Looks like Luts has started adding teasers for their winter event releases to their Twitter. Only senior delfs and grand senior delfs so far but I think they'll probably reveal the gift head by the end of the week too. It's usually posted pretty soon after they start. Wondering if the kid delfs in general will pop up in the second or third batch this year?

 

Anyone have the direct link for the teasers? Now that it is X, the posts are all out of order for me.

 

I hate the way the Twitter works now too so I feel your pain. It's every post with the "snowman with snow" emoticon: ☃️ (not sure if it shows up in this message but if it does then copy that and simply search the page for it.) That said so far it's only bigger dolls, no kid delfs yet. Looks like they are already up on Luts' site too, right at the top of the page, Senior Delf MUSE LUCIA, Senior Delf MUSE REMI, Grand Senior Delf VEGA Limited & Grand Senior Delf OBERON Limited. Hopefully the links go where supposed, I'm on the phone so testing is kind of hard

 

they just posted 2 new honey delf on instagram so i think soon we will know who is new kid delf!

 

Looks like the event gift kid head has been revealed, that took surprisingly long since the senior delf gift head was added already last week. I don't have strong feelings about them, I guess they're cute in general but I'll have to wait until they've added them to the site for additional pictures to see additional angles of the face.

 

the head is pretty, i really like it. but i want to see the new kid delf!! does this mean there won't be one? it seems like they are taking forever on purpose or something to build suspense

 

Maybe they're releasing kids in the second wave? I think that's what happened the last year so it would make sense to do again.

 

the more i look at this head, i see some resemblance to yeondu. i cant wait for more pics!!

That event head is so tempting...

 

Does anyone think there is still a chance we get a new kid delf this event? I’m hesitant to make my order just in case I love it

 

I'd imagine there'll be couple new ones, it's the most popular smaller size I think? Usually the events get 4-8 SD sized dolls, honey delf or two, couple kid delfs and if we're lucky 2 new model delfs. It does feel like they're leaning toward more and more to the even bigger dolls though which is a bummer.

I'm gonna make a wild guess and say that they'll probably start posting teaser pictures of the second wave the next week or so.

 

Looks like I was right, they're teasing Kid Delf Muscat and Kid Delf Grape on Twitter already along with a couple more senior delfs. Muscat is super cute to me but not a doll I'd actually need.

 

I feel the same way about Muscat - gorgeous sculpt, but I don't feel the need to bite.
Grape's interesting! Something about her seems more mature than the standard for the KDF line.

Muscat and Grape are both super cute! I love Muscat's eye shape! And Grape sorta gives off model delf vibes, more mature which is cool. Def don't need either one haha but I always love seeing new kid delfs.

 

Seeing more pics of Grape on the website, I completely change my mind about her. I think her face shape makes her look very harsh and she would not fit in with my group. And muscat is reading very much boy to me, I can’t really imagine him as a girl unless someone did a really soft faceup for him. I suppose I’m safe although I didn’t want to be lol

 

I totally love Grape, I'm trying to curb my hoarding right now and not meant to be making a wishlist... but if I had a wishlist, she would be on it I love her teefs and facial proportions. I would probably ask for darker lashes though.
I love Muscat too, he is certainly reading more girly to me personally and I would make him a girl He has great default make.
I am extremely happy to see that these two are not limited. I have been too rushed to buy dolls this year. It will feel great to bring these cuties home after I've caught up on all my doll projects. Thank you, sweet Luts!!!

Hi everyone. I want to put my Bory head on a body with a 7 cm neck circumference, and I was wondering if anyone tried to size down like that already. He is currently on the first luts KDF boy body with a neck circumference of 7.8 cm, so I'm a bit worried it'll gap too much. I know that KDF45 neck is 7.2 and KDF heads should fit that, I think, but how different is that compared to 7 cm by doll standards?

 

I don’t think gaping should be a big problem since Luts allows you to put the kid delf heads on model delf bodies and those have a 6.5 or so neck, you can see a few pictures in the my choice section. I have my Duri winter blossom head on a body with about a 6.9 cm neck and haven’t noticed any noticeable gaping!

 

Hi guys, does anyone have Luts KDF 21 event head? I want to match it with a minifee a-line body, but i don't know if the face ratio would match. I tried Soom serin head (which has similar sculpting style w Luts 21s) and it seems a bit bigger than the body T T

 

I finally did the face up on my Rika! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

 

does anyone have both a kid delf type 6 or 7 and model delf girl? i would love to see a photo of them together to compare the bodies for clothing purposes. thank you!

 

I have both Kid Delf 6 & 7 bodies but no girl model delf. Those two are identical minus their chest size but if you want I can take some comparison pictures of them. Just let me know what kind of pictures you need.

