Poor guy! Well at least he won't be naked when he finally gets his body.

I should probably get bodies for some of my floating heads, but Luts just announced they're coming out with a new KDF and it's going to be one of the Custom House molds. I can't wait to see which one it is. There may be other things I have planned, but Luts owns my wallet. -_-;

Turns out I'd actually gotten a shipping notice for my pumpkin head... Google's overly aggressive spam filters just hid it from me. Updated the Wiki with the ship date for my order, and if anyone else has ordered through MoC, be sure to check your spam folder (especially if you're using Gmail)!

Ordered Succubus Lazuli fullset in brown, Incubus Lapis fullset in white. Did Layaway because I didn't even know about them until the week before it ended. Lapis will be Joel my lucifer from one story line and Lazuli will be Isabel a recurring demon from a few different story lines. Excited and driving myself crazy waiting on them. Still no shipping notice but it's full set so I fear I have a while to wait

 

Definitely going to be a while. They're so backlogged right now they've suspended buying option parts and the body blushing services. I'm in the same boat there. I ordered a fullset too. Let's (im)patiently wait together.

 

So are you counting down the days and stalking their website too? I've started felling like I'm in a post apocalyptic novel searching for water...I'm thinking of ordering other things and dolls from other companis just to break up the agonizing wait

Removal from the waiting list wiki page was changed from 3 weeks to 1 year about a week ago and the older orders that were never added to the list when it moved have been added now to reflect this. Everything from before the list was moved should be on the wiki page now.

The only thing "missing" would be suggested abbreviations which could be helpful. The list previously posted in this thread did not have them listed, and it doesn't have to be added but if someone wants to, feel free to add it to the wiki page

 

Got my Bory today, unfortunately my event head is missing. I've contacted LUTS hopefully they'll send him out soon. Otherwise everything else was perfect

I haven't posted one yet, my friend recorded it for me since I lent my camera to someone so I need to get the video from her.

 

Oo please I'm eager to see more box openings from them. Also sorry bout missing the head. Happy they are sending the replacement. Guess they really got swamped. Did you get any extras?

 

Extras as in freebies? No, but I ordered some extra stuff like wigs string and some magnets for another doll

 

I'm tempted to get more things added to my order, clothes and wigs but...I may just wait until after I get them. Still not sure how they will prefer to dress

I think he'll be here Saturday, though with how my luck has been running lately, I'll have to wait and pick him up at the post office Monday. As for the box opening, I am usually too excited to remember, but I will try to.

I ordered from Denver Doll Emporium and they said it would take around three months. So I will be here awhile. At least when she comes I will have a wig, eyes, and some clothes for her.

 

I was lucky enough to order fullset so they will be ready out the box hopefuly. I may have to change their eyes and wigs. Gives me time to work on my other babies

Hi, Luts waiting friends!

I was wondering if any of you have ever purchased or received resin samples from Luts.

I am working on ideas for a hybrid, but it's a tan skin one, so I'd really need more than photos to go with, in determining where to purchase the body. I created a post on the Q&A to ask Luts if they'd send me samples, but I have no idea if they do that or not..

Any experience?

 

Not super-long. I ordered him January 5th. So 2.5 months, give or take?

 

I haven't tried getting samples from the company, but you might be just as well asking for resin comparison pics on DoA. I have a Realskin Brown Model Delf. Which tan were you trying to match and with what other company's resin?

 

Jan 5th was only 2.5 months ago...God feels like an eternity for me...I did mine Jan 16 but made the first payment on the 20th or 21


To be honest I didn't even know you could get resin samples. I may have to try that soon.

 

My doll was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but he's still in Houston. Not that I was going to be able to get him yesterday since I was in Galveston, but I could have gone by the post office this morning before work. Now I'll have to wait till Monday since there's no one home all day. Ugh!

I'm only..three months late in adding myself to the wiki page. I'm such a horrible lurker, I never post anything but I watch everyone and have little moments of happy whenever your dolls arrive

Still waiting on my Karis from Luts. Ordered Dec 19. He was on layaway through MoC and so he's not paid off yet anyway but I've gotten no word he's even come in to them yet so even though I could pay him off early I've opted not to. His final payment will be this week anyway so I guess that doesn't much matter now lol.

 

He is so pretty. Where did you get his clothes from?

Hopefully you will hear from MoC soon about your doll. How much longer til you've paid it off?

So I got my box yesterday, but haven't been able to open it. The carrier (it was NOT my regular guy) forged my signature and left it at my door. I was completely stressed out about it for four hours. That's when someone finally got home and told me the box was there. I'm going to give myself the rest of the day to calm down from the frustration and try to open him after work. I just really don't want these feelings to transfer to him. Especially since parts of the fullset are going to three or four different dolls.

 

Thank you I pay him off this Friday (3/31) so it's just the waiting game beyond that.

 

Oh my God I would be losing my mind. I freaked out about dhl leaving my last doll at my gouse. The only upside was I was on the way to my office so I took a quick detour and got to my house about 15 minutes after he left. Right now I have my orders going to a friend's house since there is someone there more than my own place.

De-stress and hopefully this.moment won't imprint on your doll.

It won't take long after for MoC to ship him if he's there right?

