THEY'RE UP! What's everyone getting?

I'm getting a choco cookie Tyltyl in real skin brown with deer antlers. I probably was not early enough to get the horse tail, but the deer version is very cute, and I have been hoping for a long time that Luts would rerelease the tiny centaurs because I missed them when they first came out.

 

I got a Choco Cookie Zeze in real skin normal with faceup and deer antlers. ^^ No body blushing or human legs.
I did however get the Little Fairy outfit in Mint to get my total up to the next gift bracket (good excuse to get one of those adorable clothes!). ^^ I asked for two wigs instead of shoes but I'm not sure of the answer so we'll see... I also asked for different style of eyebrows - I thought I saw someone request that before and it was approved? But I dunno! XD

 

I added a wig (TDW-20 Orange peach) because I thought the color would go nicely with the brown centaur with gold parts, so I got to the next gift bracket, too (I also got a face up, so I was sooo close). I put a note that I would prefer boy shoes but I don't know if they'll just send random shoes and wigs that have not been selling well. My tiny Delf Hansel could use a pair of shoes...

 

Ooh that does sound pretty. ^^ I'll be looking forward to seeing that combination. Plus Tyltyl is my favorite sculpt Well, before Zeze came along that is. I really like her. |D I'm just hoping I'll get a free wig that'll look nice on mine haha. And all of my dolls are tiny centaurs so no shoes needed here! :P

 

@Lacybug I hope they do approve your eyebrows. Luts is such a nice company. Your Zeze sounds adorable.

@spih Oh, your kid sounds cute too! Tyltyl is one of my favorites. I hope you were able to get the tail.

After seeing the Fairyland event, this became a really hard choice. But I chose a Tiny Delf, just because I love the new gold color and how it looks with the pink. I went with Gretel in white skin with ram horns. Super nervous about that but I think it will work. I also bought two wigs and a part for my kid delf. I'm hoping for nice flats for my honey delf sized dolls. I ordered this morning so I don't think I got the tail.

 

They did approve both of my requests! So just so you all know, they can sub the shoes for another wig, and small faceup *exchanges* are ok. For instance you can ask for “dorothy’s lips” or “jack’s eyebrows” on another sculpt. So I requested Tyltyl eyebrows on my Zeze. I do love Luts, they’re so nice!

I really do hope I got the extra tail too, but who knows at this point. I was almost two hours late to the release so I’m not sure how many got in before then. Doesn’t seem like too much time to me but I know how these things can be. XD

Yay a Gretel! She still has to wait her turn on my list since Zeze pushed her out. XD But I’m glad you got her after all. I can still look forward to seeing a Gretel hehe. The white skin on the pink body with the gold peices sounds absolutely lovely! The ram horns were super cute too, but I had my heart set on antlers.

 

That's so nice of them to give your girl different eyebrows. I have to admit, I took an embarrassingly long time deciding between antlers and horns. They're both cute.

I'm so curious now about the tail! I don't even know if I would use it. But it would be a nice option.

Something unexpected came up so I will only be able to get one centaur. I'm torn between Tyltyl and Peter. Peter was the first TDF sculpt that I genuinely liked, but Tyltyl also has such a cute and irresistible face. Which one should I get?!

 

Well, Tyltyl is my favorite sculpt, so I’m a little biased. XD But I would say get the one you love the most so you don’t regret it later I haven’t seen a whole lot of Peters around so that could be fun to have something different!

I just placed the order for my two!! I ordered a strawberry pink Gretel and a milkshake Momo, both with RSB. All of my Luts dolls are in RSB. It's one of my favorite resins. I thought Momo was just to adorable and would make a cute sister to Gretel. I ordered both horn types and can swap them out if needed. I didn't get the body blushing. I have different plans than the gold and I hope I can dye or paint the gold resin to suit my plans. I want to make fiber tails for the girls. I sort of have a vision of the pretty centaurs from the Disney film Fantasia in mind. I want to make them flower garlands and headdresses to wear. I'll be getting wigs and other accessories later on.

 

Ooh that sounds like a lovely project. I think I’ve always been fond of centaurs because of how pretty they are depicted in Fantasia! How are you hoping to get the hooves to look? And I can’t wait to see how you make fiber tails, I hadn’t even thought of doing that (except for my zebra for whom I made a more zebra-like tail).

Does anyone have a Heidi to show me? I'm having trouble bonding/figuring out what to do with mine :c

 

Aw, I don't have one, Lacybug. I just have the three Gretels and a Peter. But I'm sure I've seen them here before.

Can anyone tell me what skin color she is exactly? Bought her secondhand as "tan" but there are several types of tan?

 

Has anyone tried to hybrid a Lati Yellow and Luts tiny delf centaur by putting the LY torso in the horse body? I know people have done it with Pukifee so I was wondering if anyone has tried.

 

I'm hoping for a Hansel centaur this time, but do I get a Gretel centaur too or go big and get a Kid Delf centaur with it. The tinies are just sooo cute they're hard to resist.

I'm typing from my phone so I can't link you to the whole album but that Flickr user has several pictures of their Lati/TDF centaur hybrids. Perhaps you can contact them.

 

There's no difference between a Luts event and non event time is there?

I'm thinking of getting Gretel Elf Tiny Delf in tan (the lighter brown), but I'm already looking to get a Hansel Tiny Delf centaur and a Kiid Delf centaur this event, so I'll still be able to get Gretel as an elf and in the tan colour in a couple of months won't I? I can't see mention of anything being event specific, but I thought I'd check.

Albeit, I'm still not certain if I should wait for the next Tiny Delf centaur event and have her as a centaur too but with a different tail/hooves colour. I'll have to look up how long ago the last centaur events were to estimate when the next one might be, and see.

