Thank you so much for the reply. The Unoa head is almost the same size as the fairyland heads. My Unoa is in WS skin so skin matches are pretty easy. I really like the proportions of the Myou body but does the Minifee head have a lot of mobility? I have found that some hybrid you cannot move their heads.

 

@KaramiahS Minifees have a neck mechanism so i installed it on the myou body and didnt notice any difference with her normal body in terms of neck mobility.

@KaramiahS Honestly they really do, I regret now i traded my Sircca, she would have been perfect for this body!

 

I love Sircca she is one of my favorite fairyland sculpts. I have the 2018 Halloween Event head (Human Hwayu) I have been putting off getting her a body because I really don't like the single jointed knees on the fairyland bodies. I was going to buy one and make a new knee joint but I definitely prefer the atheistic of the Myou body, not to mention the price. Lol. It was a very pleasant surprise to see your minifee.

 

@KaramiahS To be honest with you i think Hwayu might not work perfectly with this body, it is very kardashian esque so it needs a more mature face imo Also the head looks very very proportionate. I tried ria as well and she looked better than alicia

 

I think Hwayu will be fine I have seen pictures were she look very mature when painted, but to make sure I like it I am going to order the body first for my Unoa then I can try it without committing to it for Hwayu. Thank you

 

I was wondering if any Myou MSD doll owner could try this for me?
I really love my doll (I decided to have just one doll and have been sticking solid with this idea for 2 years now) but I find her hands to be so.... boring! Like, no expressive hands whatsoever. So, I was wondering if someone could try on other dolls hands on a Myou MSD and see if it fits? I’d love to try this before giving up on her entirely and purchasing another doll just because of the hands.

Actually, the last doll I bought was from Loongsoul and it took five months, so that doesn't sound too awful. Not fun, of course, but tolerable. Anyone seen any DIM/Myou hybrids?

 

Can anyone tell me if the myou boy body ver 01 that is the three part body, is there a notch or any sort of locking feature for the lower torso joint?

My new Myou Arthur arrived last week. OH WOW I love my Delia but this new 3 part double jointed body that I ordered for Arthur is incredible, Yes he has the classic Myou Squeak when you move him but he is forgiven. Still silky smooth resin, wow he is skinny!!! but the posablility is incredible, the new style peanut joints give him complete posablilty. He can touch anywhere on his face and head, not just in the general area as other bodies have had.

I am in love with this doll, beatuiful sculpt. He will be posing for sketching practice as well as being a companion to the other dolls and their stories.
I purchased the normal colour but notice he is whiter than the Delia that was ordered in July last year and arrived in the winter. I ordered Arthur end of January from Angelesque and he arrived last day of May.

Myou MSD 1/4 size Dou Dou. Please does anyone have the MSD size of this sculpt? I'd love to see some owner pictures, she has just become a wish list doll.

Will be BFF for Delia sculpt. Does anyone know if 1/4 size DouDou would be available in the V3 girl body with the super posable joints? These joints were even better than the classic double jointed peanuts that were in Delia, I have just had Myou Arthur arrive with the V2 boy body n to get those joints for girls seems to be V3.

Still super silky smooth Myou resin, absolutely delighted with him (Arthur).

I know this 1/4 Dou Dou was only available from last April, but can only find makers photos so far. Would like to see her in 'at home' style of casual dress too.

The long neck bothered me and finding clothes to fit was not easy but she has a cute face.

 

Has anyone here ever contacted MYOU? I tried contacting them over the last couple of months on ordering heeled feet, but I haven't heard anything back from them.

It was almost an year ago, but I wrote to this mail, and the answer was immediate

 

I bought Myou doll body-1 1/4 in this spring and I want to say that I was surprised. Good quality, good mobility, without any smell.

 

I have not problem with Myou contact, only in Chinese Spring festival. They made order during one month after Festival and answered to all my questions.

 

Any recent photos of Ling Wei? Thinking about jumping on this sale, but hoping to see some photos with more wig options.

 

Hello ladies and gents. I second the question just above me. I've been dormant in the BJD world for a few years, all my dolls packed away. I resurfaced briefly to take a peak at what was new and I have fallen for 3 molds and I'm DEAD and I WANT them.

I adore the Ling Wei sculpt. If anyone has owner pictures of the version 2 fullset that would be great. Is the only difference between 1 and 2 the skin color in the official pictures and the fullset clothes? Because the molds look very much the same to me?

Just wanted to pop in here to see if anyone got Martha at all? I read that some of you have already got the Ver 3 body but haven't been able to find very many photos of her. I'm interested to see her outside of her stock photos. I have an Ailsa on the Ver 2 body which I love. She feels incredibly solid. But now I'm interested in Martha but my concern is how difficult it would be to find clothes for that super slim Ver 3 body. Can those who have this body shed some light on the clothing situation? Thank you.

 

Hi! I’m new to the thread, because I just bought a secondhand Martha on the ver 3 body. She should be here sometime this week, I’ll be happy to take photos for you. I currently have a slew of Volks SDC girls and a Harucasting Maji so I have a lot of MSD sized clothing to try on her. I even have a couple pairs of pants meant for Minifee but based on her measurements I’m pretty sure they’ll be a no-go. The previous owner has assured me that regular MSD clothes should fit just right. I’ll report back when I can

 

@RamenDoodles That would be great if you have the time to take some photos of your Martha. Congratulations on the new doll! Her body looks so slim that I'm unsure if she would fit a lot of clothing I have here as female clothing here is mostly Minifee size.

