Luts Waiting Room V. 19

My KDF Aru is home I can't wait to get him faceupped and make his outfit.

I went through and pared down the 2020 entries. I feel fairly confident that those outstanding on the list were probably just ones who forgot to come back and update the wiki, but I don't want to remove them without being sure.

 

Checked my order today (directly through luts) and the status says queued for shipment? With an EMS tracking number (nothing found when i track it).
I wasn't expecting my dolls until September-ish. I ordered 4/22. Does this mean my dolls are actually shipping soon? Not sure if luts generates tracking early or something?

 

I would say your tracking is fairly new right now and hasn't moved yet! But, LUTS is very famous for not sending an email and changing the status on your order page. I got my winter event doll back in May (that I ordered in January) and it's still showing as 'queued for shipment' even though ... I have the doll and the EMS says delivered. xD

 

I just checked the tracking again and it has moved! I am very surprised this is so fast?? I'm not ready! Frantically looking for a wig for the Coco right now.
I was totally thinking they were just queueing mine up to be made next and just generated the tracking now or something.... or they accidentally put the tracking number on my order when it was someone else's lol. But it shows my name and everything looks correct!

Hello! Does anyone know what the wait time is for small resin pieces like hands to be shipped? I ordered two pairs of hands from Luts in RS Brown and RS Light Tan to compare to a head I have before getting a full body.

 

My Aragorn arrived yesterday unexpectedly. lol

My package got scanned into US customs this morning! Hopefully customs is not as backed up as it was for my package last month (sat at customs for almost two weeks)

A little worried about the heat too...

Bought a couple wigs from fabricfriendsdoll yesterday, will see what arrives first

 

Dolls arrived this morning! So dolls won lol. Wigs are scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

I love the color of Lio R resin. He is a little clicky / tightly strung. I think I read somewhere on here that putting them in the fetal position helps this, so I have done that for now. His face up and paw blushing is amazing. There's a subtle glitter in them. The included eyes I really really like. The wig was very intimidating but it looks amazing on him. The ears and tail are adorable.

Coco I don't like the skin color as much but I think will grow to like it.
I think I am noticing the yellow more as she is sitting right next to Lio R which isn't really fair lol. So I've learned I definitely like the browner or pinker tones. Her face up is super cute. I really like the color of the eyes she came with but don't like the eyes as a whole. I think once I change these out to a more "anime" style, she will look a lot better (to me). She is much more poseable than Lio R. Not noticing any clickiness or jerkiness with her.




I'm way behind on getting clothes etc. as I wasn't expecting to get my dolls until like September.

I'm really really happy I went with Luts for my first two resin dolls. Thank you to everyone who hung out with me in the waiting room!

I sent a message to Denver Doll asking for an update and they said Luts orders through them are taking about 8 months right now…

 

@NineOneThree In a few weeks I'll be on my 10th month of waiting through Denver Doll; I'm wishing I had just ordered directly since I've might've had my doll by now...

 

Thank you for letting me know so I’m not alone waiting. I thought ordering through DDE would save on shipping and my post office is a pain about delivering international packages but I think they should update their website so we’re not expecting the wait time of 12-16 weeks stated on there.

 

I agree, I wish they would update the estimated "12-16 weeks" wait time because I found it very misleading! I'm a little bummed out, too, because I ordered the doll as a graduation gift to myself and figured that the doll would be here on time because of the quoted wait time.

 

I agree, I would not have ordered at all if I knew it would be over 6 months. I’ve seen two for sale elsewhere in new condition since I ordered. I understand if wait times have to be extended but they should be open about that especially when it is twice as long or more!

 

Hello everyone, my Pring's status says 'queued for shipment' but it has been like that for around two weeks or so. Is this normal?

 

my lovely pring arrived without any notice! shes beautiful... ive been working everyday so no chance to take any photos yet

 

I'm almost at month 11 since ordering my Niya, and 6 months since I paid off the layaway for her this is definitely the longest I've ever waited for a doll and I've had long layaways with other dealers before. Now I know DDE is absolutely not the place to go for preordering from Luts at least :/

I feel like Luts definitely takes significantly longer through dealers. In my case that's not an issue since I'm going for a long layaway, but I can definitely see how frustrating it could be for others who pay off sooner. My Terra, who I ordered through Luts directly was only a few months of production, while my Kale, who I got through BJDivas, took about 10.

I'll definitely look forward to my Luts Diez Romantic elf sometime next year, I suppose! XD

I bought Delf Aragorn in real skin light tan yesterday! I ordered him straight from Luts. He's going to be a shell for one of my chatacters and I'm very excited about it.

 

@rainbird I just got Aragorn not too long ago! He's such an amazing sculpt. Congrats!

My order has finally shipped from Denver Doll 6 months after I ordered. I think if their expected wait times for a company go from a maximum of 16 weeks to possibly 8 months they should update the website. Their communication is good, but while I’m not hesitant to ask for an update, some buyers are.

 

@rainbird About five months. The wait wasn't too bad but it also depends on if you ordered straight from Luts or through a dealer. The wait times are far less ...er waity if you order directly from Luts. ^_^;

 

@NineOneThree I wonder if this means I'll get my order soon? I'm at a 10 months wait so I hope so, I want my Rika.

 

I hope so, I was prepared to wait 8 months so I was happy to get the notification but I can’t believe you’ve been waiting 10! Have you asked for an update? Mine was finally shipped two weeks after I asked, I wonder if that is a coincidence or just timing.

