Omg, you guys, I did not realize how big her...assets really are until I tried something with clevage on her. This outfit is just something I got for fun and I tried it on multiple dolls. After trying it on some of my fairies I was like, you know which doll I haven't handled in a while? Zuzana! And then I suddenly had this. I even had a blond wig that matches the whole thing. I think I'll stick with this for a while because it amuses me XD.

I see that Myou offers ver 3 body, and all the comparisons I see are about 1 and 2 ver. Anyone had pleasure to test out version 3 body and could tell which one of them is the best?

 

@DaisyJane Thanks for the video! This is the exact information I came here hoping to get. I have a Delia on the way and I wanted to know if she fit minifee clothes or more standard msd clothes. This is my first (fully human 1/4) girl and I realized I have zero clothes for her, I want her to wear pretty dresses and all I have is jeans and t-shirts for my boys.

 

Hi, popping in with a question. I plan to get the version 2 boy body for a floating head I have, but I want to get him jointed hands. I was wondering if anyone with this body would be willing to measure the wrist circumference? I'd really appreciate it

 

Just finally got around to ordering the new Myou v2 body for my Minifee Soony! I meant to order it during the Spring event but whoops ^^; I've been eyeing this body for a long time for a potential hybrid, not sure when the double joints came out, but I am really glad they updated it.

 

I was thinking of using that body for a hybrid too! But I'm not sure if its a skin tone match yet. Do you know if it's environmental resin or more traditional solid one?

 

I will be painting my Soony so I am not worried about the resin match. I find Myou doll's "normal" resins too pale, so coffee is pretty much perfect! Painting heads makes resin matches and all that jazz just takes a lot of the frustration and cross-referencing so much easier, IMO, lol! As far as I am aware, Myou is a solid resin and not translucent at all, though

 

I have heard a lot of people say that but unfortunately i really like the companys faceup for the head. Sounds like blushing the whole body to match better will be a lot of work

What do you think of the new MSD girl, Dietrich? With that name, I was surprised she was a girl. I think her outfit and sweet face are absolutely gorgeous, and I was tempted by the event, but no. I ordered Ling Wei this month and I don't need another doll just yet.

 

I love her little fangs! Myou has events pretty often so I’m not getting her now but she’s going on my wishlist for sure.

 

Dietrich name reminds me of "Marlena Dietrich" so It feels very much "a girl". I like her painted but blank sculpt doesn't look that inspiring, very much gives me "I saw this face somewhere" vibe.

 

@DaisyJane did you get a chance to play around with your Myou body joints? I'm contemplating a purchase but Myou is new to me. I'm curious if that 3rd joint in the torso is worth getting, if there is much if any movement in it (I have a body from someone different with an irrelevant joint...just doesn't offer much other than anothe seam to hide with clothes....)

Any other opinions on the 3 part torso vs the 2 part torso?

I concur that the third joint actually does things. As far as posing goes, though, the number one body is still the best in that regard. Torso joints are roughly the same, but the legs especially can do more. I think the only edge the newer bodies have are hand movement ,because the ver. 2 new body at least has a discrete ball between hand and arm which helps. But that I think could be fixed by getting the new hands only. They fit just as well on the ver. 1 body.

Also, I wish to spam my Macarena here. I'm considering adding a bit more color to her face. I do want to keep that pale redhead look but I think she looks a bit washed out. Maybe I want to wait until her intended eyes are here, but...maybe I'll do it this week-end.

I also want to improve Zuzana a bit so she'll be her best self when her younger sister, Sakura Zuzana, gets here...
Who I'm very nervous about on account of Dolkus' reputation. On the other hand my first in stock order went fine...regardless I won't feel at ease until I have a tracking number in hand. Which won't happen too soon, because week-end

Has anyone gotten a Daisy or Teresa with company faceup? Really wanna see what the faceups look like in owner pics.

 

This is my first bjd, but i got the Lingwei in NS with faceup in body 2 new version and I am very satisfied. Her faceup is stunning and her resin is super smooth. If you like curvy bodies, the version 2 new is definitely a good option because the posability is good and it looks amazing. I ordered mine less than 2 months ago from acbjd, and she came strung fairly tightly. Im not going to mess with her strings yet in case the strings loosen up a bit over time. I wanted to make this post because i dont think ive seen much people with lingwei and her company faceup. I love dolls that look happy, and her little smile is so adorable. The only thing i didnt love was that her face had a lot of tiny glitters on it but i was able to lightly brush some off. I think its just was the faceup is supposed to have, but you cant really see it in pictures.

 

Hello there! After... Years and years of inactivity I am coming back to the hobby and my pick of a doll to start with just so happens to be Daisy on a ver. III body. And so I've got a couple of questions: 1) looking at measurements alone, am I right to think that Minifee clothes should fit the body well enough? 2) alice's collection clothing seems a tad big for this body, but I might be mistaken. Anyone can offer some feedback?

