Moggie61 transaction [Moggie's Toyshop]

    1. Thanks chizzie_shark to compile things for us. To update your entry I purchased on June 22nd 2008:
      - a pair of 15mm Eyeco Platinum Series eyes (Starlit Blue)
      - a pair of black shoes (S0609)
      - and a pair of high top sneakers (S45-007)
      for a total of $43.79.

    3. I bought a girl Dollzone body from Moggie and paid $399 (USD) via Paypal on the 18/04/08 for item number 280209811825.
      I havenโ€™t heard from him since May. Iโ€™ve done everything to try to fix this with no luck until someone guided me to this thread.
      I really hope this matter gets resolve because after this, Iโ€™m very scare of buying again on ebay or Dollzone.
      I still want the doll or the money back as soon as possible.

    4. Don't be afraid to buy from Dollzone~ I own 4 and it is a wonderful company. There are other dealers that are much more reliable, such as Junkyspot, Jerryama on ebay, Denverdoll, etc. Moggie just had some issues, that's why you're here with us. :D
       

    5. I started with this hobby less than a year ago and had only dealt with Denny from Dim Dolls (who has been the greatest by the way). He didnโ€™t have any girl body at the time . I first bought a girl Dollzone body from their representative in China with no problems and after buying a couple of set of eyes from Moggie I decided to go with him for the girlโ€™s body with no luck at all. I havenโ€™t bought a doll ever since. I sent a few e-mails to Dollzone asking if Moggie was their representative in Australia or just a hoax and if there was a way to solve the problem but they never answered. I was so disappointed! I really hope this matter can be solve now so I can start having faith again
       
    6. I was just reading about the fire being in October. My transaction with Moggies was in April and the last time I heard from him was in May so he had plenty of time to refund me the money or send me the doll before the fire.
      Sorry but I don’t believe on this guy's good will
       
    7. Just letting everybody know that Moggie contacted me today and ask me for all my details to send me the doll I ordered. I thought it was a lost cause, I'm so happy now that he is actually going to honour his commitments after that long.

    8. Don't hold your breath. I am still waiting. This is after he said I would get my money by the end of the year in 2008. I have not heard from him at all after I gave him my info. Like I said befor leopards don't change their spots!
       
    9. You are right, I'm not counting on it yet. I'm not going to believe it until I have the doll on my hands or the money on my bank account and I'm not planning to give up either
       
    10. Hey gabsci, I added you to post #293. Hope it all goes well with you - Moggie seems to be back properly now though; he's answering PMs and sending out things. He told me my eyes got sent out yesterday, so I should get them this week. I'm on camp from the 19th to 26th though, so any updates during then will be posted afterwards.

      HamstereLady70, do you mind posting exactly what you ordered, so I can add that to the list?

      Moggie should give us interest on our money, its just like we lent him the money. I still wonder what he did with my money? That was never explained to me, I was just told he had a bad time. What kind of excuse for fraud is that. He should be on his knees begging for our forgiveness and thanking us that we are all so nice and did not report him to the police. Seeing as to what else he is into that idea fits.;)

    13. I think, considering that Moggie is genuinely trying to contact people to let them know they'll get their products, we should give him a chance to "change his spots". I know it's hard to put trust in him after all this, but it seems he's trying to do his best, and it's hard to make your way out of such a situation.

      If we continually berate him on this board, he's not even going to want to try. Let's give the man some credit for doing the right thing.

      Remember also, that in the situation he's in right now -- whether or not he had the chance to get you your products before then -- RIGHT NOW it's probably a bit easier to come by products (which for a dealer are cheaper) than it is to pay you a refund.
       
    14. Moggie got back to me this week about some eyes I ordered in September. He's said they shipped out yesterday, so I'll let everyone know when they arrive. It's good to see things getting turned around for him, but...

      ...honestly, I'd be very wary to do business with him again.
       
    15. Well, I deserve the berating, though it's a fine line between berating and taking cheap shots based on my lifestyle.

      You are correct in that it will be easy to supply rather than refund in most cases. Some people have already indicated that they are happy to still receive goods rather than refunds so I'll be working towards both.

    17. That's right, in my case I still prefer the doll since I couldn't afford to buy one , and I would be using the refounded money on a doll anyway.

    22. *forehead smack* I completely forgot to add what I ordered to this.
      Mine was WS Dollzone X head with faceup for $150.
      ETA: The date on my email reciept from paypal is 8th May 2008.

      I'm not interested in the head anymore, but I understand if it would easier to get me goods rather than a refund of money. If it's possible, I'd be interested in getting a couple of pairs of Eyeco eyes instead of the head. If not...eh, I've been waiting for awhile, I can wait a little longer for a refund. It doesn't really matter to me, I'm just glad that this is all getting resolved.
      (Hey, can we at least give him some credit for trying to sort things out, please? I understand being upset, but cheap shots aren't nice and we should at least *try* to remain civil, here.)
       
    23. Well, as long as it is easier to return the goods rather then do a refund I can accept it... I already have bought Floy and I don't think I want big girl anymore, so I would preffer refund, as I would sell the dolls if I got them insted refund anyway.

      I hope Moggie would deal with it quickly, it's good to hear that everything seems to be on the right way now.
       
    24. Received my order from Moggie on Thursday. Ordered on the 12th of December. I didn't experience any problems at all.

    26. Just to add to the evidence that Moggie is not a scammer - I bought a DZ carrier bag off him last week and it arrived today in perfect condition! So keep supporting him and give him some time to recover, it'll all get solved.

      I'll update post #293 tomorrow, when I'm not so tired.
       
    27. I bought several pairs of eyes earlier last year. They never turned up and months later I asked about them and was given a refund. It did take a while (a month or more) for the refund to go through, but I did receive it and am completely happy with that.
       
    28. Moggie, if it will be easier, I'm still willing to take the merchandise in place of a refund. Either way works for me :)

    35. Hello! I am so glad that I found this post. I too was curious as to what may have happened to Moggie. Back in early 08 I ordered a pair of boots and leather items that were homemade by him/his girlfriend. Well, I received the boots but never received the special made items which totaled up to a little under $100. All I can say is I really feel for the guy and I am not looking to get a refund of any kind back. It has been so long anyways. I'm only out a small bit of money compared to what he is out of. I'm just thankful for the board by keeping us up to date on these kind of things - Many Thanks!

    37. Same here. Moggie told me it would be easier for him to send me ordered items instead of money and that I could make some changes to my order (keeping it at the same value of course) so I did. Now I'm also waiting for reply. I hope this time it would be all right ^^

    39. Oh, it's good to hear that orders of equivalent value are a possibility as well. I'll talk to the sig. other about what she wants to do, obviously since Moggie is no longer making the clothes and accessories we can't replicate our order but it's possible I might submit an order for a similar value since it's more likely to get processed quickly than a cash refund.

    52. Yeah, quite a few died in the fire. Some were visiting other people at the time so they survived.

      Let me know if there is anything you might like. It is going to make life a lot easier if I can supply rather than refund.

      It seems like ordering things from the store would be more useful, I just really don't need anything that would amount to what I'm owed (which is a small sum in the run of things) and I can't afford to spend more than that on something I want, if that makes any sense.
