And I know of Kraftwerk though I'll say I'm not terribly familiar with their music.

 

I'm listening to the Batman Returns score (Danny Elfman)....it's one of my favorite things in the world!
If that doesn't count then it's Cupid Carries a Gun (Marilyn Manson) that I had on in the car on the way to work.

 

I love music and seeing what others are into. Last song I listened to: Paul McCartney---maybe I'm amazed

 

Last song I listened to (listening to it right now!) is "Can't Feel My Face" by the Weeknd. It's really catchy.

 

Uma Thurman, Fall Out Boy. I heard it randomly twice this morning and its been stuck in my head all day so I've given in and played it to satisfy the earworm.

The last song I listened to is "Sekundenschlaf" by Marteria. I like his voice, it's very soothing somehow, haha.

I have a huge library but like anyone else on the planet, there will be one song that gets stuck in your head so badly it'll drive you mad
until you listen to it. That song was "One more soul to the call" from Mary Elizabeth McGlynn for Silent Hill's Homecoming. I LOVE
video game music and the darker the song the better no matter what medium.

Just listened to No hope in sight off Paradise Losts The plague within. Gotta love a bit of gothic doom metal \m/

 

I mostly only listen to music in my car, so the last one I was listening to (while driving around yesterday) was Black Market Blood by Placebo (it's the "hidden track" from the album Black Market Music).

 

Currently I'm listening to Elan from Nightwish. Am super in love with this song - and their other song Sagan.

I think the last one I listened to was "Breakdown" by Seether. I am absolutely infatuated with that band, if anyone likes a bit of post-grunge with a lighter touch,

 

Most recently it was The Animal Song by Savage Garden. Not my usual choice for traveling music but I left my iPod at home and have been listening to Once by Nightwish allot lately. I need to get more CD's in my car.

I sometimes wake up with "Autobahn" stuck in my head, but more often it's "Radioactivity." I remember being derided as a teenager for liking all of that fake "knob-twidling" instead of real music with real instruments. As a little kid I was obsessed with Wendy Carlos' "Switched on Bach" so I guess it was destined.

Most recent song was Ejecta from Death Vessel for something contemplative on my walk home from work. I spent the workday listening to Chrome Hoof, Grumbling Fur and Teeth of the Sea while powering through to finish before deadline.

My default bands that never leave my iPod are Skinny Puppy, Swans, Sigur Ros, and middle-period MUSE when I want to get shit done or wake up in the morning.

Still Believe by The Dreaming for me. One of my favorite songs from my favorite band! I got to meet them and see them live for the first time about two months ago, it was definitely one of the best nights of my life. They were my favorite group when they were still known as Stabbing Westward, too, so it really meant a lot.

For me the latest one which I listened to was "Cyanide" by Deathstars (not really a suprise for me since I listen to these guys a LOT ). The almost latest song is the soundtrack to "The imitation game" which I also adore

I love the Silent Hill soundtracks! Especially 3's.

 

Firstly, kudos for even knowing about Kraftwerk, let alone loving Autobahn. I am an old fart and my first concert, back in 1981, was to see Kraftwerk. After a wait of 32 years, I saw them again when they were back in the UK. The grandfathers of electronica.

At the moment I am obsessively listening to Andreas Scholl sing Vivaldi. What a sublime combination! Scholl (a counter tenor) has such sass in his voice, which many counter tenors don't. It prevents it from being saccharine and gives it real soul.

I don't even know most of the bands mentioned in this thread, I'm a pop/country girl. So the last song I listened to was Someone by Kelly Clarkson, it's my favourite song at the moment.

 

I've had my most recent addition to the collection (Yes, I'm one of those Luddites who still likes to have physical disks. ) playing this morning... Shen Lu's Watercolor. '8 Memories #3' is just gorgeous.

I have a pretty eclectic collection of music over here (Seriously, I have everything from Johnny Cash to Verdi. It's silly.), but I seem to have been all about the piano lately. Before I put in Watercolor, I was listening to Ludovico Einaudi's Nightbook.

I've been listening to Eliot Sumner a lot lately... "After Dark" is my favorite song so far. No album yet, but she's been releasing singles every few weeks or so on Spotify. I kinda had it on repeat going to work this morning.

 

Drag Me Down by One Direction. Love it.

 

Varðeldur by Sigur Rós. I love them so much and their music has become a really big inspiration for me and my dolls! ^^

Wardruna. I listen to a shameful amount of Wardruna. My favourite is Algir and Jara, but Nest's "Last Vestige of Old Joy" is another recently-played favourite.

 

RIGHT?! The Light is my favourite track and I'm equally in love with Things I Didn't Say.

 

Purple Rain soundtrack. The whole damn album keeps repeating in my car.

 

Rather enjoying "Could Have Been Me" by the Struts, I know I've heard it at least twice today. And I just heard an unplugged version of "Keep 'em Separated" by the Offspring that I hadn't heard before. (Love those guys!)
