My SD16 Yukinojo was stolen through eBay fraud, do not trust 1hotsteelersfan

Feb 10, 2006

    1. "Weirdo" to say the least!!

    2. Honestly, I really like that doll. He looks realistic.

    3. O_o the letters, ok now thats kinda weird to be sending with a doll O_o

    4. I agree there just.....Odd Oo
I'm happy to know that your getting your Yukinojo back,I really hope he comes back in good condition and that you can get him a new hand as well ^^

    5. .... that boy looks really, really familliar. I'm sure I've seen pictures of him posted here in the past, I tend to pay attention to Parises, but... I don't remember where. (I don't suppose anyone's been scammed out of a Paris lately?)

(Good god that Souldoll box is so much uglier than the original black one I got. oo; )

    6. He does?! If anyone recognizes him, I'd love to hear about it! And ha ha, yeah, that is one oogly box. Grandma paisley?

Thanks! Luckily, I have the replacment hand Volks sent me in the first place for the broken one. So if he comes back with his original left hand intact, hopefully I can just put this one I have on him.

    7. urgh sorry not liking the public hair on dolls.

    8. I'm so sorry this happened to you, please let us know when he arrives back to you ^_^

    9. I find the realism intriguing. Love it, actually. The idea of the letters amuses me, too. Still doesn't compensate for a Yukinojo, though. And DEFINITELY not for all the trouble and heartache this scum has caused you and possibly many others. I can't believe this person can look himself (herself?) in the mirror every morning, knowing that there is so much unhappiness he has caused. Glad the end of this is in sight for you, riversoblood!

    10. Ha ha! Love this link. The wigs swirling around in the gif below is funny. Wig Power! Yeah, they don't seem like the same doll. I wonder what that weird cigarrette burn circle on the bum of the boy all the way to left is supposed to be.

    11. The last 3 digits of his serial number. You can see the full number on his certificate.

    12. OH, thank you jerrysugarav!

So his serial number is : SDW-05210157

Volks should do stuff like that.

    13. Np. I think all company should do this but I think they should find a way to include the entire serial number. It would make tracking dolls and such sooo much easier.

    14. im not sure i like the realism of the doll... kind of spooky to me><
he is very unique though and someone has obviously spent a very long time blushing, hairing and veining him maybe you should post him and see if anybody recognises him and has pictures of when they owned him??

    15. I'm just wondering what other legal action is being done to the scammer for his many other scams.

He is a thief! It seems that he returns a few dolls and all he gets is a measly slap on the wrist...

on a side note---> It seems very creepy that the souldoll is being returned to the writer of the love note (like it had been written in the letter) (+_+)'''

    16. AGREED! -vomit-

    17. agreed again...
      lol..
no wonder the police didnt take him for fingerprints

    18. I concur. :)

    19. Yeah, I talked to the police officer on my case about it. He said,

"I'm glad you may get your doll back. Due to the circumstances of this case, it will now be considered a civil matter and no further investigation will take place."

So even though the person is a total thief and scammer, the police aren't interested anymore. Proof that criminals get off scot free unless sued, no matter how much evidence against them has been given to the police. It's really unsettling.

And I have heard absolutely zero from the other agencies I filed with. I filed for Mail Fraud and with the FBI's internet fraud department and a few other places including eBay and stuff. Guess they don't care either.

Yeah, I found that strangely prophetic and filled with irony. Like the scammer was predicting it would happen just like it had before. Egh!

    20. O.o That is pretty creepy...

Do you know if your Yukinojo has been shipped or when he's going to get to you?

    21. He has supposedly been shipped. I am waiting on pins and needles! I don't know exactly what day he should be here, but I'll post immediately when he does! EEEEK! THE SUSPENSE!

    22. You better post immediately or I'll die of the suspense!! :)

    23. I think the worse thing about all of this is that none of the authorities really cared. Especially fraud departments! What the heck use are they if they won't help in a case like this? It makes me think we should contact Dateline or something. You should have recieved more help getting your doll back.

    24. I agree! I think we should definitely contact some news thing. I mean, aren't Yukinojos worth a lot?

    25. That's great news. I hope you got a tracking number, even if it's on another wierd little letter in blood.

As for the Paris.. i actually rather like him. His blush job could do with some blending, but i think it's unique.

    26. I've always loved the Souldoll boy bodies. <3 The extra maturing isn't *too* bad from the picture I'm seeing, but I'm sure it's different in person.

      Good to hear this is being cleared up! It'll be such a relief once he's in hand. You'll have to sit him down and give him some chamomile tea-- he'll probably be exhausted from his trip! x_x;

    27. freaky soul dolll.... i like it!!!!! :D sell me? lol

the viens and the hair~~~~~ god.... nice~~~

    28. I'm surprised a tracking number wasn't used in the shipping that way you know for sure...

As for cases like this....in terms of police actions since this would be considered 'resolved' as a one off, unless more people came forward then there's not much they can work with I would think. We have heresay and theories but unfortunately courts can't convinct on that. Innocent until proven guilty sort of thing - convicting without reasonable doubt.

However, if you find other people you probably could put together something much bigger. I've seen it happen before with a seller where the police had to track him down through several residences but eventually they caught him.

Depends though i guess on the amount of money involved, type of crime etc...but if it's a ring of people geting scammed out of expensive collectables (dolls) by one person then they'll more thn likely take a look into it.

But then again i could be wrong...

