Luts Senior Delf 65 Discussion Part 1

Awesome! I like the new boys. I seriously want to get some of the SDF65 clothes but they're all out of stock and have been for over a month now. Does anyone know anything about that? I think I might ask on the Q&A board at this point....

 

Yay, thread!! I'm ordering Carmine this week, I can't wait to get him. I really fell hard for him when he came out I haven't seen any other orders yet, though. Has anyone ordered one of these boys yet?

About the clothes, I don't know! I have other things for my boy that I want to get, so I haven't considered asking them about it. It would be great to know more about it though. I would like the wig Carmine is wearing, which has also been sold out for about a month

 

So I ordered Carmine, anyone else interested in these boys?

 

Hi all! Just wanted to show a few pictures of my SDF65 Ginger, who arrived on Christmas Eve. I was finally able to paint him last night!

Unfortunately, he's not fitting in well with my crew, so I think he has to go.. but I love his body so much. He poses like an absolute dream!

These boys are so beautiful, I love their sculpts and size. The two new boys look like they will be further great additions to this line, and I sincerely hope that more people get into these boys and that Luts continues to push them.

I would very much like to see a photo comparison of the new Senior 65 Delf boy body with the Infiniti Doll SID (65cm) boy body.

Luts seems to be taking about six weeks atm, but my order is a bit... Well, huge. So I don't think my boy will get home in two weeks time already (ordered first week of January), but still maybe this month? I went ahead and ordered the last of his things so they'll hopefully still come before him

 

Looks like they just released info on the two new boys, Gray and Range! Seems they'll go on sale this Wednesday

 

Yay! Range has my kind of features, but I feel like he's a bit too young looking somehow. Both of them are gorgeous, though!

Planning on getting range soon. He'll be my first SD (breaking away from mini's~) so Im just wondering are clothes hard to find for him? Also i think i want to make a hybrid and put him on a crobi r-line body. Has anyone tried mixing a SD65 head with a crobi r-line body? If so pictures would be much appreciated. (Maybe even a resin comparison, if not a hybrid)

Wennie Did you order during the winter event? My friend placed a big order and I requested Luts to ship my Carmine with hers so it might take a while too. And did you get face-up for him?

 

Yes I did! I got two type 4 SDF bodies for floating heads as well as some wigs and torsos for my husband. Which made me qualify for the free My Choice and I chose the boy I've wanted for years: RSB Claus on the SDF type 4 body. I got him the default faceup and yes, I got the faceup for Carmine too as it's exactly what I was looking for for his character, Kharan

 

Congrats!! I'm so excited for you. Box opening will be so much fun!! I also got the default face up and got an e-mail earlier that the eyelashes I ordered ran out so got the chance to ask about the order. They said they'll be ready to ship around late March to maybe start of April ^ ^

@laurelvere - I think they do, but I don't have my boy yet. Aren't there a bazillion nude pics of the body on the website somewhere? Edit: I tried, but couldn't find pics of the inside. I never realised that, I'm curious now!

 

[MENTION=54261]Wennie[/MENTION] Yes, the site curiously does not have the socket pictures. It seems like such a good feature that it would be a shame if Luts didn't put them on the 65cm body. Well, I would be really curious to hear if the 65cm bodies do have those grooves at the shoulder; if they do then my long search for a 65cm body may be over.

 

Hello SDF65 fans!

I have some new pictures of my boy... Ginger is such a versatile sculpt!

 

I'll find out when my boy arrives, but it will be a few weeks still. I'll try a few heads on his body then too, I'm curious to see what a Switch head will look like on it and I won an LM Luke head that I'm also hunting for a body for. Those will be home long after the body, though.

Bump! I'm planning on getting a range but I'm not sure how the body will look on him since I feel he has that baby face anyone know a good lean body hybrid for luts senior65?

 

I just ordered Carmine, today. I feel like my dolls choose me. I can't wait till he gets here!

 

I'm debating jumping on this train with an rub abandon on the new 65 body via the 'my choice' option... I'm in need of either enabling or a reality check haha. Has anyone ordered one of the old sculpts on this body?

