Ooh, Asleep Eidolon has made 32cm human versions of their mature-tiny mermaid ladies:

Has anyone else seen the new Asleep Eidolon girls? I'd like to be able to get a basic version of Erin... Though I'm trying my best not to order any more dolls until my Dollshe Hound arrives. And I have no idea when that'll be...

 

I want Erin too @Leo Pheonix!! She'd be so tall and beautiful... * v * You have my sympathies with the Dollshe wait. I'd be hard-pressed to stick to such a resolution haha!

 

So I can tell you guys I have an Erin on order from back when they came out as mermaids! I have the fullset arriving (minus faceup because I didn't want one, and with the wig switched out). I don't think anybody will have gotten Erin yet, it hasn't quite been long enough for the mermaids to go out. However, I am hoping that it won't be too much longer, and I'll definitely show you what Erin looks like when she arrives!

 

Asleep Eidolon and Xaga appear to be the same company like Neo-AngelRegion and Soom. Here is the logo that is one the top of my 80cm Calandra's box:

 

They are sister companies, just like Doll Chateau and Doll Zone!

 

I wish that I'd known that AE was about to release such pretty 1/6 girls! I just ordered mini-gem, Verna. I hope that AE will re-release in a non-limited, when my budget has recovered!

@nancy_schroeder_ca response from BJDivas! Apparently the pose plus body in that size isn’t finished prototyping yet so they are not for sale, but this gives hope for the future, I thought they were discontinued but it’s the opposite!

In the meantime he can live on an OT action figure body lol

Oh, wow, I didn't know that Xaga and AE were related companies. That's so cool! I'd love it if they did some kind of neat crossover with the Red Obsidian boy body in the future.

 

Yeah they are!! I think AE actually designed the "less mature" girl body (the girl body I have my Mini-Ann on actually). I'm not clear on how PRECISELY they overlap, but they share on the mature tiny lines at least! It's really great. I would LOVE for them to do some more with the boy body. That'd be so cute.

 

Yikes. I want like 3 of them. My poor, poor wallet.

 

I have fallen for the tiny boys and ordered Soom Auber with faceup. I ordered him with faceup because I am at my very limit as far as eyesight and steady hands with these tiny guys. He will make my 5th mature tiny guy, to go with my 2 Granado Lucifers, Napoleon and Lumedoll Kiran. I'm also expecting an OT 1/6 synthetic human sometime soon.

 

@SteamWitch congratulations, I’ve always admired the SOOM tiny’s. Auber is gorgeous! I too have reached eyesight limits and had to finally go get an eye exam and bifocals.

 

Thanks! Yeah, eyesight went a while ago and multifocal lenses work pretty well with one of the lighted magnifying lamps but even with that my hands are shaky and tiny paint brushes are just too finicky for me to handle. I cringe at closeups of some of my tiny boys faceups but overall they look nice at a normal distance.
I can't wait to get him!

Has anyone ordered or know of Miracle Doll’s YanXi? I was trying to find owner pics but I’ve been unsuccessful.

 

I just got YanXi dragon version but I an still deciding on eyes. I have an accetable pair but I'm having trouble getting them to stay where I want them. DH is sick but he may go to bed early.

 

I'd love to see pictures of your dragon YanXi, since I have the elf eared version on my wish list.

 

My mother sent me a link to these 1:6 props and clothes. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing measurements listed. Has anyone tried outfitting their dolls from the super macho "They're not dolls, they're action figures" clothing? This is the set I'm interested in, but there are others that look really fun too. Star Man

I will have a Soom mini gem, and my mother ordered a Xaga doll.

 

The main problem with action figure outfits isn't that they don't fit, it's the made for pop off and on feet, heads and hands problem. You would need to open the cuffs and neckline to use with a BJD, which I have done. Mainly they are a bit too big but that is better than too small. Sometimes you can ease open the seamline on pants to make it fit over feet.

 

I've gotten a few pieces of clothing and most of my guys shoes from Cotswold Collectables. Less fitted things can fit without alteration. The "Sk8" brand Vans fit my Xaga doll perfectly, and my Soom Mini Gem boys well. Their clothes prices are pretty good, too.

They look adorable from the posts in the news but I am having a terrible time getting to the Myou site!

@Flortune I think you're right! I love both Carr and Alan.

 

I also agree that the boy looks like Carr, and the main reason why I'm having such a hard time resisting getting him (I love Carr's face)! I don't want more resin dolls, but it's hard for me to resist 1:6-ish dolls. If I were to give in to temptation, I would love to order directly from MYou, but I wonder if shipping or communication is better from a dealer? I don't suppose anyone on here has had any experience dealing with them?

 

I have ordered from Myou and the communication was very good. I will check the shipping a bit later but it was reasonable.

Cool! I won't be ordering any time soon, although I wish I could (I have a lot of semi-expensive OT pre-orders coming out until February). However, I would really like to know if shipping is more expensive from them or from a dealer. Although, I'll probably order directly from them anyway. I don't speak nor write any language other than English, so I wanted to make sure we could understand each other, since they don't have an automated ordering system. I am glad that they have good communication, thank you for confirming!

That's so cool! It's really too bad I have so many darn expensive pre-orders due out on September. I'm trying very hard to talk myself out of ordering Myou's 1/6 Gina but she's so cute and perfect. Mature tinies are my weakness!

 

I'm glad the Myou tinies are not limited. Gives me a little breathing room. I'll be saving up for Gina, possibly (unless Maskcat comes out with a 1/6 that fits). There's a specific project in mind that I've been looking for a 1/6 to fill - basically a replacement for a childhood 18" doll that was destroyed ages ago. There's an aesthetic that Myou and Maskcat both have that would be perfect. I'd been looking at Zuzana from Myou, as she's perfect down to the fullset, but she's too big and I'm running out of space. Gina is really close and the ballerina look for her fullset is definitely acceptable.

It's funny that now there are so many 1/6 dolls releasing that are so cute! I'm just happy that most are not limited, so it makes it easier to plan out.

 

Question: is anyone else having trouble accessing the Myou site?

 

Though I'm not personally interested in the Myou dolls, I've had no problem accessing the site. I agree with @ohsi about the growing number of 1/6 scale dolls making me happy, since that's most of what I collect.

Of the 12 I've gathered in the 6 years since I joined the hobby, only one is currently available. They have a tendency of being discontinued or only offered for a limited time. Though that maybe starting to change?

 

I managed to score a nugget I didn't even know existed until last month. I received a Soom Metato today.
He has a few problems but I'm sorting them out one at a time.

Thank you.I mostly collect larger sizes. Most of the tiny and mini dolls I saw were not mature.I wanted a more adult style and he was it.

Vitamagica does open eyed dolls now - the Lusin sculpt boy with two different head sculpts ( a more human slightly elf ear and a deer like ear) in 4 resin colours - white, grey and two skin tones a cream which is about a normal caucasian and a coffee (light tan), human feet and or hooves. They also offer sleep faceplates too. There is also an anthro fox and hare in 16cm.
