Hi! Has your order arrived yet? I am still waiting for my order made in February. It’s almost been 4 months, and no communication from them. It would be wonderful to get an update from them, even if it was a quick “Hi we haven’t forgotten about you! Your order will be ready in 5 months from now” lol Just anything!! I can wait, but it’s hard when customer service is so non existent

 

Same here. I ordered in the last period of february and no news since then. I post an email last week but I still have no answer... It's my first time ordering to luts so I don't know if it's always like this...

 

Does anyone know if Luts head only events (historically) usually offer faceup and including all fantasy colours?

 

That's their first (online) head only event which is why everyone went crazy when they announced it. Usually they only offer heads for a short period when they first release them.

it doesn't feel like lots people getting into the event, either i'm not at the right place or less collectors active online these days (DoA/instagram/red book).

another question, have anyone combined orders that placed a few weeks/few months apart (and only pay combined shipping instead of 2x shipping)?

 

I received my order in mid-April, so almost 6 months for a body. I think Luts has been running behind their estimates with the winter event. Unfortunately, doll companies are almost all radio silent until they ship (and in my case, I received the Luts shipping email after my order had already reached me lol) so it really is just... endless waiting...

 

Luts' Q and A board is the best way to reach them, not through email. They usually respond in 1-2 business days

Figured I would post to maybe give those that are waiting an idea of where Luts might be in terms of getting dolls ready to send out.

I received a shipping notice this morning for my order from February 18 of two blank dolls.

 

Does anyone know if a face-up can be added to an existing order? My order for KDF Lemon is from not even two weeks ago.

I wanted to do my own face-up on Lemon, but there is another doll I have that I’ve been trying to do one for. Between health issues and humidity being too high to use MSC, it’s been a month and I’ve still not been able to give one to the other doll. When Lemon arrives, I’d like to be able to enjoy her without much delay, so if it’s possible to change my order to include a face up, I think I’d like to do this.

Edit: I asked Luts about this on their Q&A and it indeed can be done They have a personal payment thing where you have to add up the various amounts to reach the right total. After that you just have to let them know again through another Q&A so that they can mark the face-up as being added to the order

This is such a relief since I was starting to stress out pretty badly over not having the face-up done on my other doll. I just wanna be able to enjoy Lemon when she arrives.

 

My KDF Kai finally came, and he is beautiful!! I’m so happy to have him! Unfortunately, the wig I got for him was the wrong size

I've decided, and placed order for 2 mdf51 heads with faceup. Going to try put them on an mdf or narin body.

So it seems you guys are getting your orders in less than ~4 months. That's nice. I ordered 3 heads with faceups on May 25th. Hopefully its about 4 months for me as well. Unless they take longer to ship because of the event. We will see its my first time ordering from Luts.

 

@Keoka Your Catnip is beautiful! I wasn’t sure how I felt about the default faceup from the company photos, but so far in user pics it looks really nice! I like Catnip more and more

@Pixeam There was an announcement that after 6 June that orders would be shipped late October and that it could be longer for parts. I ordered on 26 May so I am hoping it’s less than 4 months too, but I am mentally preparing myself not to get Lemon until late September, early October. Hopefully it’s less than 4 months for you too! What heads did you get?

 

Méloë, my Honey delf Jelly is arrived on the 30th of June ! She's still waiting for her face up, I'll share pics of her when she's ready

 

so, looking over the waitlist that's been reported on, it looks like the average wait-time is around 4-months for direct orders? I suspect it'll be closer to 4-5 months for dealer arrivals, but that's honestly probably better for me, as we're gonna be moving in 3-4 months lol

 

For direct orders, the wait time after 6 June is more like 5 months! They said that due to the volume of orders, dolls ordered after 6 June are expected to ship beginning late October, and shipped sequentially. For orders that only have parts (heads, bodies) the wait seems like it could be even longer.

If you ordered before 6 June, I think the wait is closer to 4 months.

