She looks really good in resin! Do you feel Fdoll's casting is a faithful reproduction? Are there deformities etc?

Well, I kept reminding them in about 5 messages that I don't want any changes (especially eyelids) and I think they got it :XD Anyway, it's hard to tell by looking only at pictures, but it looks like she is exactly the same as my prototype in all details. And what I like the most, they reply very fast! Sometimes I wished they would say "woman, please stop bothering us. we got it" haha Oh and one more thing. I shipped my doll with Priority Mail. Never do that if you ship to China. Choose EMS. My doll got stuck in Wuhan at customs and someone from Fdoll had to go about 300km from Yichang to get the parcel! And they did it. They even kept me informed like "I'm at Wuhan now", "I got your package", "The doll is safe". Well, they said that their post office and customs service is very bad :dead Anyway, Fdoll customer service is excellent!
oh, I heard that customs can be a bit corrupt (where parcels are stopped and frisked...and are never released). Noted, EMS it is.
She looks fantastic! I'm a big fan of Fdoll resin, too. They are my go-to whenever I get a floating head.
It's awesome that you're getting her cast, she's a fantastic little doll! Can I ask how it cost to have her cast, and how many you had to order? (researching my options, ha ha). It's great to know F-doll is good to work with. Not long ago, there was hardly any info on what different casting companies were like...
Thank you all! Yukamina, Sure : ) For a size of my doll and double joints the cost of one doll is $60. Extra parts are $10. Minimum order quantity is 20 dolls. 20 dolls in one color, if you want other color you have to order another 20 dolls. Shipping to Poland from China for 20 dolls is $100. They provide with strings and s-hooks (not in my case, my doll is too small, I had to make handmade 100+tiny-tiny s-hooks :dead). They sand seams free of charge. If your prototype is made from clay you have to pay extra $150 for them to make molds twice. If you have resin prototype you don't have to pay $150. Also, if you want them to change something, improve your doll, joints etc you pay $150. Of course price depends on the size of the doll, quantity of parts ) Thank you for your kind words : )
Thanks so much for the information! My doll won't have a resin prototype, good to know there is an extra fee there (costs less than casting the prototype myself though). I can't wait to see your doll painted and finished ^^

Very pleasant surprise). penguu, doll will lie flat : ) Suddenly I remembered this anime Rozen Maiden, where the dolls were sleeping inside their cases ^ ^ I like the theme of this anime, but never watched it till the end, somehow got bored after few episodes... such a shame, such a shame... Oh and yep, I made about 30 pillows for my dolls :XD Annnnd I have very happy news, the package finally arrived!XD I'll make photos and will post here as soon as possible. I'm sooo happy! I checked only 5 full dolls (and all heads) but I'm very satisfied already. F-doll didn't change anything, they only made the surface mate (my prototype was too shiny ^ ^'). The quality is very, very, good! They made stringing, glued magnets, sanded seams, full service I have everything for my dolls, they are ready to travel to their new homes... Except for eyes. Unfortunately, the eyes I ordered were too big (even though I asked for 2mm irises... my dolls eye holes are too small for 3mm irises...) Eye maker is recasting them now. They should be ready soon. Once again, F-doll made fantastic job! I'm very happy : )

She looks absolutely amazing and it seems like she kept her poseability in resin (I think sometimes the weight and stringing can be different between clay and resin)... aneemal, Thank you! Yep, she kept her pose ability : ) But I think she still needs glue sueding in some places. In ankles for easy crouching pose. In hips and ankles for pose on one leg. The rest is fine I think. So if you don't want to make her do extreme poses you can play with her without sueding ) Also on resin version it's harder to bend her knees if she is strung tight. I think it's because the bean is too small and it weighs too little. No helping here, the size of the doll is small and I still wanted to keep locking system Oh and yes, I'll submit her on DoA (if I'll be allowed of course ) but only after I make face up and good photos Thank you once again : )
Perfect! Those eyes are crazy small, wow. I can't wait for photos of her all made up I missed out on the preorder but hopefully I can get in later on if she'll be cast again...
Oh she's so lovely! You've done such amazing work on this doll, I'm so happy to see her cast in resin. She's so expressive even without a face up, I can't wait to see her painted.
Thank you! First face-up ) I know, too dark, haha :dead I used to make this kind of face-up for my ooak polymer dolls but their bodies were painted too, and in bjd case, where body is painted very rarely, I guess I have to make much lighter face-up
That is an amazing faceup - she looks so realistic! On such a small scale, that is truly impressive! Even if it is darker than the rest of her body, it won't be so noticeable if she is dressed and you blush the hands too. I'm in love!!! :XD
Wouw the face is beautifull. I don't think it's really notice able that her head is darker What aneemal said, if she wears clothes and such I'd really love to see her in this uber nice sundress

Actually, there was first pre-order already and I'm planing to open second one. But once again, only after I make decent photos (made her her first lolita/mori dress :XD). She is breathtaking. No doubt about it. That is the right word. I felt my jaw drop when I saw her in a squat...and not holding on to anything. I don't think I've ever seen a doll do that. Thank you for sharing. What a beautiful job you've done. Well done.