Since I will be ordering her through ACBJD I don't want her to be completely naked while I clothes shop for her properly.

 

@LittleProblem Minifee clothing will be too short, even if it fits otherwise, The height difference is significant. Aside from that...Alice's Collections offers clothing from different shops, they also vary in fit.
If it's just about not having her naked, may I recommend something?

It fit my 45cm ResinSould girl (who is my slimmest BJD of that height), it ought to work for the ver 3 body, too.

 

On one hand, things sure would be boring if every doll fit the same sized clothing. On the other hand, may the sizing struggles disappear into the fiery depths of hell, lol.

I went with something similar, a looser outfit in parts where even if it's not a perfect fit, I can figure something out until I either get my butt to sewing once I have her in my grubby paws, or find out where can I nab clothing that fits. All else fails, she can sit ther

Either way, no face-up Daisy in normal skin, body 3 large bust and a small pile of assorted goodies has been ordered and paid for. Having gone out of the doll loop years ago I sold my previous stuff off, although I have found a single floating pink acrylic eyeball in a drawer. Spooky.

Now I wait for a while, yohooo!

 

What size wig do you all use for your MYou dolls? I just got the Leekeworld wig I ordered for my doll-in-waiting and... it doesn't fit on either of my dolls who have similar head sizes. It's a 6/7" wig which I chose because the 7/8" wig from Leekeworld I have for Rin is noticeably too big on her (needs a silicone head cap). Argh. I'd rather not order it up a size up but the colour (navy black) is absolutely perfect and not one I could find anywhere else - is there a way to "let out" a wig?

I'm spoiled because Sloane's wig is from Dearmine so was made for her head perfectly...

 

If the wig has a stretchy cap wig elestic you can make some small cuts in the elastic at the back. One cut up then one down to easy it a bit.

 

@LittleProblem Oh, yeah, if you order the large bust then looser or stretchy clothes are a must. MyouDoll aren't kidding when they call it "large"! Minifee can't compete with that

@helmud both of my girls wear 7/8" wigs (from different brands). I have one 6/7" wig from Leekeworld and that fits like you'd expect from that size (my Rens wears it). Could still work though? If the problem is that it slips off due to being tight you could keep it on with velcro dots. That works for one doll of mine who has a super slippery wig.

 

@EagleVision1999 oh yeah, I am fully expecting some serious boobage on my little princess. Let the waiting commence, and hope the customs somehow overlook my package!

Hmm, I probably just got the wrong size (would not be the first time, lol). Wigs slipping off like that is my pet peeve, but in this case I haven't even been able to get the wig on my girls' heads enough to do that. But they're not the doll it's intended for so... maybe it will be a little easier once the new doll gets here.

 

I’ve run into this problem occasionally with other companies dolls (especially the big ol’ noggins of some Volks) and what I do is to slit the elastic at the back and sew a little extension piece of elastic in there. Works like a charm. It’s so hard to find the perfect color and style of wig, and once you do you sometimes just have to make it work!

I should redo her face-up since then it'll be easier to match with the regular version and because it has chipped a little on her nose. :') she was supposed to be blonde but like all the dolls I have actual plans for she had her own plans instead and rejected mine and now she has dark hair instead.

 

She ‘s really pretty. I’ve always had a soft spot for dolls with sleeping eyes. They have such a quiet presence about them, like they’re deep in thought or contemplation. With her lovely dark lashes I can understand why she refused your attempts to make her a blonde. She certainly makes a stunning brunette!

 

I'm so excited since tomorrow is finally the day I can place my order for Teresa (full set )!
However I am still pondering which of the body versions I should order. Any last minute recommendations? If not I will probably go with "New Body Ver.II".

 

@Miusong It depends on wether you prefer posing or the look of the body. The ver. 1 body is the best at posing, it's very stable and more effective mobility joints in the thighs. It's also easier to make it sit. Ver. 2 new body looks prettier and poses decently, it's a bit harder to have it sit, it's a little bit kicky and the mobility joints don't allow for the doll to draw her knees to her chest, like the ver. 1 body does.
It's a matter of preference, I have both and I like both.

 

After a lengthy layaway (darn budgets anyway) my lovely Macarena fullset has finally arrived. I’m absolutely awestruck! She’s everything I’d dreamed she’d be from the first moment I first laid eyes on this sculpt. I just had to get her fullset because it was positively amazing and perfect for my character as a rosary keeper. I’ve named her Rosarie (not surprisingly.) She is my first MYou doll, and her new 3-part body was certainly a delightful surprise…the resin is so smooth and the joints are so fluid in the way they move. This girl just easily flows into any position I put her into, and when I absent-mindedly set her aside while I straightened up her display area, I then glanced over and she was already in the perfect kneeling position I was wanting to display her in all on her own. Yep, amazing indeed!

