Hybrids Mirodoll - Bodies and Hybrids

Kevya, my (Lost Angel) Mirodoll body with mods, dikadoll hands and an Iplehouse YID Barron head in NS, parts blushed a little to match. Mirodoll's NS is pretty close to recent Iplehouse NS, but just a smidge more pinky.

 

The Fairyland NS is more Apricot next to the very, very pink Mirodoll NS.

I was unable to get a MNF head on the body yet, but it looks pretty good with the LTF once both are blushed to match better. Crappy cell phone shot, but it gets the point across:

Poor little girl was living here since 2009. without a body. Post my husbands death i have had alot of time on my hands and decided to slowly body the floating heads to just complete them. Kinda closure type thing. So pretty.
Her body arrived today.

 

Elfdoll Lydia head in Normal Skin on Mirodoll Lightning Body NS

 

I ordered the Mirodoll 60 cm boy body and will let you know once it comes in a few days, but here is a Migidoll Cho (yellowed from 2010) head on a Mirodoll girl 60cm body:



The match is VERY close. Keep in mind the head is yellowed. This is in tungsten (regular bulb) lighting. The body is a little bit pinker.

 

The hybrid is a great match!!!

The RS to NS color match is fair. The WS to WS match is also pretty close and I expect it get closer over time as all resin changes color...

I'll take pix of my Miro MSD boy with his luts head both in WS later, but I can let you know now that to my eye the WS resin match is exact: both white like the driven snow.

 

I have two Mirodoll hybrids.

Firstly, I have my Leekeworld Lion in white skin, which does not match perfectly, but it's not worse than I can live with it. Leekeworld is clearly more pinkish, while Mirodoll is completely white.


Secondly, I have my Dollgru #12 in normal skin, and it makes a much better match. It's actually really close, but the Mirodoll body seems just a bit pinker.

I wasn't expecting the WS of the mirodoll body to be paper white...but there is always blushing to even things out.

 

Hi everyone! I just got my new Supia Muse head I'm hybriding with my Mirodoll body. I took a few photos so you can see the color match and head movement (both are quite good, I think!)

I like the proportions of the Supia heads on these bodies, and I especially like the round-faced Muse with the full-bosomed Mirodoll body, it just works, I think. I also got some Supia hands that I'll be modding to fit the Mirodoll wrists. Here's one more photo of her with some clothes on:

Just my little tid bit of information, but the Migidol Normal A type skin matches PERFECTLY with the mirodoll normal skin tone. Seriously, I don't think you can find a better match between two companies. Both the body and head to make up this hybrid are basically brand new, and were ordered only a month or so in between. I may not know how the older skin tones would look, but the normal A type looks great with it!
I can add more photos later if people would like, but here is a close up of the two skin tones. The only way I can describe the tiny difference is the mirodoll body doesn't seem to have as much of a "fuller" color, but I think it's a splendid match

Here are a couple of quick photos of my Supia/Mirodoll hybrid. I modded the Supia hands to better fit the Mirodoll wrists and cleaned up the edges of the Mirodoll wrists. I would have liked to bring down the wrists edges a bit more, but there's not a lot of material to work with there, so I just smoothed them and rounded them slightly. The hands are little bit pinker than the body, but it's much more apparent in photos than real life. I also made her some new elbow joints using a wooden dowel, because I felt the original joints were a bit too small. They look funny, but I kind of like them. The last little mod I made was to suede her lower torso joint, which makes her much more stable when sitting. Oh, and i restrung her with thicker elastic, too.

Wanted to stop by and contribute my Miro doll hybrid. The head has been extensively modified but it is a normal pink color Illusion Spirit head and the resin was not a perfect match but definitely close enough to be tweaked with blushing to be perfect on the Miro Doll body.

Hellooooo everyone! I posted this in the Miro thread but here is my beautiful Soom Dia/Miro Doll hybrid!! I am so in love

 

They really are perfect! Not too big or too small!!

 

I spray painted him with Krylon Fusion for plastic. Dyeing I'm too scared to do. I tested some hands and the paint works great, so I went for the head:

Quick snapshot of my (slightly disgruntled) Luts event head on the Miro small bust body:

 

... turns out my dolls have a mind of their own. My Elfdoll Yuan head stole the body from underneath the Luts head within moments ... so here's another Elfdoll/Miro hybrid (with Iple nYID Bianca thrown in for size comparison, they'd be the same height if I hadn't bevelled out the Yuan head's neck hole in order to make it fit on the Doll in Mind body she was on before):



The head is white skin and about a year old, and the resin match is almost perfect. She was blushed very very slightly, but the MSC washed it right out again (I did her faceup before I switched to Citadel's Purity Seal).

 

I have a mini boy body, but he doesn't have a head yet. I am planning to put a OrientDoll or LumeDoll head on him.

Not a hybrid I'll keep, but in case anyone was wondering how Iple heads fit Miro bodies:


That's Iple nYID Bianca on Miro body, next to Iple Eva on Bianca's original body. Iple's neck holes are rather deep so she'd need a neck donut.



Miro's and Iple's normal skin matches perfectly.


