Paul Simon - The Obvious Child Have loved this song since I was a kid. Those drums just make me wanna get up and dance.
not the most recent one, but the one thats been stuck in my head all day is Bottom of The River by delta Rae. I love that southern gothic feel
Not just a song, a full CD. The Gentle Storm - The Diary (a project by Dutch Ayreon and Anneke van Giersbergen - formerly of The Gathering, for those who know them). It's a rock/folk album that covers a story about a married couple during the Dutch Golden Age, and their two-year correspondence as his ship sets sail for India. The funny thing about this project is, that it consists of 2 CD's: 1 contains the acoustic, softer version of the progressive rock songs on disk 2. Here's the first song of the second CD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPE3j6Gg_r4
LOVE "Autobahn" and have the cd! Love to listen to the full version with the car sounds!! Latest song for me this morning was "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol!
Knee deep in my heart - Shane Filan. Lovely, cheerful and bouncy song. Great video, too No matter how fast light travels it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.
No Sugar in my Coffee by Caught a Ghost. It was on my weekly recommendation list from Spotify and I really like it.
Devil Survivor Overclocked's Rival Battle is looping on my n3ds at the moment. The angels are being a pain in the butt and I don't feel like battling them atm.
Smooth Criminal By Alien Ant Farm...kept flip flopping on the various music channels..lol. Just couldn't get the mood right until this song came on and it just felt right. Even the bf is singing!
Does this question mean the last song you listened to on purpose or the last one you heard? Last one I heard was something country in the car on teh way home from work. Last one I listened to on purpose was Stand and Deliver by Adam and the Ants. They have amazing costumes.
f(x) Rum pum pum pum is currently playing. Waiting for their comeback so I've been listening to them all week.
Currently up on the playlist? Puscifer's "The Humbling River (Duet Mix)" (Yeah. I'm pretty taken with Maynard Keenan, even though I'm not a huge fan of Tool as a group.)
Black Magic by Little Mix (I've come to really like them as I love fast music with an addicting rythm)
Oh! I love this one! I've been stuck with earworm/last song syndrome so I've been listening to Sindy - Je M'en Fous nonstop.
It's so interesting to see the range of songs people are listening to. It's such an eclectic mix And a shout out to the person who mentioned that Adam Lambert has a new album, I didn't know so I immediately added it to my driving to/from work playlist lol. That's where I've been doing most of my music listening lately. Most recent tracks: Paint it black by Ciara - it's the cover from the new Last Witchhunter movie. It's haunting and kinda creepy so I'm enjoying it Other than that, Kerli's dragged me back over to Estonia. I don't usually like pop music but for some crazy reason I'm addicted to Estonian pop music so I've started listening to Iiris And for anyone who wants a general feel good song or is curious about Chap Hop, try out "All In Together" by Professor Elemental. It's hilarious and is that song I put on whenever I feel a bit down and a bit like a freak. Perks me right back up. Then again, how could it not with the line "There's no such thing as normal. Everybody's weird"? :P
I went and saw Big Bang a couple of weeks back and still haven't been able to stop listening to them, so right this second it's TOP's "Turn It Up" XD
@kaitan I'm actually listening to 'Turn It Up' at the very second haha ^^ (also super jelly you saw Big Bang?!?!)
@fantasteic I did! I'm super lucky to say that this is actually the second show of theirs I've gone to - this time was LA, last time was Jersey They are INCREDIBLE live, probably one of the best groups I've ever seen perform. I hope you get to see them one day!
@kaitan Ooh lucky you indeed! I can imagine them to be even more impressive on stage than in MVs or on Live Shows especially since they are very entertaining and special personalities. Sadly I live a rather... non-existent country (for idols, that is haha) so I doubt I'll be able to see them anytime soon D: I hope you had TONS of fun though!
Yeah, I was really happy to see a variety of musical tastes here. I didn't know about Ciara's song you mentioned, so I will definitely have to check that out. Btw, is anyone else subscribed to iTunes streaming? I absolutely love it.
I was disturbed by the phone in the middle of singing loud (and bad) to Avenged Sevenfold - Dear God.
yay Avenged Sevenfold!! I love this thread... Me currently: The Mephistopheles Of Los Angeles, Marilyn Manson
'Just added a new one to my play-list, thanks to a link from a friend... Disturbed's cover of "The Sound of Silence" Go figure. Their lead actually has a really great voice buried under all that growl and noise.
I'm stoked about seeing Melanie Martinez tomorrow night, so I have her album on repeat. The song on right now is Dollhouse
Have to admit that I have not listened to much music in a while. Pretty much kept to Let's Plays and podcasts... But when I do my go-to song is "Path of the Raging Demon" from Senran Kagura Bon Appétit! (It never stops twitching in my fingers during it - I guess that is what rhythm games will do to you). I kind of recommend it; it is very catchy!
Under the Northern Star by Amon Amarth. Probably my favorite Amon Amarth song and high on my list of favorite songs ever. Listening to it for the millionth time while finishing up random online stuff and getting ready to go to sleep.
My favourite Songs are Kyungsoo´s Cart OST song "Scream" and Luhans new The Witness OST song "Medals"...these songs are perfect for the autumn season and are a little melancholic^^
"Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran. He has the most gorgeous voice and those lyrics make me cry just about every time
