MuDoll Tinies: BeBe, Dotories and Little Dotory lines

I love Lisa and hope to get one at some point, but I agree there are not very many of them on Flickr.


With the exception of cherry cola and the one with freckles, is the make-up on all of the buus the same? I can't tell if omelette, pancake and cream are all the same (or it may be cookies - I know that one has freckles but can't recal which!).

Smudge, I think there are slight differences in the face ups between all the Buu releases, but the style is very consistent so hard to tell.

Her clothes are for Ten Ping doll. Theyre a little big, but the shoes fit perfectly.


@thessalyrose , thats good to hear about Sien. Ive had my eye on either her or Mon Fleur for a while, but there are hardly any owner pics of them
I also wish that MuDoll would release dolls in white skin more often.

I have a Buu - the newest one In the Forest - and if I can remember how to post pics I'll add a couple for you. But first a friend told me about a Jo's Doll Shoppe and she does dresses for tiny Betsy and they fit Buu. The shoes are too small and she finds the panties are, too, but you can ask for the sets without the panties and shoes. She also sells separates.

I love her face up, it really suits those big brown eyes and she looks so innocent, but I bet she's no angel.

That's it !! After seeing this little cutie, I know I am really done for. She's gorgeous.

I have only just discovered these delightful dolls, I wonder if I can manage to wait until next year???

Sorry Xanadu Dolls - I found these looking through the threads and Fabric & Friends had some in stock. They are really very cute, pose well. They are a little difficult to find clothes for, but the clothes made by MuDoll are affordable. The Ruby Red shoes for strawberina and ten ping fit them too, but those are a little pricy. I don't think you will be disappointed I really love the three I have.

 

Thanks for all the info D. I have a feeling there might be some twins arriving from MuDoll in the not too distant future, my biggest problem is deciding which ones to bring home. I'm going to take my time and will be thinking very carefully before I take the plunge this time though ... I may even wait untill there's an event that I can take advantage of.

 

Good idea - I have some dolls that I plunged in and then was not too thrilled with them. I am enjoying the ones I have now, so may not add too many in the future or will wait until one just screams at me to bring him/her home

I'm not on Facebook either (won't join), but I'm not in a hurry to spend more dosh right now. I think they usually have an event during December, so will probably order then. I think it's normal skin, but the hands look very light in the photos, so it might be best to email MuDoll to be sure.

I think it is just the way the picture was taken but when I first looked at the doll she looked so pale.

 

I just bought my first bebe from this company, she will be shipped out tomorrow so I should have her by the beginning of next week...

Just as we were leaving the house this afternoon the post-lady stopped by with a package, we had to go so I couldn't open it, boy was it hard to walk away.

The first thing I did when we got home this evening was meet my new little one. Here is a quick picture.

Bad lighting and bright flash makes for very pink cheeks, her cheeks are not that neon,
she is adorable, I am so happy with her....

Thank you @Shanfriend and @Merlin's Mom, I am really enjoying her this morning.
Now that I see her in daylight I will have to say her cheeks are very pink but sweet.
Love the weight of her in my hand, her wig is very cute, and I really like this size.
I have a small box of Tonner's Betsy McCall clothes that I want to try on her. I am told that they will fit .

I would love to know if the Tine Betsy clothes fit - they are pretty easy to find. I started with one and ended up with three.

 

I did find a few outfits, I know I have more someplace but the one that I was most interested in was the clown suit pictured below. I am doing a circus theme presentation box for my new BeBe.
The McCall clown outfit is big on her but it was also big on Tonner’s B. McCall. I was really disappointed in the fact that the shoes didn’t fit. I knew that Betsy’s shoes wouldn’t fit this doll but because the clown shoes were so oversized I thought that they may work but the opening is way too small and the ties can’t be untied.
What I am finding is that the bebe hands can’t fit through a lot of the Betsy McCall’s sleeves, which is something I think someone mentioned before on this thread.

If the outfit has elastic sleeves like in the clown suit you can get the bebe hands through but it took a lot of work and time to do.
There is a white and yellow sundress for Betsy that will fit this doll, the dress is sleeveless and the bolero jacket has larger opening for the arms. The top is a wee bit big but looks ok. I also tried on the classic 8” Anne Estelle outfit, the skirt fits but the top does not, again it’s the sleeve.
I really love these dolls but I can see that dressing them is going to be a pain.
At the moment I am ok with it because I am focused on the presentation box I am doing.

If I find anything else that fits I will let you know...

I know I was hesitant when I bought this doll because I was worried about finding things for her to wear so I thought it would be helpful to share anything that I find. I really wish these dolls were more popular because they are adorable but I bet being an in-between size is a concern.
I found that some of Helen Kish’s Riley’s things will fit . The dress, tights and shoes are all Riley’s, the shrug is from an 8” Tonner Ann Estelle outfit. Riley’s arms are longer so anything with long sleeves is too big and her belly is a bit larger so some tops are big as well...

Hi Oliveoil I have three of the tiny girls and all their face-ups are as shown in the photos on site. The face-ups are well done. There is a picture of my girls on page 3 - not the best photo, but all three have default face-ups.

 

I've only encountered two Mudolls so far (both are tiny, one of them being my own) but, like Merlin's Mom said, the face ups are well done. Imo, they look even better in person - they are true to company photos, are very clean and professional face ups with sweet, innocent expressions ^-^

I was able to order Buu and requested Kitty Kitty face up. The doll is sold out but I really liked the face up and ears. They are honoring both. Hopefully, the wait will not be too long. It is nice to have the 10% off, too.

I fell for her on flickr and wrote to Mudoll and had her in my hands within a week. I have to agree with @cosmicish

That is interesting you were able to order the limited. They recently posted onFlickr another limited from the store. I was going to inquire but figured you had to buy directly from store since it was not on site.

The tan color is very pretty in photos.

 

They have new dolls on the website! Very cute but I don't really want to pay extra for the outfit.

@Oliveoil, I wondered if the Ltd edition December Wishes for the Greenland store meant that the outfit was limited rather than the doll, since they state that the doll is Cookie who is actually a doll that is available for purchase on their website. Are they giving you the kitty ears too? That's so cool if so, I love her cat ears.

 

I saw the new dolls and was tempted but like you not fond of outfit.
You could be right about the outfit being limited but they told me the special dolls with outfits have slightly different face up to the basics.
Yes I paid extra for the ears. Both dolls have been shipped. They should arrive Saturday but I won't get until Tuesday.

Oliveoil they look adorable. I have Bunny also - how did you get her ears to stay on - I wasn't able to get them to stay.

You should have 2 extra magnets. Put those inside wig or hat where you want the ears. The ear magnet will hold in place.
It is a great option rather than having the magnets inside heat. Hope this helps. Let me know.

Thanks! The one on right is basic Buu, with Kitty face up without whiskers. I paid extra for the cat ears.

I love their outfits!! Did you make them yourself? I have a pukifee with a few extra outfits but I know the Bebe line is a little larger than them.

Hello!! How hard are they to dress @Oliveoil? I'm thinking in add a Buu to my collection but I hate when I dont have where to choose for dressing them.

I know now mudoll offers the pettit body that only measures 17cm but looks it only affects to the legs that makes easier find trousers for them.
