My Fairyland RealFee centaur arrived today. He is a bit bigger than the Tiny Delf centaurs, but makes a good big brother for the little one:

I want a Mytyl so bad. I would get her brown skin elf on the 20 body. Sigh.

 

Same with me but after times I decided to buy her in 16cm as 20cm quite slim I prefer her more chubby!

 

Did people find all the Easter Eggs? I did and got a $15 coupon. I ordered a basic Tiny Delf Gretel because my Tiny Delf Hansel keeps asking where Gretel is. ;-)

 

I soo want a Gretel to join my Hansel and Dorethy, but I totally forgot about the egg hunt and missed it

 

I missed the hunt too and I'm also on the Gretel wagon! Lol

 

Oh my! I was incredibly lucky and I won the Tiny Delf Yeondu on the egg hunt lottery! It's hard to believe as I usually have no luck and never win anything!

I was planning on buying some things for my incoming Hansel using the Easter coupon. But I'm not sure how to select it at checkout. ^^; I don't see an option to use it. Maybe it's not showing up because I'm on mobile? (Also is it spend 100 total or 100 before shipping cost?)

I think it must be 100 before shipping cost. I ordered Gretel and the coupon showed up without problems.

 

I missed the easter event T__T oh noes...

I have a beautiful 'Alice' at home and she has been tempting me to get more Tiny Delfs. Currently a Gretel or another Alice are on her wishlist. It's so very tempting to give in to her whims...

I wonder if they'll rerelease the grey Tiny Delfs for Halloween. Not too sure if I want one in grey yet though...

What a darling little lady. Might I ask if they were only available in the elf ear version or did Luts offer them in human version as well? I doubt Luts will do the same Halloween event twice in a row but one can hope.

They are so adorable. Congratulations on their arrival. Your Gretel makes me impatient about ordering one for myself. Momo looks very nice too o_o I didn't expect to like the sculpt that much.

 

Has anyone else seen the notice on luts about the new tdf bodies? They're releasing pictures early this month supposedly. I wonder what they're changing on the bodies?

The notice doesn't say much... Intriguing. I find the current body quite fine so I'm wondering what are they looking to improve.

 

I wonder what will happen to those dolls that are currently on order. Will they be shipped with the old body or new body?

 

Since they're already ordered, probably the current bodies. It didn't say anything about discontinuing the current body. Maybe it'll be a choice system now?

 

The note says: "The present body parts will be discontinued." So I assumed they won't be producing the old body any more.

 

Oops. I must have skipped over that part. My bad. But would they just change the body on existing orders without notice?

 

So, the new body is up and I.....do not like. It lost the cute shape! It's so blocky and square now and now I'm hesitating on ordering Jack in the future. I might have to find one off the 2nd hand market *sigh* I used to own Gretel and her body was the greatest little cute shape (I only sold her because I had to move and needed money bad. I regret it to this day). I am yet again disappointed with Luts' body modifications (ogod the MDF's).

 

I'm kinda liking it. I do like that the chest piece isn't so narrow, but I kinda wish they kept the older body too. Does anyone else think the new body seems a tad shorter too?

 

I think the new body does not look too bad, I think the shape is more like that of Lati - which is all right to me. I think it looks a bit better when the chest part is not so narrow. However, I hope they will send my Gretel with the old body so that the dress I made for her will fit. If the new body is much fatter, the dress might not fit.

It would be nice if they kept the old body as an option, but one never knows...

Hi all, sorry about the noobish question, I'm kinda new to Luts and this is the most active thread for them that I could find. I signed up for an account with them but I'm wondering if they send out some sort of newsletter whenever there's an update? I can't find where to subscribe to it if it exists and just signing up for an account didn't seem to subscribe me...

 

@sno4wy they don't have a newsletter that I know of. But they have Notice section on their site where they post updates.

 

Sno4wy - I don’t get updates directly from them, but they post them on their site. If there is a newsletter I’m not sure so I’ll let someone else answer that!

I won’t say right off the bat that I don’t like the new body... I liked the shape of the chest before like others have said, but this one looks pretty nice too especially from the 3/4 view and how it fits to the arms. I’m just glad it’s not as blocky as... another brand in particular. I’ll just wait and see.

Also interested to see how the knees work better. I do like how they’re curved down more naturally.

I am concerned about them fitting the centaur body the same so I’m gonna ask. The new Akka face is adorable though!

 

I don’t know how I feel about the new body. I’ve awfully fond of the ones I already have. The new heads are cute though!

I’ve never gotten a newsletter or any update emails. But, they do make updates on Facebook and I see those.

 

I was looking into a Tiny20 Hansel for a character I have in mind. Does anyone have a Tiny20 they can take a picture of next to a KDF or other standard MSD? Thanks in advance and your dolls are all adorable

 

@stellarphenomena Thanks for the quick reply! I've been wanting to jump on the tiny delf train for a while and finally have a character in mind for it I want her to be a sprite, who's significantly smaller than my Model Delfs, but not too child like. Looks like this will be a good match!

Yes, I think this might be the most interesting thing. My tiny delf body poses amazingly when standing, but so far, sitting and kneeling aren't its favorite thing.

 

Oh my...I'm not sure what to make of the new body. I like the fact the arms are closer to the body and the new knees look alright although a change wasn't really needed. I'm not too sure about the new body shape though. I adored how the old body looked around the belly and chest area. I'd have to see the new body in real life to properly judge it though.

The new heads have potential but they don't appeal to me right now. I hope I'll be able to postpone ordering a new Tiny Delf until their Halloween Event but they're making it very tempting with that new body.

 

So I asked Luts if the new TDF body would work with the centaur body and here's what they said,
"Unfortunately New Tiny Delf body is not compatible with Tiny Delf SATYRESS.
However it is compatible with Tiny Delf clothes. "
I'm very very disappointed about that.

Fine, I'll have to sculpt my own when I get Gretel :P

I usually never win anything at any lottery, so I was really surprised when I won Yeondu at Luts Easter lottery. He/she arrived together with Gretel. The bunny ears look too big, so I'll not use them. Now he/she needs a face up.

And *sigh* I want a Gretel so bad but I have to find one secondhand due to the body update and incompatibility with the centaur body. ><
