@taykung I'm so indecisive about these things. To be honest, now I'm smitten with Chloe as well. Luts just makes too many lovely dolls.

Maybe you could wait for later this year. One girl might stand out to you the most.

 

@taykung I'm actually hoping to make the deadline for this winter event so I can buy the wings and horns for a certain character. Thinking that I've made up my mind on Chloe though, she just fits my aesthetic.

 

Does anyone find Luts's event comfusing??? Just a little maybe?? I can't figure out what qualifies as gift when you purchase above $2400... Like, what doll do you get? Or do we get to choose this doll?
(I want to get Eddy as well haha and also really love the bronco skin.... so maybe two dolls?! IDK AHHH )

 

@hsifalissa You get to choose the doll with the only exceptions being white and normal are the only two resin color options and no faceup. It should show all event gift options at the bottom of your cart when you're checking out

 

@hsifalissa Eddy seems to be a popular choice around here.

I ordered him and Chloe and snagged the SD event head at check out.

Also, I haven't seen Shine and Halo around. Does anyone have them? Photos would be lovely!

 

My order status is 'Before Shipment'! I'm not sure if that means anything but I'm really excited! It's been only a month and a few days since I placed my order. So, I guess my doll is queuing for face-up.

Thank you! I get a bonus at the beginning of April so plan to splurge a bit. I cannot wait until I can order him. (then I will also have to slow down on getting new dolls as I will have a few heads without bodies LOL).

 

I still much prefer the older style of large heads and tall/lackey bodies. Mostly cause the new style direction is completely different from my collection and one of the new overly muscle guys with tiny heads would look like a turd in a punch bowl in my crew. Some of these new heads I like but only if they can come on the old style body (well the new version of it). Looking forward to seeing hybrids with the newer heads too.

My Eddy head shipped a few days ago! I can't wait to see this hybrid complete.

 

He arrived a few days ago. I can already tell he looks good in every color wig but, I gotta find him a blue one. Here he is on a Popodoll 66cm body. Still can't come up with a name for him yet.

Greetings, delurking to say that I ordered the SSDF Superior Mars (slim type).

Now I'm wondering how I shall clothe this boy...! Does anyone have experience with this new SSDF body? I guess Sadol is starting to cut for it, but what about FreedomTeller...? Do you folks expect this is likely to be a mavericky, hard-to-fit size, or will the dollie couturiers embrace it? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

 

@green_judy Can't wait to see your Mars! The new SSDF slim body looks really nice. I like the body so much, but I'd love to see more clothes coming out first xD

Annnndddd my Eddy order is now 'queued for shipment'!!! Finally~!!
I've been looking forward to meeting my beautiful boy since the day I ordered. I'm very excited to have him~

 

Here is my Eddy! He arrived at the post near me yesterday (2 May), but I couldn't pick him up because it was a public holiday. So, I rushed to the post office first thing in the morning to take him home! It took around 4 months from the order date to today and 6 days from Korea to Thailand. For anyone waiting for their dolls, I hope your dolls arrive safely

My Eddy in Bronco arrived today!



I bought the modern hanbok outfit he has on in the stock photos but I've yet to dress him because just taking him out of the box was a lot LOL. I need some time getting used to this size but I really love his sculpt.

Here's a picture of him with my Senior Delf Irene. I was a little thrown by the difference in head size but I can make it work.

@Serein He looks amazing! I think he looks great with your Irene too It might help when you get a wig on him? I feel like I keep saying that but I think it's just because for me that always seems to work for dolls with heads that I think read as kinda small LOL

I'm waiting for a romantic Abadon in bronco and your pics make it so hard to wait any longer! That resin colour looks so good.

Thank you! I didn't even think about the wig omg! A wig, clothes, and him standing upright will probably do a lot for his proportions in comparison to the Irene. Thank you for bringing some reason to me cause I was definitely feeling a bit panicky after the initial unboxing bliss wore off

I can't wait for you to get yours! Luts in general do a great job capturing the features of their dolls well but seeing his half lidded eyes and slightly upturned lips in person was a "wow" moment

@Serein and @taykung Hopefully soon! Though I might be in for a long wait as I ordered at the tail end of the winter event and I ordered two dolls + a lot of extras.

 

Thank you! After playing around with the jointing on the new body(I have the slim version), I have to say that it is my best posing doll! I thought the size would make him feel clunky, but his joints feel very fluid and click into place nicely. It doesn't take long to get him into position. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures but I was able to get him in lounging position while laying on his side with one arm kind of propping him up and also had him sitting on his knees. Both poses looked natural!

 

@Serein Wow! Looks like he can pose so well for such a big doll! The biggest doll I have from Luts has the SDF65 slim body (my current Eddy), and I love how his joints click into place nicely. It feels and poses a lot better than the first version. So glad they make their big SSDF body this good. Maybe one day I could have one.

All these Eddy’s are so beautiful! Making it very tough for yet another one who is currently on the fence between him and Tide

 

It was a tough decision for me too! Tide is sweet and handsome especially in brown skin. I got Eddy because I liked him more at that time. One day I might get Tide because he's my favorite, too.

yeeeeees! It’s the brown skin (or Bronco I am currently tied between those two) that I would be getting him in and I will admit I do tend to just sit and stare at his store photos lol. Eddy is so sweet looking but there’s just something about Tide. I really wish there were more owner pics of him out there with different styling.

 

My Eddy's all dressed and has joined my rotation of desk companions until I get him a proper stand. I'm still trying to get his wig styled. It's much shorter than I was anticipating so I can't lay it the way I originally wanted to The Falling Illusion outfits from his stock images are soo beautiful in person. I do plan on getting him a more casual activewear type set in the future. But I am absolutely loving this guy so much

Congrats! Love that face so much, I think LUTS does such a great job giving a complimentary expression with their faceups! How do you like the slim SSDF body? I have a muscular version and it's definitely been my favourite 70cm range body so far, so I'm curious what your thoughts are!

 

Thanks so much, @taykung and @sovayne ! I've been so busy with work, I only just had time to open his box yesterday...! I will try to spend a little time with him Sunday and let you know what I think. But so far, I like the way the joints feel! And I like the sculpting a lot.

 

Hi, my doll’s head is diez and I love all of diez. I know there are many versions of Diez and it's very popular, but isn't there a diez thread?

 

He is soooo gorgeous to me!!! I bought SSDF satrun at the same time, but I regret not being able to order Bronco skin head.

 

He is my SSDF saturn.(real white)
Surprisingly, he is a supermodel proportion.
Wig is 8inch and eyes 16/6
I think even a smaller iris would look good.​
