I checked the website on my Corni’s status and she’s been shipped! But she hasn’t moved within the system all week. I’m excited and concerned all at once! I wasn’t expecting her to ship until later this month or even next month. Hoping she will start to move and everything will go ok this next week. But, I’m guessing that EMS is just moving particularly slowly now. I know international mail hitches flights on passenger planes and with less flights, less mail can move so.... that’s probably what’s happening. My doll is just waiting in line! But I hope she’s not anywhere that she will get damaged. Yikes!

Before the virus I made an order with them and I watched nearly step-by-step where it was at as it moved across the world. When it landed in the New York customs office I made a joke to my sister who lives in Manhattan to go rescue my package. I enjoy tracking packages, it’s part of the fun of ordering for me.

 

Hi there! Sorry if this isnt the right thread for this but i have a question about a corni i just received. How does her taill attach? Is the magnet on the inside? I cant get mine to attach. I tried just dropping a magnet in her body and finagling it, but it wasnt strong enough to stay.

 

Hooray, another new Corni owner!! Mine just arrived Monday.

I discovered my Corni’s tail came with the inside magnet attached to the tail, instead of placed inside her body. So, she is just going without. Makes me sad because I think she’d be really cute with her tail! I don’t know if this is something I’m supposed to attach myself or if they forgot to do it in production. I do not want to take her apart just so I can glue her magnet inside her torso. Yikes. I did try fixing the tail to clothes but it just slid down and looked stupid so I don’t think it’s supposed to go like that.

I wish I was more help but I’m lost too!

 

Huh. Yours came with the magnet not attached either? Mine is second hand so I figured her tail magnet had been removed at some point. Dang...I really want to have her tail on too...Be sooo adorable. Ive been wanting to take mine apart anyway, so maybe Ill be able to. Though when I did just put it in loose it didn't hold hold on like at all so Im not sure if gluing it in will even work. Hopefully a veteran Corni owner will see this and be able to help. I might post on Insta as well, see if anyone there can help. Ill let ya know if I find anything!

 

Well, when Luts was selling the cat ears and tails by themselves, they showed that you should tape the magnet onto the doll and then put the clothes/wig over that. I am kinda surprised they are not installed inside the body. If there is not well for it, the resin is going to be too thick to do an internal install yourself sadly. The only other option I can think of is a mod to made a spot for the magnet to be placed flush with the outside of the body.... tape might be your best shot.

 

Ah man...thats really sad. I hate the idea of taping it. What if i want her in a bikini? The magnet would totally show. I think ill try to make a small cavity for it. Thanks for the help!

 

Just realized I never posted my new Ani boy in here! His name is William and he's the little brother of my Volks F-17 boy.

(The yellow eyes were supposed to go with the Pipos Cheshire I ordered at the same time, but they ended up fitting him better.)

 

I’m excited! I bought three in-stock Kid Delfs from DDE, and they should be arriving on Monday! One has a company faceup, but I’m 99% sure I’m going to wipe it and do mine own. Wish they had one blank, because it feels like borderline blasphemy, but I won’t be able to click with her unless I do it myself.

 

Does anyone have a doll in real skin peach?? I’m so curious to see owner photos but I can’t find any.

 

I ordered a pair of hands in peach (I wanted to see how they match with other resins), but I have not heard anything from the dealer yet.

 

Ohh okay please share them when you get it!! I want a Muhwa in peach but I couldn’t buy without seeing the color first

 

My new Luts girls came in from DDE on Monday, and I did their faceups last night. They the Muhwa, Basil, and Jamong sculpts. I’m really happy with how they came out.

Hi guys! I have a small question!

Can the model Delf type 3 hands fit on the kid Delf type 5 body? Yes it’s weirdly specific but the wrists are chunkadelic on the type 5 and model Delf hands seem so slight!

I'm just wondering, will Luts ever update AN's faceup, do they not like the sculpt much? They've given so many of their KDFs new faceups but he never seem to get one

I really like AN. It were because of some really adorable NS AN owner pictures I found many years ago that I decided to get him. I've been trying to find the pictures again but I can't find them. Only thing I remember is that this AN were named Rain I think.

But I also got him a little bit because I felt he was a neglected sculpt. He's far from an ugly sculpt, but unfortunately the official pictures of him are really crappy...

Hello, I've tried looking for a definite answer on this but can't seem to find one.

I checked out the kid delf measurements compared to Volks msd and they look a bit larger in the chest...

Does anyone know if they for sure will fit VOLKS clothes? I know they're listed as one of the places to get clothes for them in the thread but I just wanted to be sure since I love a lot of their outfits and I'm looking for a mini body. Thanks!

 

The new Kid Delfs are so pretty! The boy looks a little more mature than the average kid delf, IMHO. Luts also teased a new KDF45 boy body on their (Korean) twitter, with high heel leg parts! Looks kinda similar to the MDF slender body to me.

@rainglow ~ I'd say it depends on which KDF body you get. I have a Volks MSD and a KDF girl with the type 6 body, and the KDF is quite a bit smaller and slimmer. Some Volks clothes would probably fit her, but given the choice I wouldn't buy Volks stuff for her. However, if you wanted to get a KDF on one of the the thicker, more childlike bodies (I'm thinking the type 5, especially), I think Volks stuff would fit pretty well.

 

I have both type 5 (non romantic) and VOLKS sdm! They definitely share clothes! Although sdms feet are wider, they can share everything else. One kid Delf outfit my SDM has; fits her better than my kid Delf! Some things will be too small on the sdm, like some MDD sized stuff. Otherwise, they will do super well together. My kid Delf also wears volks clothes very well! But again she’s non romantic.

 

Here's a picture of Seiru! My idea was to make him like a girly boy, and I think this hair works. Maybe I'll get another wig for him in the future~ As for his clothes, I wanted to dress him sporty, because I want him to be athletic.

 

Has anyone thought about purchasing one of the new Kid Delf, if not both? I'm looking at AENDU, and she’s . I have one girl right now, and I'm desperate to get another, so I'm pretty convinced~ The only problem is that I'm also in love with the event head. Initially, I was only going to get him with a body, but now that I want her... I don't know. I don't want a floating head, especially if I really like the mold, so I definitely want to get a body for him... I’m confused~

 

That's a nice style for him. The red and white, and with the brown hair suits him well

 

Thanks for sharing that. After thinking about it, I'm pretty set on the event head, so I've decided that I'm not going to get her. I also just got a Kid Delf, so I really want a different size. Hopefully, someone else will get her and share her.

@PoeticSoul Thank you so much! Yes! Even if you have the same sculpt just different eyes or clothes or wig make such a huge difference. There was one guy I was this close to getting rid of because I just did not like him. Changed his eyes and wig and now he’s one of my favorites.

I've been browsing the thread a little and I'm just loving the Lavender and Grey ones. Is there a chance to perhaps get some more shots of Grey and Lavender boys and girls?

 

@A Wee Tiefling Beatrice does have very dramatic makeup. Standing in her bare feet, she is 39.5cm tall, which is a wee bit too short? From what I have been able to find out, she should be about 41cm? Beatrice is my first ABJD, so I am still getting used to her being here. (^_^)

Has anyone seen the the new Kid Delf DIEZ? He is super cute! After his release, I am definitely jumping in and ordering him. I am so happy I decided to wait a little bit before participating in this event.

You could order kdf head on the mdf slender body? Unless you don't like any of the mdf bodies. Also luts teased a new kdf body, maybe you like it.