 

I recall asking in May if there was any updates on my order and they had said it was on their next shipment from Luts. I emailed them again today so hopefully I can get some good news.

 

I would think they’ve had shipments since then if mine came in, I hope you get yours soon.

 

I just got a response back from Denver Doll, and to say the least I'm not thrilled... This is what I was told:

"Yes- we just figured out that Luts accidentally deleted and cancelled the order. We've been emailing them about that order and they thought we were talking about our November orders which recently shipped. Anyhow, Luts is remaking the order and are trying to ship everything by the end of August. We will contact you as soon as your Rika arrives! Thanks for your patience!!"

I know that it's not Denver Doll's fault, but I can't help but to feel a little disheartened.

 

My late-April order has been queued for shipment for a a few days now- I have a tracking number but it looks like the package hasn't actually been handed to the courier yet. Pretty exciting that it'll be on the way soon, though! I still have one more order after that I'm waiting on, but it's not a doll or body so I didn't put it on the list (I went for some of the bunny ears and wings).

 

Oh no... now I'm worried that's what happened to my order with my SDF Niya, I placed the order last september and paid it off in february, and all I've been told by DDE is that they're still waiting on the shipment with my order and it's delayed I was expecting a longer wait from a dealer sure, but it's coming up on a year now!!

 

@ViperOrchid, I would feel the same way, even if they claim it is not their fault I have a mistrust of people and I would be hesitant to preorder from them again.

@gaymergoose, a year is definitely too long, have you emailed them in the last couple months? I’ve never heard of DDE having issues like this but if anyone has been waiting for longer than 7 months then I’d check in with customer service.

my last e-mail from them was at the start of july, I'll e-mail them again to ask for updates, but everytime I've asked they keep just reassuring me they'll let me know when my order arrives :/

 

@rainbird Shouldn't be too long. I'm currently waiting on a Claus from them I ordered in May.

 

@NineOneThree Yeah I don't think I'm going to preorder anything through Denver Doll again because now I'm paranoid of something like this happening again. I'm just going to order direct from Luts from now on and save up enough to pay upfront.

My Pring arrived a few days ago and I am really happy with her! I love the matte resin as well as her amazing faceup! I will definitely buy more cuties from Luts in the future!

 

Well, just got a confirmation, I'm in the same boat emailed DDE to ask for a monthly update and sure enough...

not gonna lie, even though I know this isn't DDE's fault, I still wish they would give those of us that have to wait something to make up for the massive delay.

 

@gaymergoose I do to. And to be totally honest, I don't think it would be realistic for Luts to fill 2 months worth of orders by the end of August. I have a bad feeling we're going to be waiting even longer than that.

 

Did anybody else nab one of those centaurs from the summer event? I ordered Yul satyresse on the boy body, with bronco and black resin and the faceup. Super excited to see what he looks like!

 

Just hopping in to join the dealer extra wait. I ordered an Eddy and a lot of clothing and wigs from Divas at the end of Jan. So I'm on 7 months. I wonder how much longer I'll need to wait. I don't even know if I want to keep the doll anymore xD I know the hobby is difficult right now and it's not Divas fault at all, but the wait time extensions for companies lately is killing me

Does anyone know what the current wait time for clothing direct from company is around?

 

I got an email from Luts about my order that's been sitting queued for shipment for the last several weeks asking me to pay more money for shipping... I've never had a company do that before Very odd. But, they said once I pay it they'll have it on its way, so I guess I'll be getting my body soon.

 

I ordered a 65 Joe in lavender and a kitty ears and tail set directly back in June I still have around a month of waiting it looks like, (glad I didn't go through a dealer :0 hope y'all get your dolls soon) but I'm really excited for him

 

Made a hands only (no dolls) and some clothes order on 7/25. Hope it ships soon, but I don't think it's going to lol

 

@Keoka I made a very similar order two months ago and haven't heard anything about it shipping so I'm expecting to wait the full three months-ish Luts normally takes for a doll order.

 

Did the clothing specifically say 'pre-order'? I know that sometimes clothes labeled as that can take 3-4 months! As for the parts though, I really have no idea on LUTS turn around time for them. The only extra parts I've ever ordered were their special bunny ears that they release around Easter time and those have like a deadline.

 

@sovayne I ordered a wig with my hands, and there wasn't any mention of the wig being a pre-order. I'm assuming the wait is largely for the hands.

 

Nope, the two clothing items I had did not say preorder. I am sure the waiting is on casting of the hands! - summer event, holidays, that order mess up I saw earlier in this thread, etc. Will wait another week or so before checking on it with them

 

My Luts Gabriel just shipped! I ordered him June 12 and was shipped Sept. 19. Not so bad of a wait!

 

Divas just told me my winter order was here finally! I'm so excited. I don't think I want the doll anymore, but I ordered him with a bunch of clothing and stuff I've been dying to have

 

I had prodded DDE for an update on my order and they told me it's supposed to be here this month, but that's what they said last month so I'm not sure if that rings true.

 

I know this was a month ago now, but please do show us what your centaur looks like, when they arrive! I was seriously tempted by the event, but ultimately didn’t cave, even though they were lovely in the preview photos.

 

Will do! Obviously I haven't heard anything yet, and it will probably be a few months, but I'll definitely share him.
