In person, her ability to pose is fantastic. She holds poses really well straight out of the box.

 

@knona_ona I'll be forever tempted by their 1/6 dolls, they look really lovely to play with.

hello everyone! i’m currently waiting on Joy 26S and Luise 26L.

this is kind of a long-shot, but if anyone is up to taking some tedious measurements I’m interested in drafting a bodice, sleeve, and skirt sloper (basic pattern) which I would share here if completed.

typically for doll patterns I make a sloper as a base and then scan my physical patterns or use my downloaded patterns to layer and compare. that way, i can make small adjustments and can tell if something will fit before sewing it. the slopers can also be used to sew a dress form.

i’d make one for each size ♡ let me know if any of you are game to take measurements! (it’s more specific than what’s offered on Maskcat’s website) I’ve never drafted for something I couldn’t physically compare to so it could take some trial and error.

 

Does she have noticeable seam lines? It’s the only thing I’m worried about with a tan doll. She’s the same one I ordered ♡

 

Hi! She’s actually very smooth and has no seam lines at all besides what you might also find on a light resin doll. Even then, Maskcat did an exceptional job sanding her. The resin quality and color is perfect.

I'm back with my Luise. I'm thinking of naming her Eve. Here she is in an oversized Blythe dress and Disney doll shoes!

Took a few pictures at a local park today, and this might one of my favorite pics I've ever taken of Mimosa (Feline).

 

For those asking and wondering, the 26s body is a dream fit for all Blythe clothing and shoes. It's even better than the old basic body that Feline was released on. She fits Blythe too, however I noticed when I owned one that things could be somewhat tight in the chest. 26s body owners can have a field day with cute Blythe stuff.

I am really curious about what fits the 26L body because the proportions are bigger. Any word on if Momoko, Barbie, etc fits? I'm guessing Blythe clothing won't unless it's loose.

I ordered Luise about a month ago and I'm so excited I can hardly wait! She's going to be my first doll

I ordered her in tan and 26L from Alice's Collections with the dress from her promo pic. I think I saw someone say on reddit that the 26L body can fit in rainbowhigh clothing, so I'm wondering if that's really the case or not.

 

I've got my girl! She's very gorgeous, and I have yet to take some proper photos of her, but I'm absolutely in love. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find wigs that can work for her? The one from Maskcat itself is very pretty, but I was hoping to get another wig so I can have more options for styling. Her head is so tiny I'm having trouble finding some

There might be some more on these websites - I mostly bookmarked the ones I liked.

I haven't ordered any yet, so some of these might look too big.

I believe those AC & Dollmore wigs are going to be too big! Those are 4/5, and the Maskcat girls take a 3/4! Dollmore DOES have wigs in that size, here!

Mudoll also carries size 3-4, and so does Facets! (Facets actually has a few sizes in that range, not 3/4 specifically.)

 

My Joy's head measures 10,5 cm so that makes it just above four inches. The Dollmore 3-4 wigs are too small, they will just pop off no matter what I've tried.
The 4-5 ones are a bit on the big side, though, so they are not great either. It' a bit hit and miss. I have one of the short bob ones that fits ok with a silicone band under, but the longer ones I've had to modify with a small tuck and a few stitches on the back. Not a problem if you want a puffy voluminous look, but not great if you go for realistic.

Your images does show up when quoting your post so your host is probably fine, but they seem to be huge. That's probably why you are having trouble.
Any image larger than about 600 pixels tall and 800 pixels wide will typically need some kind of zooming, resizing or scrolling to be viewed on most screens, so anything beyond that is completely superfluous, even if they show up.
The large files creates a Tragedy Of The Commons situation with DoA bandwidth and so are less likely to load correctly and can even cause other peoples images to break as well.
This is also why it's not recommended to post more than one image per post in the discussion section of DoA. This is a discussion forum with the extra function of embedding images, not an image dump site with comments turned on, after all.

You can post more images per post in the Gallery section, but everything about image size still applies.