Iplehouse SID option hands on Miro body. The wrists have not been modded/rounded; the hands sit on top of the wrists on Iples, too.

 

It's raining men ... resin, that is My Dollshe Bernard head arrived, here he is on the Miro 68cm boy body:


I thought the resin match would be better, it's more noticeable in person than in the pic but the Oriental skin looks greyish compared to the pale pink Miro Normal skin. But I'm sure he'll be fine with a faceup.
Incidentally, this is the new head with faceplate system. The S hook was small enough to go through the hole without any trouble, and large enough to stay in place. Proportion looks perfect to me and the neck hole fits nicely, good range of motion and only a little bit of gapping.

 

John, Ninodoll Bada on a Miro 60cm male body! Resin match is terrible, but both head and body have been blushed to compensate.

This is my DIM minimee head on mirodoll 68cm man body, proportions are great, much better in real than piccies, i must confess that piccies are not that great sincerely
But my head is huge people, and proportions are increbidly nice, the color is off cause body needs a slight body blushing

I took a chance and bought a Mirodoll 41cm body for my NS-Pink Doll Chateau Erica boy and am rather pleased with the result! The proportions are perfect (although I did have to change out the default Mirodoll s-hook in order to get his head to fit) and I'm happy with the resin match. In-person I can't even tell the resin is from two different companies, while in photos the body looks a smidge lighter.

I'll take a photo with just his headcap in case the chin/cheek blushing is throwing off the comparison.

Either way, I'm pleased as punch and once he has his proper wig, eyes and clothes I'll add more photos.

 

I just wanted to share my Mirodoll/ Luts hybrid, Kel. He's a Luts 2013 event head on the 60cm body. Both are normal skin. The match is very good- the body is a tinge pinker, but completely livable. He's got a husky look to him.

I just got in a 60 cm Mirodoll boy body for my Feeple60 Juri 2013 head. The resin color isn't a match, but I'm posting because of the proportions. Is it too pin-headed or does it work in a weird way? I kinda like it, but wouldn't mind a few opinions. ^^

 

I just got my Mirodoll 68cm NS body in today. I ordered it exactly a week ago! Super impressed with them. I got it to hybrid with my Luts SD summer event head. The colors match pretty well. Much better than I thought actually. I'll have to take a picture soon that shows the match better, but here is one for now~

 

I can take a picture tomorrow for you of AOD and Mirodoll NS.

EDIT: Here's the picture for you. I think AOD NS is much pinker than Mirodoll NS. Mirodoll does seem slightly yellower, however it is also much lighter in person. I cant say for certain but I wonder if AOD YS would be too dark.

 

My hybrid: Dollzone Cosmo on Mirodoll 60cm



He's not quite as bobble as he looks here (he looks better with my other dolls for some reason). Resin is almost perfect (with faceup and blushing the mismatch won't be seen at all) and fit is great. On a whim I put a donut piece in his head, and he can look way up now! Which is cool....not too many of my dolls can hit that angle.

Here is my Miro mini hybrid--he is a Lumedoll Rishcha head on the Mirodoll mini body. The Lumedoll head was ordered in Light Pink, but it looks paper white to me...not sure if I was sent the wrong one, or if Lume's light pink is really that pale. The Miro body is in Normal. The first pic is blank and unmodded, while the second is after blushing to match and enlarging the eyes (to match his girlfriend's sculpt).

 

Im sharing my experiene here and hope this helps someone someday!

I tryd to give my Mirodoll Jointed hands. these are Illusion Spirit Jointed hands.
Im pleased with the Resin match. its like 90%.
but the size..... they are a bit to big. although I think that I can live with that XD

Ok guys here's comparison between MiroDoll RealSkin and IpleHouse realskin resin color.

Something more MiroDoll realskin is actually more muddy with strong yellow sulfur undertone, while IpleHouse realskin is more dark and have a greenish undertone(which all IpleHouse resin color has btw)
Iplehouse realskin feet are from 2012 batch, was never been displayed so color didn't chanced.
IMO isn't a good match as if you'll going to use MiroDoll body on IpleHouse head the head will end to look more dark than body.

Actually I have an Elfdoll Yuan head in snow skin on a Miro body! The body is from last summer, but the match is good and if I had blushed her a little (she was on a different body first) it would be perfect ...

Eric is a Dollshe Bernard (Oriental skin) on the 68cm normal skin boy body. He's up for wrist surgery too once his new hands come in, but that won't be for a while yet.

as you can see mirodoll NS is pretty pale, now i don't know if the mirodoll elfdoll homme compatible skin is accurate or not.

as you can see fresh is even more dark than miro NS so i guess that would not be a good match. Moreover white Mirodoll is paper white, while the actual dollshe fresh a sort of cream white with a sublte tone of pink.

 

I have an Oriental skin Bernard on a Miro Normal skin body and I think he looks okay - the undertones are different, but a faceup can camouflage that:

Here's my Mirodoll 68cm Body Hybrid. This is with a Migidoll Ryo NS-A skin.

To me, at least, the body proportion looks good with the head but Migidoll's NS-A skin is more yellow than Mirodoll's NS skin, but if you're of those who like taking pictures of your dolls you can play with he lighting to get a decent match.
