Hi all!

Joining in to share a pic of my first SD. His name is Adam, and I love him!

Your Adam is gorgeous! And I love his dragon tattoo. When Luts had Abadon on sale earlier this year, I was sooo tempted to get him, but he got bumped by another doll that was higher priority. I still have my sights set on him though.

Yay or handsome boys! My Abadon had his body taken again so I don't have any new pictures to share.

I really like the romantic version of Avalanche that is out now. I liked him before, but I like the new version better with the narrower eyes.

 

Avalanche has always been a favorite of mine, and I just love the new romantic version of him. With his narrower eyes and little smile, he looks like he's plotting something.

I just ordered a Shinsengumi outfit for my Regen, so when that comes in, I'll have new pictures of him to spam.

I have wanted a SSDF for some time now. But no of the head sculpts were enough mature or masculine looking for me. And eyes are a bit to big for the manly character I've got in mind.

But I knew that depending on the skin color and face-up even a SSDF can get real masculine and hunky. So I googled Cane which is the SSDF sculpt that I have been most interested in. And I find a picture of an unpainted Cane. And I was happy to see that he look like that manly hunk that I had in mind.

I need a man for my future My Choice Delf Boy (SDF Frey). So If I ever get a SSDF, Cane is the man

Ah, the new Avalanche is literally slaying me >3>;;; I have a very particular fixation to narrow-eyed smirky men if we're to go by what my three holy grail dolls used to be... but all things considered the original Avalanche fits C's personality better so I bear with it! xD

I have a few photos of C from our mini-meet last Tuesday but I'm not sure if I can make anything presentable out of them. I'll be working on a proper shoot soon though, so hopefully everything will turn out well! As for shopping, sadly, he's not getting any new clothes for a little while longer still, although I do have plans on finally getting him a fluffy coat this winter (it's really cold where I'm from so I always feel bad if my dolls are underdressed xD; ) but other than that I have just too much trouble finding things that fit his style in his size...

 

Drive-by sharing of my biggest and my smallest. Had them both since 2009. Because who says characters with such a huge size difference can't exist in the same story! :P

 

C does not comprehend why size difference should be a problem either! Here he is (in a really old picture) with Finn who stands at a mere 18cm and despite that is still one of his best friends!

Oh gosh I really love C's wig - especially with that faceup! I'm actually looking to get Jack one similar so that he can cosplay Crowley from Good Omens at a con with me!

Here is my Regen in his new Shinsengumi uniform. The darn ants were crawling on him so I couldn't get a really good pose, but I just ordered a new wig for him to match his samurai look, so I'll try another photoshoot when his wig comes in.

What a pretty wig. It really suits him! I love Adam's pouty, smoldering-eye look.

I'm glad you're able to see my picture. I was not sure if anyone can see it. I can see it from my home PC, but when I'm at work, my pictures don't show up, but I can still see other people's pictures ok. Maybe some sites are being blocked at work, so some pictures don't display? Dunno...

I'm looking at getting a SSDF Regen, but I was hoping someone could help me out before I decide. Does anyone have/know of any pics of an SSDF boy next to a 58cm or 60cm girl? I have a Supiadoll Nael here who needs her boyfriend to come home Any help would be appreciated!

I'm so sorry I didn't spot this post before! I have a line-up of my dolls and the first two on the left are my SSDF Regen and a 60cm Dolkot Leaf. She is wearing big shoes though so you could probably take a couple of centimetres off.

 

I could also help, zomjirate! I have a picture of my 58cm Ringdoll Julia with my Luts SSDF Cane. He looks much taller than her by comparison, but I liked this because it suited their relationship dynamic. xD Hope this is something along the lines of what you're looking for~

 

I can't wait for the day I'll own my own Cane... TT3TT I swear guys, all your beautiful boys are just so wonderful!



And here is my SSDF Avalanche, C, with my friend's Infiniti Ricky on a Crobidoll R-Line Evolve body -which I believe is 62-63cm? He's no girl, but still. My Avalanche's knees are slightly bent as he's leaning backwards though so it's not a clean comparison. Standing up straight his shoulder should be a couple of centimeters higher.

 

I just got an SSDF body and sent a photo to my friend to show her the other SD boys in relation.



Left to right is a 60cm, 57cm, 70cm SSDF, and 65cm. He is so much bigger than I was expecting!

