Muscular female dolls- who wants one?

#2 there are a few dolls I like the buff look of, I will most likely buy them in the future!

 

Thanks for the heads up, @chalyss, that's a very well proportioned body, still a bit slender but not in an unrealistic way. I'll definitely wait and see how it turns out, and in the meantime I better study the Miracle Doll topic to learn how they pose and feel.

my big issue is when I say I want a muscular female, I want a weight lifter/wrestler/Luisa Madrigal, not a slender marathon runner who happens to have a chiseled six pack and dehydration-cut muscles... Nice as those can look it's not my style at all.

I never really thought about it but I think I would like to own a girl more on the muscular side. I saw a doll made after Korra once. She was really pretty but a stronger looking body would have fit her better

 

I am considering getting one of the new Rainman heads and would like a muscular body to go with it. I am currently looking at the Impldoll muscular body, but I am not sold on it yet.

 

That's such a gorgeous body--the 3rd gen idol body by impl, right?

 

lowkey, I might have to grab one to pair with the new miracledoll girl. I want a full DnD party of buff ladies haha

 

FYI, according to New Clover Singing. The body is only available for pre-order until 15 March. A very short time. So weird. Usually when a BJD company releases a new body, it's available for years and not days. It must take a lot of time to develop a new body. You would think Miracle Doll would want a long time to make up for all the time spent in R&D.

 

BJDivas also just posted about the new Miracle girl and said that the extra hands and feet are gifts this go around, and future preorders are likely to be more expensive.

 

Has anyone been able to find her neck size? I'm heavily considering getting the body for my Dragonshell Doll Cat head, but I want to know it'll fit! I do love the head that comes with, but if I can cut into my floaters that's the best option.

EDIT: New Clover Singing to the rescue! It's 10cm.

 

I was thinking the exact same thing too. A Dragonshell Doll Cat head on that body. However the shop is on a break because it is in Russia. I will have to wait until it re-opens. I really like that head and should have bought it sooner.

 

I actually have my Cat on a 10cm neck (male supergem) body right now, and I think it’s pretty proportionate

mine is getting either a twigling head (yep, another one) or possibly an impl head at the moment, but Cat would look really good on that body

 

@Flemcat Glad to see I'm in good company! Maybe you could have some luck on the secondhand market? My Cat has been sadly in her box since the first preorder.

@Chameleon I went ahead with it! I'm SO excited for my Cat to finally have her body, and I'm thrilled the neck size is going to be great. Thanks so much for the picture! And literally any Twigling head would look gorgeous. I was considering Impldoll Bianca for the body originally, but then I remembered my Cat!

 

She's beautiful and with much better joints than my Nobility f. muscle body, but 65 cm is too large for my Nora.

 

I love her long, muscled legs. I got a body and have plans, we'll see what she's like in person

Speaking of Miracle Doll....I'm torn between this one and my original plan of ImplDoll female muscular body. The body is a bit pricy but darn....I love the proprtion of her muscles and she has a three-jointed torso (vs Impldoll's two-jointed torso)

That wig is a bit of a mess, and the dress needs a little care too.

 

Wow, I love the Miracle Doll 68cm muscle body. Is it still orderable? On ACBJD it's shown as orderable but on their TaoBao site the price is set to 9999 which usually means not orderable.

 

It had a really short first order period. Maybe they were unsure on how well it would sell

This is the response I got from Alice's Collections re: whether the Miracle Doll 68cm muscle body is really available or a mistaken listing:

"We just placed a 68cm muscle female body to Miracle Doll today , we'll keep selling the body until they tell us to stop."

Sounds like they believe the orders will be fulfilled!

 

Ooh, all the info given earlier said it would only be a week or so, and then who knows

 

God, that Miracle Doll body is gorgeous, I wish I had her!

 

Just want to add that Alice's collection spoke to a human at Miracle Doll to answer a question for me and the muscle girl body is definitely 100% still orderable. And I ordered it!

 

That’s fantastic news!! I grabbed mine from clover singing, but I’m already considering that another character might need one. I wonder if this means it’s going to be a regularly sold item like their other bodies?

 

That's it. I'm 100% sold on getting the Miracle Doll muscular girl body. And I bet she's gonna be gorgeous in light tan skin!

Quick update folks: it appears ACBJD no longer sells the Miracle Doll muscle girl body. I checked their website and it is not showing anymore.

 

Yeah. It was time limited. Miracle doll might return in for another event.

 

I got one too. I wonder how long Miracle doll usually takes on blank bodies

 

Might as well wait until Miracle Doll re-releases their muscular girl body then. Hopefully with female head options so I do not go through the franken-doll route again.

 

I would love a muscular girl. I don't plan on buying another doll just yet, though.

Is it just me, or was the Miracledoll girl an extremely quiet release? I didn't see a thing about it until two days before it closed. Had to pass because I couldn't squeeze it in, and I'm still sad. Usually when they have a full head or event doll, I see the posts multiple places, but this girl seemed to get no love.

 

I saw the posts here and on BJDivas and ACbjd, they had really informative news posts about the body, head and order period

 

Anyone here buy Miss Orc? She sold out fast.

 

I'm getting her orc head and hands, but couldn't afford her whole self. She is the dream though!!

I decided on the iron blue, though it will be impossible to match, because I couldn't resist that amazing color. Time to learn to dye.

Yes! She was the one sure plan I made for this year. I was stalking BoneLace's page for the form link right at eleven.

@Thymeseer I'm not sure if it's the perfect body vs the colour you're prioritizing more, but Impldoll, Doll Family H, and Angell Studio do custom colours, although I think Impldoll is the only one with a bigger girl body. Do you have a body in mind for her/him? Your taste in dolls is always creative- if you do go the dye route, I can't wait to see.

I think I'd be more interested in the body, since I want two muscular, poseable bodies for my Linda Carter Wonder Woman and Xena: Warrior Princess.

@Loptr I am so undecided on my orc's gender, I'm definitely going to have to wait until they're in-hand to decide. I was debating the Impldoll MGB though; I really wish they'd make a muscle version of that!! And thanks for the compliment! I like my crew of weirdos and interesting people. I've been wanting to dye a a few things anyway, so I fortunately I will get a bit of practice before I settle on a body.

Edit: JUST had an idea. I'm going to have to add an extra pair of hands! I want a 4 armed gal.
