Hybrids Mirodoll - Bodies and Hybrids

My Bernard is Oriental skin on a (probably) Normal classic Miro 66cm body ... proportions are perfect, resin match is okayish. He's a couple years old though and the body is second hand, so I'm not 100% sure how new resin would work together.

 

Could anyone provide a picture of a Mirodoll 70cm boy head on the 72cm body if possible? Mirodoll has told me that it will look strange but I would like to see for myself.

 

Miro has no 70cm heads. They have 60cm heads (1/3) and two 72cm heads.
All 1/3 heads fit on all the 1/3 dolls (so not on the 72cm). The 72cm body's neck is a lot bigger than the 1.3 boy necks, and so the 1/3 boy hits will not fit on the 72cm body without modifying the 72cm neck. (or the head)

 

Miro will be modifying the 72cm guy neck to accommodate the Jared head and some new ones coming out. You can find pics on the FB Miro discussion group;

This is the Jared head on the 72cm body. It actually looks good if you like big heroic types.

 

I am a complete idiot and I actually meant Resinsoul, not Mirodoll. I'm considering putting the Yang head on the Yi body. I'll put this on the right thread.

If the head sizes are similar to Jared's on the Miro body it will be fine. The character will have lots of dreads which will help fill out his head and make it appear larger, so I'm hoping I can get it to work. I definitely want the Yi, regardless of the head I get. Usually I don't want exceptionally buff dolls but this guy is a warrior and deserves to be built lol.

Does anyone know how accurate mirodolls resin matching is? Or if their normal is close to resinsouls normal?

 

I've just sold a mirodoll body a few days ago, so I can't give you any pics, but Resinsoul's NS is definetly paler thar Mirodoll's.

 

Ok, thank you. I'm waiting for a 4 or 5 year old resin soul head and according to the seller, it yellowed a bit, but wasn't too noticeable. So I guess I'll have to wait to see how bad the damage is.

 

Mirodoll Classic NS would be close to the RS normal. Their pinks might match too. However, RS doesn't have a yellow NS whereas Miro's is Volks Yellow. You CAN ask them to do things like pale NS pink (half the pink of their normal NS pink) or a cream instead of a white. These don't incur matching fees. However, I do have Miro NS and RS NS and I can compare. I do think the RS NS would be a bit paler, but that's soooo easy to blush to match.

 

Miro NS Classic + Resin Soul NS

For future reference, RS NS is the hand- mellowed Miro NS Classic is the neck.

 

Mirodoll head stands in normal and white. Resin reference: Dollshe Saint in oriental, Dollzone Leslie in white and Dollmore Nayuta Kenzo in normal with tattoos.

 

I searched and saw mention but not photos... does any one have resinsoul 1/3 jointed hands on one of the SD sized boy bodies?
Since I’m off hybriding again, this thread and the Grando hybrid thread have been life savers! So much helpful info.

 

Anyone know what the resin match between Dikadoll normal pink and Mirodoll NS-Classic or NS-Pink is like?

 

My SD boy on a Mirodoll 61cm body has Dika Doll normal pink hands and they match pretty well, both in size and in color.
The body was supposedly in NS classic but it was actually closer to a NS pink.