 

N, bu I happen to have a lot of Luts resin at my place, so I've tried a whole bunch of heads on the body. It's lovely, but I'll say that the neck is a bit short and so any head put onto it instantly looks a lot younger to me. I don't have an Abadon, but it's why my Carmine is actually now on an SSDF body and my SDF Wintery '14 took the SDF65. I should take some pics soon.

 

Yes please take some photos! This thread needs more images I have Ginger with the luts face-up and body blushing. He's gorgeous sculpt but I still have hard time liking Him. The head's lack of sharp features just turned out to bother me... though, I adore the body Of 65!

The new release Avlanche (both versions) is super cool! I want it, but it's a bit too large for me Still, wow, I'm seriously impressed especially since the others were a bit disappointing for me. I love looking at the pictures on their site. I can't wait to see owner photos.

 

Agreed! The face shape of avalance is beautiful - particularly I adore the dreamy eye head. I wonder how this body looks like nude with those hoove legs. I won't be getting him either though since I'm planning KDF but who ever gets him share with us!

Well partially a centaur at least (or a unicorn), which I like better anyway than a fully horse lower body. But it makes me wonder how well he stands in balance since those hooves are not so large. Or maybe I got used to seeing Soom's large hoof legged dolls. Buying fantasy avalanche on this event time would also get someone the romance head of Carmine. What a nice combo

 

Not a horse body, which is better for my wallet hehehe, because I love centurs, I have 4 in MSD size xd. Carmine is the most handsome 65cm guy to me, so I'm very happy for the head Event!!

 

So are they ACTUALLY sold out or have they just not been released yet? As in, they are revealing the whole map before the dolls become available?

 

I THINK they're releasing the map first. Avalanche page says "Coming Soon" and LUTS is REALLY good about updating their site with event dates and times. So I'm about 98% sure he isn't sold out but is about to be released. I also found it really cool that they showed how they did the blushing on the hooves. I dunno it like makes me want it even though animorph is not my thing.

 

Yeah that's why I was confused because they are usually really good about letting everyone know what's up. Revealing the map first is a great idea too... that way they won't get any "OMG JUST KIDDING I WANT THIS ONE" cancels lol. And yeah I liked that too! Luts is awsome.

 

They should seriously change those labels into "coming soon" instead of sold out it's very confusing for those who don't follow Luts intensely or are new. Carmine's sleepy head is gorgeous. Looks better than the Openeye head for my taste.

 

I really like Avalanche, but I can't decide if I can get over six pack abs since I wanted to get a Senior Delf type 3 body for my skinny character, but I'm also super tempted to have hooves with gold powder. and a unicorn horn.

 

Actually it's more like eight pack lol. I wonder if it's possible to chance the body type to senior 3, or are the hooves particularly only made to work with the 65 body...
65 is quite buff even shoulder width is larger, so not only Abbs to worry about if you want a skinny character. Personally I love the 65 body anyway

 

Well I can deal with shoulder width, I just don't care too much for abs on account my character's hobby is hiding in closets for a nap.

Hmmm though I suppose it wouldn't hurt to ask Luts if the hooves can be switched.

 

Popping in to flail over the rsb Abadon I just ordered via the sdelf65 choice system. Can't wait to have an actual muscular guy here. :3 Anyone esle taking advantage of the event to order one of these boys?

Probably. If they work with the SDF body it would only by the type 4, because that has the separately strung legs meant for attaching fantasy parts

Congratulations! Not me, but I may be ordering my SDF Chloe and in that case I'm hoping to get my Carmine a dreaming face!

 

I REALLY want that Dreaming Carmine head... ;0; I need a few things from LUTS like hands and such, but not enough for the head unfortunately. Although getting a SDF65 Carmine is very tempting... XD

Oh by the way, I don't know if this would help anyone, but I did ask LUTS awhile back about exchanging hands on the SDF65 body and they said that regular Senior Delf hands should work fine, if anyone wanted a smaller hand option. I LOVE the hands on my SDF65 body, but with my Switch Taeheo's head, they're just a little too big for him. Going to try the SDF hands to see if they look more proportionate.

 

They do fit perfectly. I've been using the SDF gun hands for both my SDF and SDF65 bodies with no trouble at all
