Merrydoll Round Pygmies

Found this on her website!! "Production time: Estimated production time is about 4-5 months. Please add 1 additional month if face-up option is chosen. Production time does not include shipping times!" It's at the bottom of both little monster order pages. I think, for me at least, this puts Dango arriving sometime perhaps in April or May 2022?? Not sure how to make the wait go faster... maybe just order more dolls lol

 

I bought directly from MDR three times, and I can confirm average waiting time is around 4-5 months. Hopefully it'll pass quickly for all of you waiting for dolls from this preorder!

 

oh CRAP, that really stinks. I want them SOONER!! dang. lol. sigh. oh well

 

Another not-great pic of my two darling girls... I really wish I took better pictures. Oh well! I love them! Lucy (dango) was a little miffed about that foofy thing I had her in before. I discovered she really isn't interested in doing foofy. So here, she's wearing a coolcat tshirt and monster high leggings for a halloween look.

I also wanted to tell everyone that SO FAR none of my Barbie shoes have fit. I think some made for the new CURVY barbie might fit but I haven't had a chance to try those yet. I'm actually quite surprised -- I have a TON of different style barbie shoes, including flats, and I really thought some of those might fit. Pygmy feets are small enough but they are also cute and a little fat so the fat toes were a problem, not fitting into the shoe at all. And forgive me - I cannot remember where the shoes they ARE wearing here are from.

I was looking at the Instagram posts for the Little Monsters and noticed Nuria replied to a comment in December and said the pygmies were in line to be shipped to her by the end of the month, and that she should be able to start sending sometime this month (January)! I hope it's true, I can't wait for my girl to arrive (and to see all of yours!!)

I was just talking to Nuria on instagram and she says she is going to stop making dolls, maybe for a long time! Oh, I would hate that!

 

Oh no! Hopefully whatever she decides to do is the best option for her, but thats very sad to hear considering how long shes been around. Her work was one of the first that I became obsessed with long, long ago in the 2010s lol