May 23rd order of two kdf aru heads with faceup shipped yesterday!

My remaining two orders were after the cutoff so will be a while for those two

 

My Lemon KDF45 with default face-up was shipped 25 August, ordered on 28 May.

I had been so excited for her but now I’m really concerned because shipments through EMS have been suspended from South Korea to the USA, as of literally today.

Wow, thank you so much for posting this! I had not seen this notice of theirs.

They didn’t charge me extra for the premium shipping. Maybe it was today’s shipments that prompted this notice

I also had a closer look at the tracking. It’s been a long while since I’ve had anything shipped with EMS, and this is the first time I can recall seeing flight data listed on there (unless it’s always been there and I’ve forgotten). There are sites that track flight data. If what’s on the flight tracking is correct, it seems like Lemon might already be at JFK airport, just not processed for arrival yet.

I really hope this means that she’ll be here before the 29th. If so I will see what I can do, if Luts will accept the difference in shipping costs. It’s not fair to them at all for what’s going on here.

My shell head with face up ordered early June just shipped. I really needed something to cheer me up today

 

Lemon is officially at JFK — I think she was sent out right before the suspension went into effect.

I’m relieved that she made it to the USA and isn’t stuck somewhere, especially after what Luts did to get her out quickly.

So happy that she’s here and that she arrived before the 29th. Even if she hadn’t, she had been processed through customs, and it seems like that’s what mattered most.

also a head’s up — my housemate was outside when she arrived and he had signed for the package. I’m not sure if this is standard with EMS premium, but it might be.

My order at the cutoff of June 6th shipped today! Very unexpected but Lolly is on her way! Super excited. Haven't gotten a request from luts for extra shipping cost yet but will keep an eye out... and will see what happens with any other fees...but so happy she is on her way

I ordered my boys on April 11th and May 22nd from Denver Doll. I'm about 5-6 weeks in. I made the decision to buy both due to the whole tariff situation and prices probably going up. I thought it would be better to get my last two dolls. I'm hoping to see them soon, but we'll see.

 

Ohhh this makes me so happy to hear! I also have one last head to be delivered and was ordered on June 6th. I assumed they would be part of the october shipped ones but maybe I can get lucky and have mine shipped sooner.

I just got a email from Denver Doll saying my SSD Tide arrived. He weirdly arrived first vs my SD65 Carmine who was ordered first. Carmine was just paid off while I still have two payments left on my Tide, lol. Better finish those two payments so he can come home.

Well! I thought I still had to wait until October, but guess what?! Got my shipping notice! My SDF Ann head is now on her way to me.

 

The SDF Raven head I ordered June 10th arrived today! I only got the shipping notice a couple of days ago so I was very excited by his arrival.

The SDF Ann head arrived today! She is so gorgeous! The faceup is exactly what I asked for (I asked in the order notes that they try to make the faceup as close to the one pictured in Ann's sales page as possible). It is so beautiful!
It's nice to know that Luts is still one of the most reliable abjd companies out there.

 

i did not order direct... but I did order may 30th, from DDE

 

My first time ordering a doll in a long time, I ordered directly from Luts. I got a LE Ani vamp girl with faceup on a lovely active body in lavender. it’s been so long and I am so excited as the Ani sculpt was my first doll and this will be my third one lol

edit: I ordered on sep 21st.

 

the mdf51 order (with faceup) that i placed mid june (after the notification of delayed delivery) which layaway paid off mid august is already on it's way to me. took me by surprise as i was expecting it to be ready to shipped at the earliest is december.

 

6/27 order shipped. Crossing my fingers no issues with ups, so worried.

 

Not sure if it matters much but I changed my Ani girls faceup from the default to the KDF Carrot B so my girl could have freckles. I have a character planned so I am very excited I could do this!

 

My order from 10 June arrived yesterday beautifully And just as beautiful as anticipated!

 

does anyone here know how the tariff situation is being handled by Luts and their dealers?