 

Thank you so much. Actually, I had to make them. Little punk refused to wear anything I had ready for him. Thankfully he inspired me and what would normally take me a couple of months I managed to do in one day. He's not finished yet but these will do until I can make/add more to him.

I'm going to go down to the post office and file an official complaint with the Post Master. Also, the carrier who picks up mail at the CPU I work at said that I could actually file charges against him since he forged my signature.

 

Thank you. And wow, you're right. That is an actual criminal charge he could be in big trouble. I bet he just didn't want to lug that big box around. That's the main reason I have so much trouble getting my packages. And also the main reason I didn't even try to reschedule my Bory's delivery. He got lost in the airport for a whole day and didn't make it to customs until almost 24 hours after he hit US soil. And then they kept changing his expected delivery date from Monday, to Friday, then Saturday. They actually tried to deliver him early enough Friday that I should have, technically been able to reschedule him for redelivery Saturday but since they redeliver only when they want to and I didn't want to miss him again, I had to beg someone to give me a ride to the post office. Thats why I got him Saturday.

 

From reviews I've seen, MoC is very good at sending out items very shortly after they get them so I have utmost faith they will. But they also send you a notice when the item in question ships from the manufacturer and I haven't gotten that yet so I'm fairly certain my boy hasn't even left his origin country yet, lol. It doesn't help that I also ordered some Dollzone eyes in the same order and no shipping notice on those either so..one way or another, one of the companies will likely hold back the order even after the other one ships to MoC. That was my error, getting over eager and not splitting my order like a sensible person would.

I'm not worried though, just impatient. More time to hang out here and be excited for everyone else who see their dolls coming in!

:-O He forged your signature!!??? Good golly, who even does that? My mail carrier has done some shady stuff before but nothing like forging a signature Especially something so easily traceable..he must have been under a lot of stress to do something like that but it still doesn't make it okay. Not even remotely. I am so so sorry that happened to you. I'd definitely file a formal complaint with the Post Master, that's a very big concern.

Got my missing event head today, also came with a free pair of eyes :P. Was ready for me way faster than I was expecting lol.

Hi guys I hope I'm not to late to join the waiting room! I was a bit confused on how the wiki worked so I was a little hesitant to edit but I got it now I've ordered BDF Daisy on march 10th! It is my first time ordering a doll from Luts so I am really excited I've noticed the ship out dates tends to be after 2-3 months. Its only march 28th and I am just too impatient! I keep searching for luts related topic threads to keep my sanity stable

 

Yay! Another first time LUTS orderer! :B LUTS does seem to have a pretty quick turn around from what I'm seeing on the wiki, which is really cool. The benefit of a larger company perhaps? I'm so excited for you to receive your Daisy! I was just looking at her the other day. She has my absolute favorite style for younger girl types of dolls. Those large eyes, plump cheeks, cute little lips >_< She's really precious I hope your wait time for her isn't too long and I'll be so excited to see pictures when she arrives!

I've always wanted a doll thats 35~45cm and has a 'child' or 'baby' looks to it I find chubby feature dolls too cute! When I was searching for the doll that has the features that I've mentioned, I came upon Luts BDF line and I just instantly fell in love over Daisy and Gabriel I chose Daisy because she won my heart (her face is so adorable). When I saw her, I had the image right away in my head of what she would be wearing and the color theme etc. I've already ordered her clothes thats being custom made just for her! (Please look forward to it) She is going to have brown hair, vibrant green eyes or brown eyes, wearing a cute pink floral 'alice' themed dress with brown shoes that match her hair! I am getting more impatient because her eyes have arrived and her clothes will be here in mid April

 

I was finally able to open my box. I sadly did not take any pictures of the fullset because I was to impatient to get him set up. I decided to put the Bory head on an Illusion Spirit (I think) body I have. I like the look, but the resin match isn't that great. Of course, he does have some rather unfortunate body blushing. I think once I wipe and redo the body, the match will be much better. I also need to find the poor boy some pants. -_- Anyway, this is Vayne.



I gave the body and wings to one of the event heads I have, I think it's the winter '15 head. I can post a pic of him later.

 

Hi everyone! I'm very, VERY new, to both the forum and the hobby, so apologies in advance if I'm doing something wrong - but I just placed an order for my very first bjd, a HDF Raphael! I have no idea how I'm going to wait out the next few months before I get her... I'm really excited! She'll be my display pic once I have her, but for now I'm just going to have the generic angel display pic, heh.

(Do I also have to edit the wiki to include my Raphael?)

Hi Its great to see new people join in the forum and the hobby! Great choice for your first bjd HDF lines are so cute and I really love all their sculpts. I totally understand on how tough its going to be as we all are in the waiting game! I'm also very impatient and I keep lurking around the site to look.. I try to ease my mind from going crazy lol What are your plans for your doll? do you have any characteristic that you thought of? I think that is one of the most fun part about this hobby! You can be so creative >_<

Oh and as for the wiki page, I edit mine in so I could keep track! I think it helps other people to see when and how long it takes on the production time and shipping time!

 

I can understand your plight. I'm losing my sanity a bit more everyday and I didn't have much to begin with. Being here helps, stalking yt and instagram and tumblr for pictures helps, stalking the website doesn't really help ease my suffering but I keep doing it cuz well...crazy...welcoming the the waiting room and we can all go mad together.

He is just too friggin cute. I do love the blushing on his ears.
