Someone answered on here she is related to BC its actually a Misty Blue and the green dress reflected and caused the resin to look green.

Also someone else said that BC says they are coming out with more colored ones but they won't have elf ears

I just hope they have another fantasy ear such as mermaid ears! its possible

I'd like larger wings, and Lotti and Cookie faces in the new colors.

 

They said they would have regular ears as I recall. And sometime like later after their promotion. I am having a problem logging in again but it was at the Q&A board of their website.

I did my first faceup ever* on my Mistyblue Elf Kumi this weekend! Still trying to decide if I'm happy with the results, but at least she has more of a face now.



I even blushed her ears, although you can't tell from this photo.

*My best friend helped with the eyebrows, 'cause those were driving me nuts.

 

I photoshopped a pic of the LSG Pepe from their website & posted it with my order...I think it's the only reason why I got my custom face-up. It seems if you try describing what you want they'll just send you the default. No matter how detailed you may be!

 

WOWZA! I saw the pictures, and that is one special and unique Pepe!!!

You are going to get a lot of PMs and emails about that one...

ViYa did a PERFECT job! I asked for the faceup shown on LSG Pepe on the website, but with more angry eyebrows. And I also sent in a Photoshopped image.

Notice says Package should have arrived... Unfortunately, it's at my parents' house and I won't be down there to pick it up until this weekend!!! AGH!!!

Well, the photo has made my day! I no longer care about the long wait or possible fading. It's so nice when a faceup comes out as one hoped!

By the way--he will be a boy, and his name will be Nightshade!

Oh, and Em--nice call asking for the black lips! Very cool!!!

We have been fortunate enough to meet a fullset blue Pepe, as well as another LSG Pepe with the Viya face up. As well as a couple of cute elf Kumi's. A tanned one even!

It would be fun to see them all together though. One big family reunion!

 

Ahh I was wondering if he was your boy when I saw the pic! I love the eyebrows, he's definately got attitude!

I wanted black/grey for my boy as he's a storm spirit. His name is Kageru which (very) roughly translates to dark cloud.

I don't think my boy will turn up till next week though, oh well not long now

 

I didn't want to vary too much from the regular faceup-- mostly since I liked it!--but also because it's tough to ask an artist to do something very different from their design, just in case it's something they aren't used to or comfortable doing! And, of course, it makes it less likely my request will go wrong or be ignored!

I mostly wanted to make sure he didn't look TOO sweet, since I wanted him more boy-ish...

Kageru is a lovely name! I love that meaning!!!

I'm surprised mine is scheduled to arrive so quickly! I went away for the holiday weekend, here, and suddenly the Order Status goes from Money Received (*crickets chirping*) to Package Delivered! (although I have yet to get confirmation of delivery! I'll have to ring up my Dad to see!). I hope your lovely boy arrives soon!!!

She is absolutely gorgeous! I love her with those brown eyes! There's no such thing as a second-hand doll. They are all just pre-loved.

Well, it's still a somewhat painful amount...! I went a little crazy with the spending on him (no more dolls for me for a year at least!), but I already have my MB Kumi with a ViYa faceup... and I adore her (and it's nice to have a similar style for my boy!), and I'm so lazy about doing faceups (or even sending off for faceups), that I usually try and get what the company offers, if I like it at all--and I definitely liked the website photos a lot!

To kyliebee--It's fantastic to see one of the relatively rare LSG Kumis! She's darling!!!

Well, luckily for me, the purple lips were ViYa's default for her LSG Pepe faceup. I liked the purple, so I just asked for that to be the same as the faceup shown on the website.

It might be trickier asking for a different color, although Em got her dark gray/black lips. We both sent in images of what we wanted, so that might have helped. I think some other people didn't get their requests followed correctly.

... Maybe ours were some of the last ViYa faceups for the colored elves, so ViYa might have been happy to finish the last of them and took the time to follow our requests???

 

Heheh... I noticed she had a Misty Rose in her avatar... maybe that's the one she wanted purple lips for? Otherwise, you're totally right... purple was default for LSG ViYa faceups.

Must be... I don't think I've heard of anyone getting their request honored (although they just might have not posted about it!). And I do remember someone NOT getting their request... *sigh*

I was imagining ViYa saying, "this is the last of them--hooray!!! I think I'll put dark lips and extra flourish on this one and slant the eyebrows on this and happily go on a long faceup break!!!"

Maybe including the photoshopped images, helped too? Don't have to worry about any English/Korean translation??? And that Em's and my requests were very simple???

Unfortunately... I actually don't expect most companies to follow custom faceup orders very well! (So JADED!!!) When people were reporting spotty and faded colors, that was very alarming. (So far my misty blue is OK... but who knows what'll happen over time?) When someone got mis-matched colors on their BC (not colored elf, but still), that was sad. It does make one... less enthusiastic ... At least I'll like my Pepe's faceup! Although I like the ViYa faceups in general, so even if I didn't get my request, I'd have be OK with it, I think. Other problems... not so OK with! But gotta be happy for the good parts, at least.

... and my Pepe is still in-transit... So far tracking has got it as far as a local Post Office, so it should be soon. Ordered on March 13... so... about 2 and a half months wait...

I certainly hope people who have ordered their colored elves have all got theirs or know theirs is in transit by now. I know I was one of the last who ordered, and with a Viya faceup, should be one of the last to get one shipped... !!!

BC posted photos of Em's and my faceups in the Customer Gallery. Not sure why... Probably they or ViYa or someone was happy with how the faceups came out and took some pictures?????

Well, I hope Viya's got yours done already! Is yours listed as about to ship or something like that? And is it a LSG Pepe? Viya does the faceup in batches--as you can tell by the two LSG Pepes being done at the same time... (mine and Em's)... and from another photo in the gallery showing a different batch of similar heads being painted.

Wow, did you order before I did? I ordered on the last day they were on sale (March 13 or so...).

My package is listed as being in a nearby Post Office, awaiting delivery... So it should arrive soon.

Weird... that others have been waiting even longer than I have! (2.5 months is bad enough, I think!)

they are acting very strict lately

it´s not so much about paying fees but the pain and loss of time to go over there to "rescue" her and they keep sending yuou from one place to anoher before handing the parcel to you, it´s crazy and nervewrecking XD

my mom borrowed my car (her´s is bigger, so harder to find a parking place) to go and get some clothes I ordered that also got stopped (clothes!) when I got kyuubi she got home no problem in three days, even before I got the mail form luts saying they were sending her XD ... I found the box beside my bed when I woke upXDDD



but that was two years ago... lately they´re like very paranoid with everything coming from outside Europe

 

Heheh... well, it's going to almost be 3 months... and the waiting is LONG, no matter what the actual time is!

Well, then your faceup should be done and hopefully... hopefully it will be as you wish! If ViYa was painting my faceup request, then it's very possible she did yours as well!

You can track you package by it's number. You can also find out exactly when you ordered on the BC site--where you can find your package number.

I know mine cleared customs already... (but then, US customs often seems pretty easy).

Mine says: shipment completed, too, but that must mean that they have shipped at their end... You'll have to check the number to see exactly where your package is!

I hope it arrives very soon!