 

I believe the last centaur release was in 2015?
The only thing event limited would be the centaur body. They have seperate listings for the TDF elves which are available always.

That's perfect, although that is a long gap between centaurs, I hadn't realised it was so long.

 

I kinda wish they would give us a choice about the elf ears though... Love all the sculpts and I would love an elf Gretel, but the point ears look too thin to me. One drop and I can picture them having to be glued back on. I prefer the ears like Glenda and Tytyl (both of which are also on my list).

 

I was just looking at the Angelesque (UK) website to check over the order I'm going to place, and had a couple of sudden questions -

Does anyone know if I can order up to Feb 14th with Angelesque too, or would I need to place the order earlier to go through in time?

Also, I had been thinking about getting a tan Tiny Delf Hansel on the pink centaur body, and then swapping halves with my existing normal Dorothy on a white Centaur body, but then I began to wonder which colours work together and how dark is Real Skin Brown?

Does a brown upper body work on a pink, brown, or white centaur body? or do any of the colour combinations not work as well?

 

@Donna80 I love how pastel colors look with rsb/tan. This is a rsb on a white body. Not sure if this is rsb or tan, but on a pink body. On the brown body. And this one is on the blue (mint?) Body. None of these are my dolls, I just did a quick search on flikr and this is what I've found. And as for the real skin brown... This is my rsb Kiwi (Hansel) next to my Cashew a lati yellow Kuroo in ns. I hope this helped!

Ah so your Hansel is brown - they are both gorgeous - I think for some reason I'm having trouble telling the difference between brown and if there's a separate tan in some photos I've been Googling. It looks as though all the colour combinations work then, except perhaps brown on pink, but that could just be lighting, or light tan?

 

I have all the bodies except brown, so I can take more pics if you need. ^^ The torso on the ns human legs I’m 99% sure is RSB since it came on the mint body and I believe that’s all that was offered at the time? But there’s a chance I could be wrong. Can anyone tell?

I took the tan torso off the mint body because personally I like the paler skin with the pastel tones better.

 

Yeah, the colours suit Normal beautifully, and that mint tone is so cute.

I've only got NS Luts so far, but I cant help but wonder if I might prefer brown, at least against the white centaur body.

I stick with my first impulse and see what he'll look like in person.

 

Oh, I know you'll love him. They look great in any skin tone. I love both my normal and brown skin dolls.

I'm so not ready for these two!! They arrived today without a shipping notice. Omg, I didn't think I ordered early enough for the centaur tails but apparently I did. I need wigs and eyes! I haven't had any time to make any of their things because work has been crazy. I need to find magnets for their horns. Luts didn't send extra to put inside the head cap. I have so much to do. I'm really pleased with them. Look at this cuteness!

Oh how cute! Did they at least update the status of the order at the Luts site? I've been checking mine, but it only says "payment confirmed". I ordered on the first day, so if the centaurs are starting to arrive now, I'm hoping to get mine soon, too.

I just wanna say... I’m extremely impressed with Luts. Getting these orders *shipped* in less than two months, after a big event. They were so fast!

I’m glad I already added magnets to my girl that’s going to get the horns though.

 

Thank you! I ordered on Dec 18. Not the first day but I believe within the first week. I got delf65 clothing for my event gift. Which is awesome. My guys will be happy with new clothes. Luts updated the status after I received them. I was so surprised to see the box when I got home from work.

Congrats Lacybug! I hope she arrives safely. My shipping box was damaged, and Momo's dollbox was a bit beat up. Thankfully she wasn't damaged.

 

You got the horse tail though you did not order on the first day? Wow! I ordered on the first day, about an hour after the event opened, so I should get a horse tail, too! Now I just wish they would ship my little centaur soon...

I ordered the day after it opened and got the horse tail. But I haven't gotten the magnets yet for her horns.




The wig is my free gift. I love how it looks so much better than the blond one I chose. I also didn't notice at first how different the face-up is. She has reddish eyelashes! It's so pretty and delicate.

I'm glad I got a carrot wig as my little gift too! It matches the faceup perfectly.

The "golden" parts however, are nearly identical to the orange ones.

And then I had also ordered this outfit. and oh my goodness is it cuuuute!!

Does anyone else find it interesting that we got a different model of hands than usual..?

 

@Lacybug your Zeze is adorable! The wig looks so pretty. And that outfit is sooo cute! It's perfect.

The gold is pretty close to orange I guess. I think it's slightly lighter compared to my Honey Centaur's parts. But that might be because the resin is thicker.

Oh and too true about the hands. I noticed that with my grey tiny.

No you're right, the new gold is lighter than the orange. Just not *enough* of a difference for me personally. I'll just have to get my hands on the older gold pieces somehow, is all!

My little centaur arrived today! Meet Bambi:

The peach gold wig I ordered matches the golden parts perfectly. I changed the eyes, though. The default violet eyes were pretty but the color did not look good with the brown/gold colorway. I used some grey eyes I had in stock though I think sparkly golden eyes would be even more perfect.

 

Luts also sent nice extras with the order. Though I did not think I was fast enough, I got the horse tail. I asked for Tiny Delf sized shoes and wig as the event gift. I wrote a note that I would prefer boy shoes, if possible. I did get nice boots that would work as well for a boy or a girl and I got a short carrot wig that is a good boy wig, too.

Hansel is very pleased with his new boots. And Bambi would look as cute as a horse as a deer. It's hard to decide which is cuter. Fortunately the parts are magnetic, so they are easy to change. I think the lighter colored wig looks better even for the horse because it matches the tail color.

I think someone mentioned that the centaur hands are different than the default Tiny Delf hands but Hansel's hands are the same as the centaurs. I suppose Luts has changed the default hand shape of the Tiny Delfs at some point.