 

Love her, such a cutie, how are you finding the posing/standing alone on v3?
I love my Delia on v1, double jointed and very stable
Arthur on boy body v2 is super skiny very posable but not stable to stand or leave un attended. He mostly sits so its not a big deal and you can put his hand to anywhere on his face or head which is great for drawing him.

As promised, I took several comparison photos with other dolls. A couple of my photos didn't turn out, oops. But I made an album on Flickr of just the comparison photos if you'd like to take a look, here. Fair warning, there is some dollie nudity.

What I'm finding so far is that the 1/4 Girl Body-3 is indeed slimmer than regular MSD but not as slim as say, Minifee. Her torso is SO long. Adds to the dancer-ness But MSD clothes do generally fit alright. She's just a little tricky. Oh! And her feet are definitely more Minifee-esque than MSD. I don't currently have any shoes that actually fit her, as all mine are straight MSD size which are way too wide. She's currently borrowing a pair of socks from my Harucasting Maji, they both seem to have about the same size/shape foot.

If you have any requests I'm more than happy to take more photos, just ask n_n

 

@RamenDoodles Thank you so much for taking the time to post your comparison photos. I also took a look at the ones you had up on your flickr. That gives a great indication of her slimness compared to your other two dolls. And I was very surprised that MSD clothing doesn't look too bad on her. That helped a lot.

 

Here's a photo of my Martha. I wanted to give her a sickly look and with her gentle smile I think it turned out even better than I expected. She has the version 3 body which is really slender and pretty. I am satisfied with how she poses but as she's my first doll I can't really compare it to others.

She arrived surprisingly fast, I placed the order at the end of March and received her at the beginning of June.

 

I was wondering if anyone has the coffee and tanned skins? and Carr? I keep thinking him as my next doll to get and be the pet of the other doll I have on order. There's not too many pictures of these skins and Carr. So I'm hoping someone here can help with that a bit more.

 

@Pooki - Here is Starstone in the coffee resin (the Wind sculpt with the Carr faceup). The guy beside him is a hybrid but it is a myou body in normal resin. This is bluish white lighting that my phone tries to correct to yellow for reference. I might be able to get you a coffee versus tan resin comparison over the weekend.

 

Thank you for the photo! I'd love to see the comparison if possible! Also getting a different face up on Carr? It looks really nice I may have to do that by looking at the other face ups since Carr's default isnt quite what I want

 

@Pooki - I didn't like the Wind default faceup so I just asked the dealer if it was possible to switch. I would say the only problem was the artist recreated it exactly instead of accounting for the differences in the sculpt. So he has a thick shadow line for his mouth even though he doesn't need it, the Carr sculpt mouth is more open so it would look better on that head to have a thicker shadow line. But I still like it better than if he had gotten the default Wind faceup.

 

I'll def ask my dealer when the time comes I think they could be able to do it since Myou is pretty good about doing this kind of stuff as well. I like Carr's default face up a lot compared to the other 45cm doll's so If its possible to change up the face up to another doll of a different size then this might work a lot better thank you for the info once more. The biggest thing which is the challenge is "how will it look on their tan skin and how well will it support my addition to it" since I gotta add an extra bit to the face up for the character but I'm not that good at face ups at this point of what i want for the doll.

Ling Wei caught my eye as i'm a big Decopunk fan and thought she might make a good Decopunk flapper or rising starlet. I ordered her in November and she's arrived already! Seems Myou have really been shortening their production time recently as I was not expecting her to be done and shipped in under 2 months as I ordered her with the face up.

I know some people were curious about what the company face up looked like with different eyes from the promo photos. She did arrive with brown eyes that had sparkle pupils like the promo so i've switched them to normal looking Mako eyes.So here's what it looks like with white skin.


I decided to order her with the V3 body as i'm planning on an android character using a Souldoll head and thought the skinny body might suit the character so I can do a body share.My other Myou bodies are V1s so I was wondering if anyone wanted me to do some comparison photos with the V1 and V3 girl bodies? Let me know if there's anything you particularly want to see!

Two places I know have a good selection of wigs.

Monique wigs, the monique gold collection series (they are made of synthetic mohair, softer and thinner fibres than standard synthetic wigs) are for bjds. Size 6-7 is the best fit for Wind (I have him and these wigs) as monique gold wigs are very stretchy and 7-8 is too big. This is the company site but you can find other shops selling them.

Leekeworld also has a large selection of synthetic wigs. Their sizing can vary depending on which company made the wig (some of the art wigs for example, I got one that was labelled 6-7 but in reality it was more of a 6). I can see when I get home if my leekeworld 6-7 fits Wind sculpt or not, if not then 7-8 in leekeworld might be better.

Yes, 7-8" is the usual size my Myous take. My fave wig company is For My Doll, their wigs are great quality and the shipping is low too. I also like Luts and Crobi doll wigs for their good quality but the shipping is higher so I tend to only order when I have big enough order to justify the shipping