    29. what if they changed his head to thow us off the scent???? cos they would never sell it now not with everyone watching out for it >< ?????

also what if they added a sould patch with pastels???
      its just a possibility

p.s i'm NOT accusing this seller at all it's just a possibility i thought of thats all ><

    30. I just thought I'd read up on this...congratulations!! ^_____^ I'm so happy your getting your boy back!

      That Paris though...weird stuff! o.o

    31. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
      ~Absolute HAPPINESS~!!!!!!!

I came home from work to find a box waiting for me! I about shredded it getting it open in a frenzy. And indeed, Yukinojo was in there! KEEEE! Ohhh, thank you god! YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY!

It had the Nicole Hayford return address on it. :-|

Here he is~! EEEK! He came wrapped in Souldoll pillows. He doesn't seem too damaged, he just has some black marks and a few small knicks!

He was wearing a pair of too-small SD10-looking hands. His original wrist joints were replaced with ball joints that didn't fit and made his hands move oddly. (sorry about the crotch shot)

The original left hand and ball joint I sent him with has gouges on it, like the thief didn't know that you could just pull on them to unhook them. I bet he/she picked away at it with a screwdriver or something. I tried getting a pic but it washed out. I've already went to work sanding it, it looks better now. :)

OH~ I am SO relieved! YAY! YAY! Thank you so much everyone, for supporting me for so long! Your kind words really helped me through the pain of all this! I am SO GLAD to have him home! :-)

      :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I'm going to ship that Souldoll out tomorrow. I hope he never resurfaces again.

    32. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!! *huggles* I'm so happy he isn't completely destroyed!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY! *cheers* THE HOSTAGE HAS BEEN RETURNED, AT LONG LAST!! XD

    33. Success!

Congrats on getting your boy back!

    34. Oh!! You finally obtain him ^^
      Congrats!
I was reading all the posts with pain :S

    35. *major hugs to everyone!* :'-D

    36. I think since theres a few things messed up on him, you should keep the soul doll or sell it to make up for your loss.

    37. I'm glad your Yukinojo is back safely too! :)

Lol, is it just me, or does he look just the tiniest bit...well, miffed? 0.0
Makes you wonder what else they did to the little guy, besides prying and gouging his hand!
I don't blame him a bit, I think my eyes would have anger in them too, after all that! ^_~

You poor dears, you've both been through the wringer with this! You both deserve hugs! ^_^ *hugs you both!*

    38. Except it is not hers to sell any longer....

    39. doesn;t she has the doll?? or is she suppose to return it?

i rather fine that doll nice... hahahaha

    40. Wonderful!

      Great news....

    41. yay im so happy you got him back :D

be more careful in the future ><

    42. So glad he was returned. Due the the damage, though, I think you should ask your lawyer about the Paris and whether or not to send him back. Perhaps a good comprimise woudl be selling him and giving the scammer only a potion of the funds.

    43. Ooooh congratulations!! Weird about the hands...but I'm glad to know your sending the Paris back, damage or not.

^____^ At least you have your boy back!

what happened to his box and stuff?

    44. :sumomo: :sumomo:Does a major HAPPY DANCE that you got your doll back! I hope this person never scams anyone again! This should teach all scammers beware the citizens of Den of Angels are watching.......like "big brother"

    45. Thanks, everyone! Haha, that's right, derilan85! This certainly is a powerful forum. I am so appreciative of all the information about the scammer and help I've gotten from everyone here. :)

I did send the Souldoll back today. I hated the blushing, so I wasn't going to keep him. I suppose I might have had a legal right to the Souldoll, but I don't want to bother to fight for it. This mess has been enough trouble, and never having to talk to that scammer again is such a relief. I am disgusted that the police don't care about what this guy/gal has been doing, though.

    46. Well ^_^ At least it ended well!

    47. You should pull that shot of the physical address. It is against DoA rules to post that stuff in public. (or so I've been told). Glad you have your boy back, maybe this thread can finally get closed

      semirans

    48. I don't think it's against the rules that I posted that shot. I've already posted their address several times, anyway. I think I should leave it there to help other people in the future. Several have been hurt by the Kenneth/Kenishi scammer, and we belive that he is also this Nicole Hayford person and Hailey Roberts. I don't think the thread should be closed, either. New information about the scammer might pop up from someone else that should be put here.

Thanks, though, I am very happy to have him home! :-D

    49. YAY! I'm happy that he's home now. Congrats. ^_^

    50. Thankies! *hugs* He waves to you! :)

    51. I will delete my earlier post.....
Now we can all sleep well tonight with dreams of dolls and a world where nothing bad ever happens......

    52. o.O? Vigilanti doll people?

Yes, it might not be such a hot idea to have the address up, but I seriously doubt anyone is going to have 'blood on their hands' XD

    53. Sorry, but the address is now removed.
While it is sickening that this person did what he did, and we in no way support his actions, our policy still states no addresses will be posted.

However, feel free to PM riversoblood if you still want the addresses, and I am sure she will be happy to give them to you.

      Rivers, I'm glad he's home.
      :)
      Michelle

    54. Well, okay, I can live with that. But I kind of feel like the scammer's getting off even more scott free now because there's no public record of their location. It'll make it just one step easier for the scammer to hurt somone new. But of course, like celticgeekess says, I'll definitely help anyone who PMs me.

      NabeeRain, that's just...wow. Um, here's a chill pill. :chill:

    55. I'm so happy for you - that's all I can say ^_^

    56. Thanks! :-D *hugs*

    57. wow, Thank God you have him unharmed ... i am happy for you :D
