolls you get a pinkish hue. It's impressive really. I'm a fan of the color.

I'm also in trouble because I totally want more of these little guys and girls now...

I actually took some quick comparison pics to show someone before and I just threw them up here if ya wanna check them out. I only have the two boys atm but have a couple female 27cm on the way. Surprisingly the hands are different! And the headcaps seem to be interchangeable, at least for Doudou and Xiabudding.

 

@Siara Thank you. Yes, he does get along with his Uncle and haha no he hasn't given it back to Macadamia. I'll probably have to make another one for him so that he will.

I am loving seeing these pictures of the Myou 30cm dolls. They are so adorable.
I have Yvonne on the way but not expecting her anytime soon.
Because the wait seemed so long I have ordered a 1/8 Tangtang from Junkyspot - hoping she will be here in the next week or so. Very excited, she will be my first BJD!

 

@Cap'n Ah! Thank you so much for the photos~♡ It's a shame the pear bodies don't generally fit into standard 1/6th clothing. I own several Littlefee as well, who are known to be one of the best (if not best) posers in the 1/6th line-up and I still prefer playing around with the ball-jointed Myou bodies more. Do you have a preference between the 27cm and the 30cm yourself?

@Zavrinas That sounds like a great idea. I'd hate to see little Macadamia throw a fit or cry. And I'm sure Braythe would love a new toy just for himself ^__^

@kimlouiseb I look forward to seeing your little ones arrive. Surely you won't be dissapointed by the cuteness. I can't wait to see your little TangTang as well, there's just not enough information about the tiniest babies.

I've found quite a few msd shorts to fit my pear boy. Plus 1/6 pumpkin bloomers usually fit as well. As for preference, I actually like them both but for different reasons. The 27cm is fun to pose but the 30cm is just so adorable. XD

 

Excuse the double post but my Myou babies are in my state and set to be delivered this week! Tracking had been saying today as the delivery date but as of last night the status changed to arriving late. I'm so excited!

I am still waiting for my 17cm Tangtang from Junkspot. According to tracking she has been stuck in an airport for almost two weeks now. I'm in the UK but was still hoping she would be further in her journey by now.

 

Oh noes! Shipping has been terrible lately. I actually doubt mine will be delivered today because it's already passed 5am and it hasn't showed to be moved any closer to me. It's been 4 hours away for two days.
In total I'm getting Xiabudding, Delia, and Nina, all in 27cm. But I actually don't know if this wiIl be all of them. I ordered two from AC and then the third a week later also from AC but on layaway so I wouldn't miss the sale (ordered her on the last day). Paid off my layaway in a week but the last one doesn't show up on my AC account info so I have no idea if they put her in with the other two. I really hope they did. >.<

 

I'm so excited for the both of you! I hope TangTang, Xiaobuding, Delia and Nina all come home soon. Please share loads of pictures of your little darlings~♡

I ordered a wig and a few clothing pieces for my Lorina who's going to be a boy but it seems like it'll be atleast a month before anything arrives home. I hate the waiting part in this hobby so much sometimes. I don't mind waiting for resin but the other items? Ugh...

Welp my triplets are finally all here! Their wigs are still stuck in France so the ones shown are temporary. The heads will be sent off for faceups hopefully in a week or two. But I love them all already. Meet Nen, Ami, and Nikko!

 

They are so cute together. I love their outfits too.

Can I ask where you ordered them from and how long it took for them to arrive?

All three are from Alices Collections. I ordered one at first and he shipped in a little over a month but was stuck in transit for even longer than that. The other two I ordered at the same time and they shipped in about two and a half months and arrived in less than two weeks. Myou has pretty fast production times. :>

My Tangtang from Junkyspot is now in my country so hoping she won't be too much longer.

 

Has anyone here changed out the hands on their Myou 27cm? I'm honestly not a big fan of them. I like the 30cm hands much better but I don't think you can buy just the hands from Myou and my little ones are in coffee so finding a match might be challenging.

Edit: Ok so apparently Myou does in fact sell their 30cm hands based on their website. I'm emailing AC about if they can be ordered through them. Next option is asking Clover Singing.

She's adorable! Is that her default company faceup? Lorina is on my wishlist but I'm undecided if I want her blank or not.

 

@Hmac58 Thank you so much! I tried to use items I just had laying around when putting it together.

@Cap'n Thank you!! That is her default faceup, though if I remember correctly, I requested the blushing be toned down a bit. The faceup is even more beautiful in person (her lips have very fine detail lines my camera doesn't pick up very well, and white line of her teeth is very even). The only things I would note are that her eyebrows are very light so she can only wear wigs a tiny bit darker than the one I have on her without it looking strange, and she does have some green blushing on the outer corners of her eyeshadow. It would look gorgeous with green eyes, though it's not perfect for the blue ones I chose.
I can take a close up for you if you'd like, though it's also visible in the company photos.

 

So many cool dolls! I just ordered a blank Bettina through Alice’s Collections a few days ago. She and Gina were some of the only mature tinies I could find that weren’t weirdly baby-faced. Not a fan of the “yoSD with boobs” look.

And now the waiting begins...

Thank you! The dress was a freebie that came with my Pukifee Mio (Harper). I used to really dislike it, but it just looks so cute on Sam!
