Luts Tiny Delf Discussion Part 7

Her arms are a little floppy, but not too bad, her legs aren't though, so I suppose I would describe her stringing as "variable".

She is so tiny and delicate compared to my Littlefee, it's hard to get used to, I keep thinking I am going to snap her tiny limbs.

 

@perfectionismxx I hope you can get used to her. She is an adorable sculpt.

I do hope there is a LUTS Halloween event. Even if I don't buy any, I still love seeing cute Halloween dolls. Maybe I will finally get that pumpkin head.

I ordered during the last fantasy skin color event through a dealer and the dolls arrived a little while ago.

I ordered an elf Alice in their grey skin and while she is absolutely stunning I'm also a little sad. I was hoping to get her with v.1 elf ears and it seems my girl came with the v.2 elf ears. The dealer is trying to sort it out but I'm pretty worried. Chances are that even if it can be rectified that it'll be outside the window that gave me the opportunity to ignore custom fees.

 

I just realized my post never made it in with the quote! Anyway, I too just ordered a Gretel. I think the eyes are going to be very important and I am learning (as I am new to bjd) that just because they come with size 12 eyes doesn't mean you always have to use size 12 eyes. Gretel seems to be a sculpt that would surely benefit from larger eyes!

 

I splurged and ordered a Tiny delf Alice yesterday

Haven't bought a new doll in so long and I'm so excited to restart my hobby again. They are so cute and I've wanted one for years.

 

Is the Gretel in the back right side Luts Brown or Luts tan skin?

Welcome back to the hobby~! Alice is darling. I should know because I own 3 myself and my SO has another one. She's my favorite Tiny Delf so far.

 

Thanks! I love her large innocent eyes. She is going to be a girl although I can see her face as a little boy too. I ordered her in the "normal skin" color. My Hanael Tiny Delf comes tomorrowalso in "normal skin". I will have both in the natural color. My plan, for now is to have 3. I need to think about the third in a different color! I love looking at all the different Tinies in the pictures in this thread. I was originally planning to stick to 1/3 size but all the wonderful pictures here won me over!

 

They really are wonderful pocket dolls, you won't regret it ^__^ Getting two at once is pretty awesome though. I look forward to seeing your Hanael and Gretel here. I only own the Real Skin Normal and Real Skin Brown but they're both gorgeous. The Mint Blue and Grey we own at the house are awesome too but they aren't standard colors.

Currently still waiting for the replacement head for my little Grey Alice. I really need to photograph our two fantasy colored babies and post them here. They look so cute with all the others.

 

I ordered 2, but I have to wait for Gretel. (She is pre-ordered. Hanael should be coming today. It is almost 10:00am her rams I keep looking to see if she’s come yet.

 

I’d really like to see a group picture with all the colors! That would be awesome!

Rose, although I'm thinking I might call her flower, (Rose seems too formal for her. ) got new eyes - fairy type eyes and an new "little girl" type outfit. I mean, after all, sometimes you need all that scratchy stuff off and dress like a little girl.

Any Tiny Delf Muriel?

 

Not sure if this is helpful to anyone, but my Tyltyl from PullipStyle arrived yesterday and some of my OMG Big Sister and Na! Na! Na! Surprise clothes where ready to wear. Big Sister clothes need to be sleeveless because the Tiny Delf arms won't fit through the long sleeves. The mini skirts for the Big Sisters will be calf length, but they absolutely fit, and so do the panties. Pop B.B. comes with three things Tiny Delf can wear right out of the box (plus she's gorgeous).

I don't have my new baby's wig or eyes yet, they're in the mail.... none of this stuff is her aesthetic, but she's probably more comfortable waiting around with hair and clothes.

 

@blue_wysteria , Your Tytle is very pretty! I do love finding out when regular doll clothing fits the bjd dolls. It's very helpful especially before you have a chance to get clothing especially made for the doll.

Hello, All!

I've been pondering how to greatly expand my Tiny Delf's wardrobe without breaking the bank, and I wondered if there are cheaper doll clothes that will fit her just as well. If so, what lines do these clothes come from, and where can they be purchased?

 

I haven't found anything. Barbie clothing is too narrow and long and the smaller dolls in the Barbie line are too small. @blue_wysteria mentions a few commercial doll clothing up a few posts that fit TinyDelfs .(OMG Big Sister and Na Na Na Suprise). I'm not familiar with those. I buy most of my clothing for Tinydelfs on Etsy. Clothing that fits Pukifees and LatiYellow usually fit TinyDelfs. Some are not horribly expensive and I also make a lot of their clothing myself, but sewing for the tiny dolls is not for everyone.

 

Ylang garden, which you can also get on her site on Etsy, is very well made for a good price.

 

You can also buy directly from Ylang Garden on Etsy. Depending on where you live the shipping might be better than Doll Peddlar.

 

Does anyone know if Middie Blythe clothes fit the Tiny20 body? I can't find measurements for Middie Blythe anywhere.

 

My Tiny20 Alice that I posted a few pages ago is wearing middie blythe dress in that photo, it fits her but is maybe a bit short.


Here she is wearing a regular Blythe dress, which is a little big on her but not so much that it looks ridiculous (I think).
She also has some new eyes which I love on her.

 

She's very cute! Part of my challenge is my hybrid on the Tiny20 body is a boy. I'm going to order a few things rom Etsy and hope they fit!

 

@Leo Pheonix If the tiny 20 body is the regular tiny delf body, check out Ylang Garden on Etsy. She has a lot of boy clothing for tinies.

 

Anything made for Lati Yellow or Pukifee is too big for him. I compared his measurements to Fairyland's Pukifee size charts, and he's 5cm taller and thinner by at least a centimeter.

Added: The Parabox shoes for 22/27cm female dolls fit my Tiny20's feet, though they're snug. I got half-boots with laces. The Parabox grey hoodie made for 22cm dolls also fits him. Its a bit big, but its a hoodie, so it works.

 

I have made a mix-and-match wardrobe for Usva (my Tiny Defl Yeondu). This way I can get lots of oufits from a few pieces:

@PoeticSoul ty, I know! They are great aren't they? I got very lucky as they are the eyes Luts sent her with! I was having a hard time choosing eyes when I was waiting, was thinking of settling on a dark purple, but when I open the box and saw my little bubblewrap mummy staring at me with those big blue eyes, I knew they were hers ^^

 

Bought some 1/8 clothes off a friend so my Jack Elf can finally wear something boy-ish instead of the spare dress I've had him in for a bit.
