My Lemoncat is at the Superbuy warehouse now He looks great in the pictures, I just gotta wait til I can ship him home

 

I was finally able to do the final payment for my body! Can't wait to get mine too!

EDIT: It came to the warehouse! Hell yeah!

 

I asked Legenddoll about my Lemon Cat and Erica said it should be shipping in about 2 weeks.

 

Welp! I'm gonna be having trouble getting the body home! Superbuy removed the option to pay with PayPal, and I am in the US and had no real options other than paying with PayPal.... Needless to say, after I am able to get my stuff shipped out to home, I'm not using them as a proxy anymore! I can't put myself through this again, especially considering the Maydoll body isn't the only thing in general I was waiting on shipping out.... Lots of doll stuff yeah, but also a few other things as well.... Dear god.... Also sorry for venting but I'm pretty stressed!

 

I unfortunately don't have a STRIPE account, and I am hesitant to get one just for Superbuy.... That coupled with the fact that I have no idea about STRIPE, how it works, or it's reputation, doesn't really help.... Needless to say, I'm gonna be using Pandabuy from now on for any Taobao shopping.

 

You don't need a Stripe account to pay. It's just a payment processor that enables online businesses to accept credit card payments. Many online businesses use it. As a customer, all you need is a credit card to pay.

 

Okay, that's good to know... I can just use Stripe to pay for international shipping then I'm done with Superbuy probably forever, no Stripe account needed... I don't think I need to say again that they've lost my trust, going from my most recommended proxy to a capital everything AVOID, due to this utterly negative experience.

 

I'm curious if anyone who ordered from Jane's Doll Land, New Clover Singing, Anubis Dolls, etc. received their lemon cat doll yet?

 

Nope, no shipping notice from Legend Doll yet. They'd said 2 weeks ago that they would ship in 2 weeks. There was the Golden Week holidays during those 2 weeks though... so I'm going to give them a few more days before asking again.

Newcloversinging shipped my lemoncat today. Now let's hope the head doesn't have an issue.

 

That's great news! I guess the dealers are starting to get the dolls then. I should go poke Legend Doll about my order.

 

Well, got a reply from Legend Doll and they still haven't received my order from Maydoll yet. They will contact Maydoll about it.

 

I got my lemoncat today. So far I can see she doesn't have the issue with the eye.

She is so big and chubby. I didn't expect that (thought she would be more like a mini dollfie with chubbier hips)
She moves surprisingly well for that body proportions. A lot of little notches that helps with holding poses.

Anyone knows what clothes will fit? Kumako probably?

 

In case of dresses, you should be safe with MSD size, unless their made specifically for slim MSDs. I haven’t tried any pants yet, so I can't tell.

 

My mini dollfie dream/msd dress from dollhearts doesn't fit her. The closures in the back have to be left open. (She does fit the skirt but the top is the issue) but it's not an outfit I have planned her to wear

 

I got my lemoncat the other day! I took some unboxing photos so I need to get around to making a thread.

He's my first resin in 15+ years and I'm in love with his sturdy, chunky body

Where does everyone buy clothes for their kumako-sized dolls? I have a top that fits him good, but no shorts/pants. I did some browsing and found full outfits, but hardly anything with shorts for the bottoms.

 

Well, the latest on my order through Legend Doll is - 'The doll manufacturer told us that this doll will be ready in around two weeks.'

Another two weeks... so many replies of 'two weeks'... orz (And my Shoushou Doll Coco is stuck in the same limbo...)

 

So, seems like my Lemon Cat is 'ready' as in the nude doll is ready but they still have to do the faceup... Well, progress at least, I guess.

 

My Serval arrived from Jane's Doll Land today! He's blank, tho, so no idea if the faceupped ones are done.

 

Its extremely sad. I really liked the bjds they were making and thought all the stuff they haven't released yet looked amazing too.

 

Oh no, that's very sad news... Too bad running this company has become to overwhelming for them.

But I do applaud them for being responsible and transparent about all this and for taking steps to make sure everyone who has ordered will get their dolls!

That's such a bummer I really love my Lemoncat and it's a shame that there won't be anymore in the future

 

I wish I would have ordered a tan lemoncat or serval. I really like the normal skin lemoncat I got and it's sad to know she never will have a maydoll friend

 

Well, finally some more progress on my Lemoncat order. They finished the faceup today or at least will be sealing it soon. Legenddoll/Erica sent me a photo of the faceup for approval today.

After 2 months of 'it'll be shipping in 2 weeks', I hope it will actually be shipping soon... orz

 

I finally got my two maydolls after all the mess MyDollection caused. While I didn't get them thru MD, New Clover Singing was very helpful and was able to get me two similar to the ones I ordered before and I'm forever grateful.

I got a male deep tan serval cat and a semi white lemon cat. But because of the nature of the purchase, the artist sold me a lemon cat from the first pre-order, and I guess she added some free gifts to make up for it (I didn't even know this until I opened the box). I got three pair of eyes, sand box (the body and head has scratches so I guess I use it for that?), and a defect head from the current pre-orders (Same head). I was just glad to get these dolls at all so the free gifts really brightened up my day! I also laughed when I say the certificate card said 'doll no.69'.

I'm even more sad that Maydoll had to close down operations now. The artist was so nice to do this and I hope the best for them!

I just contacted newcloversinging and was able to order a light tan Lemoncat
I wasn't expecting to actually be that lucky.

If anyone wants a Serval or Lemoncat ask newcloversinging, it seems maydoll really has some leftovers

I asked Legenddoll for another update today since it's been another 2 weeks again and they just shipped it. (Kind of feel a little bad for maybe rushing them, but I think I have been very patient by only asking them for updates every 2 weeks after the initial expected shipping time has passed...)

Anyway, they shipped via SF Express, which is usually very quick for me, so it should be here very soon.

 

My Lemoncat has finally arrived! One of the longest waits I've had for a doll, just shy of 11 months. Anyway, she's bigger than I'd imagined!

 

Since I got my normal skin Lemoncat I wonder if it's really the normal and not the white.
Can someone confirm that the normal is quite pale? (I guess if the white is paper white it would help to confirm too)

 

Sadly it seems that Maydoll is shutting down. The article on Anubis says another artist is interested in taking over though so there may be a chance of the sculpts being sold again in the future.

 

I'm wondering if anyone has received their Yalie dolls yet? I'm currently at the 9 months wait mark
