Really want Belimbing, and am dying for more owner pictures of that mold!! Hoping to order her/him for the holidays...

 

Got the ups invoice today, so a little over two weeks like last time. Officially out of the waiting room!!
I may grab a head or two from discontinue sale but still thinking about it...

 

What are your fees amounting to?

 

Luts declared both Sept and Oct package at $30. Tariff $4.50, ups fee $15, total due = $19.50 each package

I placed an order for a SDF Chloe head in Normal Skin through DDE, I've thought about getting her a long time so now that she's being discontinued I figured I'd finally get one.

I also ordered a Delf Body in Light Tan from DDE last month, but forgot to post here.

 

Ordered a Kid Delf Kiwi and a Kid Delf Cherry head, both in normal skin and both with face-ups. Gotta get them before they're gone for good

 

Well it took UPS three weeks to deliver, but my Leo head is finally home.

 

I really did not plan on this, especially in a year of such an uncertain economy, but Luts' discontinuation sale got me

Bought a blank bronco Uriel and a WS Yuriel head. I guess on the other hand, I've waited 19 years to shell my Breakaway's daughter so it's really about time haha...

 

Ok, guess I gotta stake out a spot in here now. The holiday timing is quite wretched, but I also had to squeeze in a small order... I've had HDF Tarte on my wishlist for a while, but it was not a company I expected to do a discontinuation anytime soon. I think I'd be quite bummed missing out. Thank goodness DDE can do custom orders, I really couldn't handle EMS Premium AND Tariffs for a single head. So the wait begins!

 

I'm also joining the waiting room because of Luts' discontinuation sale. I hadn't planned on getting him this year, but had to grab a MDF Lapis with faceup before he was retired. The amount of sculpts Luts retired was surprising to me but I'm glad they advertised it first.

 

Joining the waiting room because I grabbed Xylon before he got discontinued! Well...his LE head is still available now as part of the Winter Event, but I wanted to jump on the full doll discount too.

Has anyone who ordered directly on the site during the shipping error (shipping was reduced to $0 on the last day of discontinue) been emailed yet? Luts said they will email the shipping fee to everyone individually but I haven't received mine yet.

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one who got got by Luts discontinuation sale I ordered a Model Delf Bliss and a blank Dion head that will share Bliss' body. Can't wait for my first 1/4 scale boy!

 

Anyone else got themselves an Arion? I really hope to see more owner photos when they arrive!

 

I somehow missed the discontinuation sale entirely and found out about it from this thread. Super sad, HDF Sunny was a 'someday' purchase but kept getting put off. Well, maybe I'll find one second-hand someday. Raphael too, man they got rid of almost all the CH sculpts(and their own too).

And regret is why I'm here, though regret that's been going on longer - I really loved the 2024 Summer SSDF event head last year but couldn't make it work financially at the time. So when I saw thankfully before the sale ended that they brought him back, well, it worked out better this time, and I snagged him with a faceup and a body. Also snagged Storm and Storm Elf heads, blank because I liked Storm regular's faceup well enough but not the elf faceup and the characters I have in mind for them have white and red hair lmao.

Arion did tempt me but I was trying to keep the purchasing reasonable. Which is why I didn't notice Sunny was gone, I forbade myself from even going to the category lest she sneak into my cart. Not that she could have, alas. But at least I won't regret The Boy anymore. I've thought about him often enough the last year. No more thoughts, he's coming home.

I feel you -- I didn't realize that the 25th anniversary sale was ALL heads so I missed out on the limited SDF Quintus that was released probably 10 years ago. Unfortunately the BJD hobby is one that is full of regrets, but it does feel amazing when things work out

 

Im just posting this to keep track of and for waiting time information. I ordered two NS bodies in November 28 for two of my heads and one white body in September 16 for my white skin head.
So far I haven't received any shipping updates. Both orders are still in the processing order stage.
Im guessing they'll start shipping around February? It'll be 5 months in February, if not, maybe 6 months in March.

 

I ordered a Bory Vampire head with make up on Sept 7, and so far there's been no updates. I wonder how long it takes for this kind of order to ship nowadays

 

Everything is at 5-6 months now.

I ordered kdf abadon in December . So I got a whiiiiiile.

 

I just received a shipping email from LUTS for my September 16 order. Hopefully it gets here fast. Will update when It does.

 

I was literally just looking at the forum earlier thinking about how I’d still likely have awhile for my girl that I ordered on sep 21st but I just got the shipping notice tonight! I am so excited~

Yet another Kdf Ani to add to my collection.

 

My girl arrived today and even a little earlier in the day than I expected! I did have some additional fees around $20-30 but it was worth it for her~

Luts did forget to switch face ups as discussed but seeing as how they said there was no charge for the change, I am not terribly upset, just a little sad.
