Monster High!

I sold all mine last year but I will admire the new gen release from afar and look at everyone's mh doll pictures. My favorites are draculaura and Rochelle. I will be loosely following the releases because I want to see the makeup and outfits but won't be buying any new ones. I don't like the redesign as much but mostly I really don't need to start collecting them again (I had over 70 or something of them at one point lol). So glad they changed the horrid glue!!

 

@jenlovesdolls They look so cute! I'm worried about falling down the rabbit hole too.

 

Yeah I'm having the same problem, with g1 I was happy with just 1 of each character with a very few exceptions, but g3 I want them all, and have gotten all so far except the day out/budget dolls and I just havent found them yet. Also keep checking walmarts clearance section for the ghoul spirit pack, my store never even had that set at full price, the day the got them they put them in clearance for $49, and then down to 29 a couple days later, and it never showed online that my store had them either

 

I'm really enjoying the new dolls but I really gotta downsize, I sold a lot of my NIB collection to both reclaim the space they were taking up and finance new BJDs. Ghoulia is my favorite so I was just happy (more like relieved honestly) to see her get brought back. She's the only G3 I have right now and I'm hoping to keep it that way until they roll out a new Jackson and Holt (manifesting my baby boy Jackson lmao). I was into MH fairly early on, got into it mid-2012 and was able to really enjoy a lot of releases as they happened. As an adult collector, it really makes me happy to see all the people who were too young to buy or collect how they wanted back then getting to enjoy the experience now!

 

@jenlovesdolls I completely agree, I haven't even seen anything but the first wave and the coffin bean stuff in my local stores yet and stuff I didn't even know about is being resold online for absolutely bonkers prices. SSDY, I suppose, I guess I gotta get used to it again

 

Try making a few road trips to less populated towns and out of the way places. Of the umpteen box stores around here the Walmart by the college, the Walmart by the trucking hub, and the Target by the fairgrounds have had the most Monster stuff. Hit them when they first open as well.

 

I saw the spirit pack back around christmas, but they didn't last long enough for clearance. We've just started getting single dolls in the last few weeks, so far I've seen Frankie, Draculaura, Lagoona (I was surprised how much she's changed from the og one) and Cleo. I've been out of MH collecting a while, but I wouldn't mind picking up a cpl - Frankie definitely, and Ghoulia, if I can see her in person.

I caved and bought Vampire Heart Dracula when she restocked today! She'll be my first MH in years!

 

Congrats! I'm terribly tempted by her. I have to remind myself that I have no space for her and all the other dolls on my want list.

Threadarilla Frankie is my favorite MH doll and this looks like another version of her. Love it. So I guess I will see if I get her.

 

Reviving this thread from the dead (how fitting). Who else went chasing after the Alien Skullector doll today? I decided to spring for the membership to get early access, as I've been into Alien and the xenomorphs long before I collected dolls. Second batch is coming tomorrow, and I'm curious to see how fast it goes versus today's.

 

Pray for me, I missed my Xeno girl today because my phone froze, so tomorrow going to try again on the PC.

 

I hope everyone who wanted one got her! I think she looks incredible! OMG. But, almost too good as the Alien movies are terrifying to me and I could never put her in my collection.