Hi!! I'm new. Just wanted to ask if anyone could give me a photo of a sdf head on an ssdf body? Im planning to buy abadon, but I neer liked sdf body. So can nyone show me how they look when it comes to proportions? Specifically an sdf abadon head

 

SDF heads are exactly the same in size as the SSDF heads ILikeSushi39, the Summery 13 above that belongs to Sakaki is considered an SDF head

I know it's been quiet in here for ages, but I just gave Orion (Abadon) a new face up and tried out a different wig on him. I really like this combo. He looks really sweet here. ^.^

In other news, I'd love to get the romantic Avalance in the brown skin tone! I've always liked him but thought his eyes were a bit too big for my tastes, then the romantic version came out and he's perfect. I need money, lol.

 

Anyone see the new Super Senior Delf "Breeze" that Luts just put up as coming soon? He looks dang good! I want to order him when he's out so badly but alas, I am $200 short for a SS Delf right now.

I would very much like to gush about this new beautiful elf boy with his ridiculous bat ears, please.

 

Oh my God, Storm is freaking beautiful! His ears are amazing and so is his fullset outfit. Personally, I think his face is more suited to the gentler Delf body, and I'm betting those SSD hands will look like bear paws next to his face. That said, hands can always be swapped out!

 

FYI, I've put in a Q&A with Luts to ask if Storm could be ordered on the SDF65 body (since they show him on this body in some of their newest clothing listings). I don't expect them to say yes, but thought it was at least worth asking!

Edit: Yeah, no-go from Luts. Ah well, worth a try.

Does anyone here have pictures of SSDF GRIT? I've only seen a few pictures of him on Flickr and was hoping someone might have this guy. I'm thinking of putting him on the Delf body. Do the SSDF heads look funny on regular Delf bodies?

 

SSDF and Delf bodies have different neck girth. I think it won't be good.
The IGNIS head on the sd-body looks like a tadpole.

 

@Mughi Are there pictures? Luts has SSDF head options for the Delf My Choice so I figured it wouldn't look too bad. ):

 

I see this thread is pretty dead. I'm hoping anyway that if anyone has a Breeze that they can post pictures of him. I've searched other places on the site but have not found anything for him.

 

I've just bought a SSD Abadon head from @snowgray here on the marketplace and I do hope she doesn't mind what I've done with her beautiful boy - I'm not sure if he minds or not! Yes he's had a sex change same neck size as the impldoll idol girl body I've had a few years now, although topping that generous bust, the Abadon head still looks stubbornly boyish I think! Well 'he' will have to get used to being called Sarah now - I do really love the sculpt (faceup by Angel Toast) The neck mobility isn't brilliant but it is quite good - a bit stiff and I just hope the head hook doesn't crack it, as the slot is very wide!

Just got a ssd secondhand and am trying to figure out any possible mods for better posing. I have yet to put him together but i'm hoping someone has any ideas.

Currently have a Breeze head on a SSDF Abadon Blue Knight body. It's actually the body to @elve 's head, I bought it from the same seller. xD The head was originally from a MyChoice SD65, but I like him better on the body size he was made for. Also am currently paying off a Flood that I will be picking up mid-next month, so I'll have two big boys soon. I'll post pics when I get my Flood. I can do comparison pics between a SD65, SSDF, and KD if anyone needs them!

 

I got my Flood! Here he is with my SD65 boy (he has an event head). ^^ Flood is named Asher and the other one is Fynn. :>


I'm a little disappointed in the mouth part of his faceup. It doesn't seem as detailed as the company photo. He is about 6 years old, so maybe it's changed since then. I'll probably add a bit too it eventually.

 

Do SSDF guys have magnetic hands?

 

@VampireAngel13 As far as I know, they don't. Some have hands that are a single piece (joint and hand are fused, with an s-hook in the ball joint) - mine is like that and he is from 2011; but I've also seen photos where the ball joint is a separate piece similar to an ankle joint, with the ball separate from the hand's hook location.

 

In very much old version. I saw such once.

Ha no wonder I never saw one...that's as old as my first doll XD

I hate them on my Soom SG body! Like really hate. they fall off at inconvenient times.
It's not too bad for dressing, but that's about it.

I gotta say I like my hands whole. It's so much easier....but then easily removable is nice for dressing. Then again again, so are jointed hands XD

I have a SSDF body from the Abandon blue knights release. He's from around 2008-2009 I think. He doesn't have two magnetic hands, he has one that twists on and has a magnet in to keep it in place (which honestly doesn't do a very good job at holding the hand on and constantly falls off) and one that slides on. The slide hand is gripped to hold a sword too. I love the slide mechanism in the one hand and hate the magnetic hand.

My SSDF from 2015 has the hands/wrist as a solid piece, however.
