This look is really good for her, love those purple eyes! I recently moved and it was such a hassle moving my 3 full dolls + head with me... all their clothes and accessories are still in my old place. Hope I can get them here soon...

I am seriously considering ordering a Corni for my birthday but can’t decide between the Kid or the Honey size! I only have one Senior Delf so far so I know the size difference will be interesting no matter which I choose. She’s so cute! It was a hard choice between her and the doll I eventually chose.

Does anyone have any pictures of this Snow (Zuzu White) skin? Is it a very stark white?

I just ordered Corni! I decided to go with the Zuzu white even though I can’t find any owner pictures, if it is more like a china white then it should be a very pretty color. I’m so excited!! I also ordered a couple of outfits because I have absolutely nothing that would come close to fitting her here. Now the waiting game begins.

 

Does anyone have a Summer 2016 event head here? She never got an official name so its kind of awkward of trying to describe her sculpt lol. I'd love to know what body might work for her since I have one coming. I know doll leaves is an option but I like other options as well. She looks like she has a more pudgy face more or less.

My Bory boy's head is finally on his way home, and tjkardynal did such a good job on his faceup. I can't wait to have him back and take about five million pictures! (Once I figure out which wig to give him.)

It's actually a day earlier than he was supposed to be here, but Milo's head came in today! So I got him all put together and headed into the backyard for a couple of photos!

@Cennie Thank you! I absolutely fell in love with his new faceup. And the Luts fantasy resin colors are so pretty, I'm so happy I opted for this one! It has nice hints of blue and green in the grey. The wig I actually bought specifically for him during the Luts wig sale. :3

Lovely faceup with that wig!!!!! I think he looks much more blue in the daylight but it looks really nice! Kinda wanna see him in a silver or light blue wig!

He might not actually be quite as blue as he appears in the picture. One of my photo correction filters leans a bit towards blue, I think. Here's another photo of him in different lighting without said filter.

I agree that he looks great in all the different wigs although the pink one seems to be most suitable, where did you get all those light blue and teal ones!!!
Also the silver wig looks a little gold-beige ish, maybe a cool silver would be more suitable!

 

@asatou I tend to add a little blue when photo editing to tone down redness, and I guess I didn't think ahead when doing it for a greyish tone doll! I do like the pink one the best, although that teal one looks good on him!

As for my wig collection, to be honest, those two light blue ones are two of my oldest wigs! I think I purchased them off ebay waaaay back when I got my first dolls. The teal one is a Leekeworld wig though, I got it out of a grab bag from DDE when they had a special. Since I love fantasy colors, I try to have a decent selection on hand, especially since I have at least one character who canonically dyes his hair different colors regularly.

That's currently the only silver-ish wig I have. It's actually closer to white in person.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found another wig! I forgot that Ashe has silver hair.
The lighting in my apartment at night is pure awful though...

 

Oh that silver wig looks shiny pinkish with room light and I actually really like the shade!!!! The somewhat curly style suits him too!

 

@Magnus Vale regardless of the wonderful wig choices, your boy is positively gorgeous in that resin color with such an amazing face-up! He looks absolutely phenomenal in everything...however will you choose?

 

I'm trying not to go too off-topic but I'm wondering do people still order their dolls during this time of the Coronavirus?

Everything that's going on have been emotionally difficult for me so I decided I could really need a little something to cheer myself up. A little something to look forward to. I really like KDF Rika, like I would consider her a grail doll. Been interested in that sculpt since the release. So I decided I really want her and am going to save up for her in real skin tan. Currently I only own KDF boys so it will be really fun to get a girl as well.

I already have the Red Classic Alice dress set, wig, shoes, eyes and a doll stand ordered. I decided to order that first as I could not risk the dress getting sold out. I really love Alice themed dolls and I think my Rika's name will be Alice too. Can't wait to order her

@asatou It really is a cute wig, but unfortunately someone else has a very strong prior claim, and since Milo technically already stole his shoes...

@PoeticSoul Thank you! It really is a hard decision! I'll also need to figure out a casual outfit for my little prince eventually in addition to wig choices. Maybe I'll switch him between the pink/blue and the teal, as those have been my favorites so far.

@manabusama I would probably still order. Most virus don't live for long on inanimate objects, such as packages/dolls, and you can always quarantine the box for a few days after it arrives. Wipe it down with Lysol/bleach wipes on the outside, and wash your hands thoroughly, if you are worried! But I think it should be fine. Rika is a cutie!

And my boy is the dreaming elf Bory, from the last event with fantasy resin. He's technically on the model delf body, but his head is kid.

And he's currently making friends with the other denizens of Magnus's lair.

 

I'll do the order anyways when I've got the money. Haven't ordered a kid delf for a long time and can hardly wait. Were just a little curious if BJD orders are slowing down or not at the moment. But what a cool little group, your boy fit right in with the 2 others.

I got my winter order yesterday! in this house all Borys have to be Kid Delfs, so I ordered a Lio at the same time and switched the bodies. Both of them are Bubble Mint, it's so colorful and fun :3 I also got a girl Bory in the Lavender; it's really pretty in person!

@Cennie What a great group! I never realized how much shorter the KDF body is compared to the MDF, thanks for the comparison! I definitely hope that Luts offers the fantasy resin again in the future, I love that lavender too!
