Can someone measure the Myou wind or other boy sculpt to tell me if the measurements online are correct that they are in fact 45cm? I have the Wind on my wish list but I need to check his height for story purposes. Thanks in advance.

@thessalyrose I'll try to do some pics tomorrow with American Girl clothes, but I kinda doubt they will fit. The slim 18" doll clothes may work, though... I have a few magic attic outfits too, I can try.

 

I measure Wind at 44.5 cm without a wig.

 

Thanks Nemeith. I am waiting for a sale or a review on the 3 part torso. I like the look of 2 part but wonder if it would be too limiting. I don't have my dolls in many poses but I do like a nice sitting pose.

Nancy, Does your Wind have 2 or 3 part body? You may have told me but I forgot. :P

Hey guys! Not sure if this question belongs here but it is rather specific to MYou dolls so I'm still gonna ask here. I've got a question for the MYou doll owners, especially those who own one that is tan or coffee.
Some time ago I've tried to spray my MYou doll Wind head with MSC, after it dried I saw white patches on the head. I tried to clean it but that didn't fix it. Now I'm stuck with a head that has white patches and I believe the only solution is to lightly sand the head. Did anyone have the same problem?

 

MSC will ghost on darker colors. You might find more help in the workshop.

 

So that's something common! At first I thought something might have been wrong with the resin. Alright, will check it out! thanks for the help

 

Hello.
I am still new to the BJD community (ordered my first two dolls but they still aren't here).
I randomly found the Myou-Doll Delia and am totally in love with her. I'm wondering if anyone has pictures of her in tan skin yet?
Also, the dress they show her in is just so gorgeous - but the sites I've been on don't list it for sale, am I just not looking on the right website(s)?

MYou finds some great dresses but they never offer them for sale.You might ask one of the sellers if they can find out if the dress is available.

 

Does anyone have a comparison of Luts white with MYou white? Picture, or just first hand observation is fine. Thanks!

I saw this and I had to answer. Yesterday, I got my Myou doll Zimo. He's a 45cm and I love him. He poses very well, he is well made, and his resin is smooth. He's NS, but matches my 2 Migidoll boys, who are both WS, almost perfectly. You can tell there is a bit more of a peachy color to him, but it's not too yellow or too pink. I would definitely buy another, no hesitation.

 

Nianer and I didn't wait until Christmas for our new dollies: )

Thanks for nice comments on Nianer Her dress is one of many I made that was too big for the MSD I had but fits her so I need to get them all out and finished up, and I think her dollie came from Soom for the Imdas.

 

I bought an instock Myou Ailsa from Junkyspot a little while ago as a dyeing project. I'm pretty happy with how she turned out

 

She's gorgeous. The dye along with the makeup makes such a beautiful combination of colors. I feel like she belongs under the sea

 

The purple dye is beautiful with face up and wig. I am still tempted to order Delia but need to see real pictures first.

Nianer is very pretty. I am so glad to see not all the dolls have a heavy blush.

I'm still waiting for my shipping notice since I've been told that the doll was ready last week. No update so far, so I guess they'll ship her after the holidays.

 

Oh good a Delia on the way! Which resin did you order Nemeith? I planned on WS since Nancy's girls are so pretty but after Sybil came from JS in PS I asked for PS. No news about her yet though so realy looking forward to seeing yours

@bajib I ordered her in normal skin ^^ I can't wait to get her, the wait is hard when the only update you get after 8 weeks of wait is "Ready to delivery".

I just received my Delia, she's adorable. but both ankles broke during the travel The box opening pictures not ready yet, since I had to take some of the damages and send them asap...

Update: I posted the pictures on my flickr. I'll do a box opening thread later tonight.

@Oliveoil I ordered the doll from Dollmix. They told me they would pass the message and picture to the company so it will take a while to hear back from both because of the holidays.

@whisperwolf Yeah, it's a bit disappointing. I was having so much fun taking pics of the unboxing until I started unwrapping the legs. Now, I'm just hoping for news about those replacements parts. I can't wait to try to take more poses with my Delia.

I unstrung her for now, she was way too tight.One of her feet s-hook even bent because of that.

 

I caved and bought Delia normal resin from Junkyspot. I am so pleased.

I ordered her through Kok(?) She was on sale with free face up and shipping and Ebay bucks so I couldn't resist but I'm thinking JS is so much easier and quicker.

Personally I've a MYD Wind in NS and he is just so cute.... I'm just crazy about him. I ordered him because he was a favorite and I'm really not disappointed !



I like especially 45cm sculpts in this compagny (Wind, Delia, Ailsa, Vera, Arthur, etc...).
