So I'm kinda obsessed with the new boy Rain and I like the slim superior body lookswise, but do people have a conclusion about the posing?

 

I'm wondering if Luts mark dolls down still?

 

I'm wondering this, too! I want to upgrade the body for one of my Iple boys - no way it could be worse, right? haha

 

I bought a second hand slim body and it's great! I highly recommend getting some like... Iplehouse SID girl elastic for the torso and maybe a bigger s hook for the head because my s hook got lodged in his neck real bad which made restringing scary. He's really flexible and stays in his poses really well.

That would be amazing! Please take your time, though. Honestly, if it does more than just stand, I'm pretty happy. My old Iple body is pretty but he can't do much, haha. Anything is an improvement!

I know I owe y'all pictures of Albrecht, I'll get them soon, I still need to get a ssdf Rain and the new boy Aurora I want to get the head of so I can turn him into an obnoxious twink lol

 

I'm seriously just stuck with taking photos but I will say, he's stable, and does stand well, but I hate restringing him. The hip bars make basically no sense and luckily the new active body is getting rid of them in favor of how the kdf muse bodies are strung. I have heard good things about the posability and the lack of hip bar so if you've been waiting for a ssdf lad I say go for the active body. lutsdoll co.,ltd.

I caved and ordered a Glacier head in gray! XD Kind of excited!

 

Did Luts stop selling the SSDF's? I was looking at them today, trying to decide if I want to order one of their boys for a character, or go with another doll, and all of them appear to be sold out, now.

 

No, I just checked on my end and they're not all sold out. Maybe try refreshing? I keep meaning to buy Rain but he keeps getting lost in the shuffle amongst everything else.

 

Yeah, my wife checked and saw that the unlimited dolls were all still available, so I must have been seeing the listings for the limiteds or something, it was so weird. lol

Now, the next question; can you order a Gale with a superior body, or only the regular body? Shine has the option for body selection, but not Gale, and that's one of the things that's going to make it easier for me to decide between the two of them.

 

I'd shoot them a question under Gale's listing just to make sure because even with ssdf my choice that wasn't showing up.
As a word of advice, I highly recommend going with the active version of the superior body because they finally got rid of the terrible leg pegs they had on the original superior body for restringing.

 

I think they may be pausing orders temporarily in order to catch-up - I ordered an SSDF Superior body at the end of January and they mentioned a large volume of orders even then. Luts is usually very good at communicating if something is discontinued, so I wouldn't worry!

 

Oh hey btw for anyone buying a head with the 25th anniversary event like I swear I'm finally getting Rain.... I measured the superior slim body neck by the S hook and that end is 10cm exactly for hybrids. DF-H matches luts white and normal, and 2ddoll has an obitsu white swatch which is what luts peach is supposed to match.