Luts announced a new kid delf Melon, they look super cute! And it looks like on their twitter they announced that for the month of March, orders of full body Melon will come with heart hands

Do you still need pics? I have a Model Delf Carrot (older) and KDF type 6 lovely body (from the last Satyr event) if that helps?
And would a clothed comparison be fine. I don't really wanna undress my Yul again if I can help it because her official dress was not easy to get on her and Carrot is wearing a Kimono that also wasn't too easy to wear but I can undress her

i'm waiting for my very first doll to ship right now! he's a Kid Delf Kai and i'm just so excited!! i've been admiring Luts dolls for years and years now, so to finally be able to buy one was a real dream come true

Muscat is a strong contender for a future doll for me. i'm holding out hope that they might release an elf ear version in the future!

I ordered Kid Delf MELON on March 4th in Real Skin White w/ Face Up Type B.
She was just too beautiful to pass up~

I had also ordered Kid Delf KAI Elf Ver. quite a while back on September 17th.
I'll share him after I take some new photos this week~

 

Looks like Luts is coming out with a Kid delf muse body! They posted two coming soons on their instagram and twitter for Enoki and Shallot, they look so cute! Super curious about the new body

I love the new muse bodies so much! The new head sculpts they're releasing alongside them are also lovely. Enoki's kissy face and wide eyes are especially adorable!!

I recall the SDF muse body ended up needing a separate chest piece (added later) so the non-muse SDF heads would look better on it, so I hope they've already worked out that issue so it doesn't occur with the KDF muses!

Kind of a bummer that they're not offering the limited sculpts on the new Muse body.

 

Definitely not a fan of muse bodies (or any non gender body), but I am freaking out over those limited heads. How am I supposed to choose? There's so many I want! I wish we didn't have to spend so much to get them, but wow!

 

i don't really like the new body either, i can only see it as a boy and i don't collect boys. but i really am desperate for a chance to own hanael. ugh

 

I'm not into the genderless bodies. I find it odd? It's a boy doll without his parts lol horrific accident?? Saw that on oprah once haha they've been really focusing on this type lately and I find myself drawn away from their dolls. I collect girls anyway. Other companies are filling in the classic doll vibe I like though. Sad, as I have 12 kid delfs and 3 delfs. I plan on getting some of their older sculpts mayyybee.

 

Back when they released the Senior Delf version of the muse body I would have bought the new kid version in an heartbeat since I actually like genderless/androgynous bodies (I think I might even have mentioned that here?) but now? I don't like the wide shoulders they keep using on all the new bodies and compared to the other dolls I have Luts bodies aren't really the best at posing either. I don't really see the need to purchase another body that would just frustrate me.

It's kind of weird feeling, I still love Luts in general but don't really love the direction they've been heading for a while now. None of the new heads interest me, literally the last one I was excited for was the elf eared Kai but as you could only get it as an extra gift and not in the skin color I would have wanted I skipped that one too. :/

 

yeah the shoulders are sooo wide... i know im not going to like that body when i get it. but in my mind, im telling myself that im paying for the limited head doll and getting the muse doll for free. so it's still a good deal .. or something

 

I think the muse bodies are quite pretty, though the shoulders are a bit wide for my liking - and a bit stiff-looking too.... if not for that I'd be really tempted to snag one!! maybe they'll release a 2nd version later on, and hopefully the shoulders will be a little different if they do.

I wish I wasn't on a No Buy and had the space for three new dolls, because I know exactly which dolls I'd get and what I'd do with them. As for the body, I'm less bothered by the shoulders than I am by the neck. On the body page they have a comparison of the KDF heads on the KDF, KDF45, and KDF Muse bodies and it has the thinnest neck out of all of them and looks off as a result. The shoulders just make me think of runway models, which I'm not opposed to.

 

As much as I love the muscle details, the shoulders are a turn off for me as well. Why must everyone be going towards the wide shoulders style?
I guess I just miss the old chunky bodies with the smooth lines.

 

Ugh... I just ordered MELON... Had I known they were going to release SHALLOT a few weeks ago, I would have held off on MELON... I don't think I'll be able to resist... I'll most likely order SHALLOT (at least his head) before the end of the event... My poor wallet...

As for the new body... I like it! While I do agree it is quite masculine and would only use it for a boy, I love that it's slightly shorter than the 45, shoulder's are less wide than the 45 as well, and the fingers are less chunky--slender. It gives off a feminine boy image~ My Senior65 Delf WINE is on a Senior Delf MUSE body because he is androgynous; so, I'm definitely ordering it in the future~