 

Question: what do you guys do for finding shoes?? I thought Minifees were hard to find shoes for, but I ordered Ling Wei on a type 3 body, and her feet are so narrow!

Thirding the question, lol. I would also like to ask what size wig cap and wig would be best for MYou MSD girls. Their site says the head circumferences are 17cm, so about 6.7 inches. I feel like a 6-7 inch wig would be too small, but a 7-8 inch would be a bit big. Can anyone weigh in?

Also, my Ling Wei arrived yesterday! I got the type 1 body, small bust, white skin and I really love the extra mobility. She's sitting up on my shelf and I keep glancing up to admire her.

 

I own a Delia and a Michelle, and both gals' heads have an 18cm circumference. So size-wise I've been using 7-8 inch wigs from brands Salafina and MSire, if that helps any. My first yosd (not Myou) has a 17.5cm head and she can wear the same 7-8 wigs just fine, with maybe some slight slipping if i tug on the wig too hard. Nothing that a silicone cap can't solve, however

 

Daisy fits into the 7-8 wig I got her well too so probably the best size to go with.

 

Does anyone have any examples of myou's normal pink resin? Is it 'light pink' or more 'white with a pinky hue to it'? ^^;
When my myou v2 new body comes in, I plan on testing my souldoll moa on it... I know my mnf Soony will get that body, but I am considering either a body in coffee for moa too, or maybe a normal pink body for her...

I'm fine with resin matching, but I haven't found too many myou doll resin comparisons to get any solid ideas for the color.

I have some other contender bodies for Moa, but I do think Myou doll has the most promise right now.

 

@Epona the pink skin is more of a light pink. With flash on it can look super pink, but in-person it's more of a softer pink that can look peach at times. The red undertone is there, but it's not as harsh unless you really mess around with lighting.

Well, it will be a while because I have to save up, but I’ve decided my next doll is going to be Dietrich! She is so beautiful, I love her faceup and her little fangs. I have been wanting a doll with white skin and I’ve heard MYOU’s white is gorgeous so I’m excited for that. It will be my first full set, those clothes are so detailed and delicate, I can’t wait to see them in person. Stalking these threads so I can know everything I can before buying. I dislike to aesthetics of the version 1 body and prefer the II new, but I think I will end up going with the III because of her being a vampire. The version III body has little ribs and I think the leanness looks good for a vampire doll.
I’m seeing that minifee clothes don’t fit but what about minifee shoes? I want to get the heeled feet for her and get her some sexy heels to go with her vampire look (the full set shoes look a little clunky to me) but I’m not sure what sizing would work. I look at measurements but sometimes that doesn’t seem to matter!

I’m new to the hobby and my only doll is an MYOU 1/6 Gina, and I adore her, but I want something bigger! Dietrich is a grail doll for me, I know for most they are more expensive but for me $400 is a lot of money. So I’m hoping I’ll be able to order her around New Years! Here’s hoping, scrimping, and saving!

@cozycaffeine I can certainly see why you’ve chosen Dietrich…she’s gorgeous and her fullset outfit is absolutely stunning! I love the way they’ve sculpted her mouth very naturally with those subtle little fangs. It’s one of the nicest vampire treatments I’ve seen. Good luck with your saving efforts because she’s thoroughly awesome!

 

Not sure if you still need an answer to this but my girl (same body as the one in the video) does not fit in most minifee clothes or slim MSD clothes. I actually got a bunch of minifee sized clothes and had to sell most of them because they didn't fit her.

I absolutely adore the sculpt on the 44cm girl body (this one) and want to create a hybrid with it as non of the Myou dolls have really captured my heart

She does fit into my boys' clothes quite well so I figured it out, but thank you for the reply anyway! Luckily she's just as much a "jeans and t-shirt" type as she is a "pretty dress" type so she doesn't so much mind that I don't have the money to buy her anything new right now.

 

My Myou doll body finally shipped! That means my minifee soony will have her body soon, so I'll be able to send her out for a faceup and color matching in the coming weeks~

 

I finally took the plunge and have just ordered Carr on a female body in coffee.
I have only recently started collecting MSD size so looking forward to adding a new girl to my crew.

 

Does anyone here happen to have Myou Zimo? I'd love to see one with custom face-up or without one at all since he's the only(?) Doll without image of unpainted face on their site. I've tried googling and searching Instagram and here (here I found two posts with owner pictures, both with the default faceup so they weren't helpful) for pictures but he seems awfully unpopular and I can't find anything. I just feel like he has a lot of potential but the default face-up doesn't exactly help his case.

@knona_ona Thank you! When I ordered her (she's actually the Sakura collab with Dolk) I knew I wanted her to have pastel hair, and I thought she'd have pretty pastel dresses to go with it... but all I had were my boys' clothes and she was like, nah I like these just fine, thanks.
