Thanks Matilda was about $550 I think but not sure how much I will be charging for Mallory because I am having her molds made and her pieces cast professionally so I'll have to wait to see how much she costs to be manufactured. I'm thinking of offering her in different stages of completion .. like blank doll, dolls with eyes and wig .. doll with faceup etc so customers will have a choice .. I may even ofter her as an unstrung kit but nor sure yet!! I'll let everyone know as soon as I have final figures and see the first doll from the moldmaker.

I'm afraid I don't make a body big enough for Poppy The body I make for Matilda and Mallory is too petite for Poppy's head. Sorry!!

I am so impressed with the quality of your sculpts- but I am even more impressed with how regularly you release a whole new doll! That just floors me! They all have such distinct personalities, yet they look like children from the same family. This one looks like she's about to get really angry with someone who's being unfair. I love her little face. I don't think there was anything wrong with the sculpt at all. You have my unending admiration

Awww thanks I NEED to do new things frequently or I get bored and it becomes a chore .. my ideal existance would be making one of a kind dolls all the time and never repeating anything!! However I compromise and make small editions instead but I am usually sculpting the next doll while I am completing the current edition. I'm so totally addicted to making dolls I spend every spare moment either making dolls or on the internet reading about, writing about or researching dolls!! Seriously, Kaye, I know what you mean about moving onto the next project while one is still in mid-process! Your girls are really lovely, and having seen your recent auction (the doll more than the price, but that helped, too) my boyfriend is encouraging me to try it myself. I probably won't tackle it for a long while, but you will definitely get credit as my inspiration! Beautiful work!

Katsai25 and Lae .. I have added you to the waiting list. Pocket .. not sure exactly what you are asking but if you want to know how I get the resin blue .. I start with clear resin and tint it with blue colour tints so the resin is blue. I appologise to those waiting for their Mallory. I am having her cast by someone else and he is a very busy man as he casts miniatures etc for other companies too so I have to wait my turn to have my dolls cast. Hopefully he will start in May so I should have more news then. Thanks everyone
Kaye - Mallory is really cute but I hope you won't mind if I say I'm still really in love with my Poppy and my Maya sisters. I usually keep most of my dolls in boxes but I haven't been able to put Poppy away since I got her together.

I know the last post for here was back in Feb, but I was thinking about the question somebody asked here about dolls that have inspired us from being on DoA. I have to say it is Mallory. She has to be one of the most beautiful dolls of all the ball-jointed dolls that I have seen. I would love to find her somewhere out there in the world, but I can't imagine anyone who owns her would want to sell her. But just per chance there is, she would be truely loved by me. For me, she is one of those dolls that when I saw her the first time, tears did come to my eyes, because she seemed to look back and say "Love Me", and I do.
