Ahhh, I can't believe a new V2 body just came out!! I had a feeling that they might release one since their 30cm/yosds got a similar treatment. Seems like my hunch was right. Too bad I couldn't order it for my Delia, though, but I can always save getting her the new body another time. I definitely plan to, since I wanna give my lil lady plenty of posing options for when I do advanced photoshoots with her~

 

@Tagath I took some photos a while ago and can take some better ones tomorrow (I'm visiting my parents at the moment). My minifee Sylvia head lives on a Myou v2 boy body in normal. I have a SD girl body on the normal pink. I can also take some pictures comparing older Fairyland normal because I have an older Feeple60 gal.

There doesn't seem to be a huge difference between normal and normal pink... I guess either way, I'll have to do some blushing.

It'll be a problem for another time though, because Macarena is just too pretty so I'm getting her in coffee skin and in fullset. My poor minifee will have to wait a while for a body

 

Oh no, the one thing that has been keeping from purchasing a myou has been rectified...

Now I just have to figure out if I want Basil or Chasel as the face sculpt...

 

Oh heck yeah, that v2.5 body is fantastic.
I was planning a myou body for my wol head and now I think I know exactly what body I am getting lol.

 

@Tagath It's actually a touch more dramatic in person, but I really wish I knew the year of my Normal body. I have no idea how much/little he's yellowed. Fairyland seems to have a darker skin color in general, and it's definitely more pink. My hybrid works for me because my guy is so covered up, but I can see why it wouldn't work for others.

There's a pretty stark difference between my two Fairyland resins, but I feel like I can't quite capture it in a photo. I'll try for daylight photos soon. It just gets dark so dang early and I work all day.

 

So I have a Basil on the Ver2 male body and I am having a HELL of a time clothing him. He is just so tall and emancipated skinny. Even minifee sized clothing doesn't fit. He's way too tall for it. Does anyone have a Ver2 boy and know what clothing they can wear? Currently I have mine in a YoSD yakuta as a top and I pinned a pair of msd shorts around his hips. I'm highly considering getting him a body from a different company at this point. His head is also much smaller than I thought because I was coming into thinking he was more on par with a Myou 1/6 which have 7-8" head sizes. Basil has an even smaller head than all 5 of my Myou 1/6 and he looks so weird with them.

 

Thelatest Myou 1/6 dolls have snaller heads.

 

The older ones do too actually, such as Sibyl. Basil, Sibyl, and the two new ones all have 17cm heads. I thought about putting my Basil head on a 1/6 body but unfortunately it looks awful imo due to his head shape. :/

I'm curious about that wierd elongated body. I haven't seen many actual owner photos of it.

re heads, most of my msd dolls have 6-7 inch heads. Seems to be the standard for slim msd while the older child-like style ones tend toward 7-8. Sounds like Myou' yosd have biiiiig heads lol. I only have like.. one yosd doll (impldoll) and she has a 5-6 inch head.

 

@Cap'n My guy wears very baggy clothing. They're a bit larger than standard slim msd, and made by kiwininamori on Instagram. But he's a druid/seer type so he doesn't need fitted clothes. I don't know any standard size that would fit since his legs are so long! I once had him in stretchy minifee footed leggings, but they would slip down and expose his behind too often.

@purple_monkfish He is EXTREMELY long. I love it for my particular character, but he's really strangely proportioned.

He has a 6-7 head, but is a hybrid, but the body is on topic for this thread so...Noodle boy

 

anyone know how I could buy a separate head with a faceup? I want to put a teresa head on a minifee body, so I'm hoping the whites are a good match and the proportions are ok lol

 

there's no harm in just asking. if you go through acbjd for example, you can email them and they're usually pretty quick to answer! Or you can email myoudoll directly. I think I had emailed them once about buying just clothes, and they'd answered pretty fast too.

 

Guys, how do You like Myou hand parts? Are they elegant enough?

 

Honestly, the hands aren't particularly elegant. I'd say they they're the weakest part of the body, aesthetically speaking.

I coincidentally have 2 df-h bodies in different colors and 2 Myou dolls in different colors so I took pics for you:

In this picture: Dfh body in normal yellow skin, myou white skin on top, myou normal skin at bottom. Latter is very good match I think!

I have DFH mormal pink and Myou Normal pink and will try to do a comparison this afternoon.

 

Hahaha!! Ok, this all made me laugh as I ordered Ling Wei in normal pink and DFH hands in normal pink from New Clover-Singing just a few hours ago, with wild hopes they'd be a close enough match. I literally couldn't fall asleep till 2 am last night trying to decide if I should just go for it or not. I'm excited to see your comparision!

I also like what I've seen about the Magic Time hands; I feel like they're almost as dynamic as DFH. No idea how well they'd match up with Myou Doll, though.

The headcap by her arm arrived a few months ago and the one by her leg arrived just a few days ago.

 

Anyone know of any jointed hands that work for these cuties? I've got a Lingwei on order in normal resin and would love to get some jointed hands for her if possible.

When Dolk had those Sakura themed dolls they had them wear Dika Doll jointed hands for the promo pics, so maybe those would work.

I honestly think they’re quite static looking and they’re my least favorite part of Myou sculpts sadly

 

I have returned with a hybrid option idea for those that, like me, don't like the super skinny male noodle body.
This is a (Coffee) Myou Basil head on a (WS) Luts Kid Delf male classic type body.

Proportion wise, he looks great and the neck fits perfect! I also tried him on a Luts Model Delf male, Fairyland Minifee male, and Dollmore Kid body and those all looked bad for one reason or another. Mainly because the neck is too long or too big.

I also have Luts Brown and it's not an exact match to Myou but it's good enough for me. So I now have another body to add to my wishlist.

Does anyone else have issues with girls on the type II new bodies not being able to sit up on their own? I think that's the body my Michelle is on, and she just slides backwards every time, sometimes even when she's propped up with things. Is this something sueding would fix?

 

I must admit I didn't try how well/badly she sits before but as I already sueded my Delia (because the upper leg-ball joints were annoying me by making her legs flaily and floppy) and she sits perfectly fine now so I'd say sueding might help.

Myou released a new girl today, Daisy. I adore her facial features Really lovely fullset, now I'm looking forward to spring again! Not so sure about the horns though..

 

I love her dress! The doll is cute, too, but not so much that I want her. I wonder if they'd sell the dress separately.

 

I really like that new girl too. Myou has been killing it with these msd releases! As usual I'd like to wait to see owner pics though. Thankfully Myou doesn't run on limited released.

Hello there. Did you get the 2 or 3 part body? I got the 3 part body and it sits really amazingly! I didnt know if I would use the bottom part much but gosh it is a game changer.

 

I'm at work at the moment so I can't verify but I'm pretty sure she has the three part body. It's absolutely a lovely body, way better than the original v2 body was, but I'm maybe a bit spoiled by other bodies I have so I keep comparing its posing abilities to those and it kind of pales compared to some of them. Aesthetically it's one of my absolute favorites though, the shape is gorgeous. ❤️

 

Ah yeah you just pop out the middle torso and push it back then she sits way better haha for me anyway I also ended up Sueding her!
