my annamarie will be here tomorrow. luts never sent me a shipping notice so its quite the surprise to see that little note on my door!

 

does anyone have a Pine? If so, do you know the circumference of her head? It seems to be on the big side but pictures can be deceiving as I learned this the hard way with Annamarie

Not vampire though, he does not quite feel like it. He does belong in a paranormal, supernatural kind of story though.

That could be cool. He does give a bit of vampire hunter vibes. He'd be perfect if he had some kind of weapon. A wizard staff maybe.

 

I have to say if I get an opening for him, I will go for that split Bory! He's perfect for a clown/jester doll!

 

Perhaps he was once something evil and has been reincarnated as an innocent little boy.

 

That is an option too But all I know is that he's a child, something. XD

But I'm thinking I actually don't need to know much about him, that he's somebody who lived long ago, and there are very little information about him. And sometimes people see him. Some say he's a ghost, and some say he's something else. I guess only the main character of this world and story he's a part off, really knows who and what he is. The main character are my SDF65 Sweety Bliss (Kai).

I think it is a good idea to just leave this boy to be a mystery, that could be his character. It is the only kind of character that makes sense to me, since I have so much problems figuring him out.

She's adorable Is that the white skin? I don't have a white skin doll in my Luts collection, but now I feel tempted to get a sculpt in that color

I can see why, she's really pretty. I have two girls Darae and Darin and my Bory Centaur Moonlit Song who I purchased from here years ago. He's getting on in age, but I don't think I could ever part with him.

 

luts started teasing the summer event on twitter. im so excited to see new faces!

 

It seems the summer event will start on 20th day, there's few dolls already on the site including a new kid Delf Odi. I guess the theme will be Japanese/Asian folklore this year or at least it is for the senior Delfs. Wonder if they're going to include any special bodies again this year or something else interesting?

 

I really want the event head to be cute! I want to get a bronco enoki on model delf body. Odi is precious but I don’t think she fit with my crew

all the luts doll are so pretty. I was just wondering if anyone has gotten lemon? I'm really interested in getting her. I love the eye shape she has. I just wanted to ask other people their opinions. I hope this is the appropriate place to ask.

 

My Kai has arrived, and I took advantage of every sunny window yesterday to give him a quick faceup

Not the best photo because it was dark by the time I took it.
He feels a bit different in person than I expected from photos, but he's still a sweet sculpt so I'm happy

 

the face up looks great! I like his eyebrows best. they have a lot of character.

 

is there a chance luts will add more new kid delf for wave 2 and 3 of the event?
I need to order to get that event head but im not sure if i should wait or not

 

I checked the two previous years and during them they didn't add more kids in later wave(s) but of course that doesn't necessarily mean they won't add any this year. But since they've added two not-yet-released Honey Delfs to the site it seems their sales period starts on the 7th of June so that's likely when the wave 2 goes live and we'll likely get to know the new add-ons bit before that.

I wish I liked Odi more... I'm not sure how I feel about the sculpt right now. maybe I just need to see it in a different faceup than the company one...

They added two more kids, Bean and Romance ver. Kai. (Both also with kdf45/Muse body available) Kai is limited but Bean will be available forever (well as long as Luts continues existing and/or doesn't decide to discontinue it)

 

oh nooo that romance ver. kai head... I need it... aaaa I gotta scrounge up some money somehow!!! XD

in the meantime i have fallen in love with very old sculpt, hodoo dreaming. now i feel justified to spend what i need to for that event head. i cant stop thinking about her lol

 

Here I was thinking I was safe from KDFs for a while, but Bean is so cute!!! Love the slight freckling on the limited makeup. And I already wanted a regular Kai, going to need to nab a Romance head too. Maybe I'll have Kai twins, that would be cute.

I just ordered a KDF Loe girl and a KDF Kai! (Non romantic version) My order qualified for the free KDF from the event, so I opted for a Diez.
And now I’m chomping at the bit knowing that it will be a few months.
It’s been amazing seeing everyone’s photos in this thread. I’m excited because I’ve only ever had my Bory. This will be my first set of having a KDF girl and these two new boys.

 

I played dress up with both of my Bory’s. I named them Hina and Shion 20240803_175634 and 20240803_193458

 

here is my melon with faceup B. i think she looks so different from the promo photos. actually i thought i was sent the wrong doll but after comparing closely its definitely melon. lol I do really love her but shes just different from what I was expecting!

I’m trying to decide what kind of wig to get for my girl coming in. My boys are easy. They’re already designed and Luts had most of what I needed in stock for them. But my Loe is my first girl in a long time and when I first designed her character (what feels like a hundred years ago) she had purple bangs and a black short cut. Is it worth it to try to get a custom wig made? Or should I just be patient until she gets here? (She and the boys are on a 9 month layaway with DDE)
I feel like I’m just climbing the walls at this point

 

Anyone else thinking about purchasing during the event in september? I want two raspberrys and hopefully I can order them through dde.

 

I would love to order to get another past limited head lol but I’m going to hold off. I really want a pink and purple dolls and I want to see what sculpts they release next to make sure it’s just the right ones for my characters !

 

I'm wondering what they will have for halloween too but I want two raspberry romances. Hopefully halloween is a pass for me lol this will make 16 kdfs for me.

It's the fancy new option like the 45 bodies before it so it makes sense they're pushing it. I'm sure they'll let you put the heads on regular kid/model delf bodies if you just ask them since the head size is the same anyway, I'm a bit surprised there wasn't an option for it already under the normal kid delf or under the customizing options but I suppose they hope people would order with the more expensive body option.

I'm actually confused why the muse and kdf45 body + head = $300 while the earlier body options + head is listed as = $216 it's not like the new bodies are that much bigger so it would justify the extra $84 in price.

 

i really dont care for the muse body at all but im always happy to see new heads cuz my luts addiction is so strong right now
i have a muse body in my closet i need to figure out what im doing with haha...

 

I like the muse body as well, and I'm considering it for a doll I'm putting together. Since it's relatively new, has anyone received one yet? I'm curious to see owner photos or reviews.
